@Brodie Gianni i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Big fan of lawn dethatchers. I bought one 4 yrs ago and do it every fall, sometimes spring. Makes a huge difference. I compost the material for use later in my lawn and gardens.
I'm going to go gang busters on the sun joe dethatcher on my lawn this season. I'm going to use in monthly at a minimum. they do this in europe with amazing results.
Just used the SUNJOE in Dethatch mode. Thank you for the review, recommendation and Dethatching hints. While it is not what I would call "Commercial Grade" equipment, it gets the job done and makes for a fun walk. :-) Cord management is KEY! Start close to the outlet at the house and work away from it. This is will keep your cord on one side and prevent you from having problems with the cord.
Thank you for explaining about the dethatch and scarifying process. I have seen several other Sun Joe videos but no one ever states which to do first and when to do the other. Thanks for clearing that up for me. I bought a Sun Joe last week. Can't wait for it to be delivered to start using it. By the way your dog is awesome.
You'll love it! Such a great little machine. Be sure you have the right gauge extension cord or you'll burn up the motor. 12 gauge 100 foot or 14 gauge 50 foot
I am going to order one now. Thanks for the heads up on the extension cord gauge. I found your videos recently and the dethatcher videos have been awesome. My parents lawn looks so bad, and I have been saying that it needed to be dethatched. I hope this helps us make some changes.
I bought a SunJoe , it works great and it is incredible to see what it pulls out of the lawn. I dethatched my lawn 4 times in a row and the SunJoe kept pulling more stuff out.
My lawn is looking do much better thanks to your advice. Hands down the best thing I've done on my yard was to dethatch it. Looking forward for more dethatching videos, I actually enjoy them more than mowing videos
Thanks....Have watched all your videos....got my sunjoe two days ago....have my lawn half done....but two neighbors have their lawns completely done....they love my sunjoe.....next the two kids yards will bee done......i will back to mine in a few days.....thanks for all the tips....stay safe
Royce is a cutie ❤️ That said, I’m a recent follower of your channel in the process of rehabbing a 2 acre disaster on high alkaline compacted clay. Lots of issues, but I’m hoping soil amendments and hard work will do the trick over time. Bought the sun joe after watching your video on it a few weeks ago and I was surprised how much I like it. I think I will be using it often to help the compaction.
Awesome video Ginja! With your encouragement & advice, I worked the heck out of this yard last fall with cleaning & seeding, plus through this warm winter with more cleaning & super low cutting. This Zoysia lawn is cleaned, pre-emerged, SunJoe raked, SpeedZoned, & now fertilized!
@@pestandlawnginja Happy Easter Brother Ginja! Quick Update: My Zoysia is starting to wake up here in Virginia & I'm beginning to see results. I'm having some success Slaying my weeds... including those Super Nasty low growing vine-like cloves (maybe Lespedeza clover or Spurge). Ha-Ha... BUT ... Maybe you recall me sharing that I read on the web elsewhere that when Zoysia grass is dormant, it was ok to use Round-Up ... well I seriously wanted to kill those weed while they were super visible in my dormant Zoysia ... You guessed it... it did helped kill weed BUT it also killed Zoysia in those spot treated areas. Ha-ha of course! Anyway I'll have a few spots in my lawn now but am confident the Zoysia will fill in throughout the year. At least the weeds are on the run! lol. :-) Ginja, any advice on how to help the Zoysia spread along in those area? Maybe peat moss or topsoil after raking it a little??? Since I did a pre-emergent treatment (Andersons 0.48% Barricade) in March before soil temp reached 50° 3" down, I think I must wait 4-5 months before seeding? Either way I'm taking a WIN against weeds!
I have a Sunjoe also. It gets a little annoying dragging the cord around but what it does for your lawn is well worth the effort and the relative pocket change I paid for mine a couple years ago.
Ginja dropping straight knowledge on us! Last year I bought the Sun Joe after watching your comparison video and I couldn’t be happier with it. Thanks for all the solid advice brother. I can’t wait to get my ProPeat and slay my back yard with it this year. Now I need to get that tenacity down and kill the weeds.
Pest and Lawn Ginja I have not doubt. I trust anything you put your stamp of approval on and I’ve been patiently waiting to find this stuff available to the diy community. Just ordered my first bag from your link now.
Great tips followed them all, I bought a SunJoe last year based on your recommendation and love it. Tried out the de-thatcher attachment for the first time and was amazed at how much dead grass it pulled out. Lawn looks greener already, ordered the ProPeat and arrived in one day (I live in SLC) so nice, can't wait to see the results.
Thanks Ginja! I picked up the 13-5-8 ProPeat today. My hope is to put down less N this year. No more crazy top growth for this guy! I am thinking 2 pounds of N for the entire season. I'm at .25 right now. Will evaluate and make adjustments from there...
Hey Ginja. In the late spring (end of April beginning of May) I dethached and did a Tenacity with Speedzone treatment which appeared to have done a decent job of killing undesirable grass and weed growth. After 2 weeks I hit the lawn again with Tenacity only. My goal was to eventually overseed. I didn't get to overseed right away due to weather issues and other things. About the first week of June I finally got to the point where I scarified and spread Propeat 13-5-8. A few days later I overseeded. I watered for 10 minutes 3 times a day up until the middle of July. At the end of June and the beginning of July the new grass filled in very well in most places. And by then I was mowing on a weekly basis. Then all of a sudden, in the last 2-3 weeks I've had some broadleaf weeks as well as crabgrass, Johnson grass, and other undesirables inundate places in my lawn where the grass was looking great. My plan was to do the Tenacity treatments and overseed again in the fall. But right now in the hot days of August what would you recommend? I am kind of at a loss for where to go from here. Thank you in advance for your professional guidance and comic relief.
herbicides work slower in hot weather but still do a fantastic job. spray in the early morning or late evening as the temps get or are below 90 degrees.
Ya...My sun joe is scheduled for delivery tomorrow. No more renting that big heavy dethatcher! I followed this process last year and over seeded with a premium seed called Midnight Kentucky Bluegrass. Also used the Tenacity. WOW This spring my lawn is incredible! The new grass seeds are needed. The Midnight Kentucky Bluegrass is a deep dark green even without nitrogen. The Lawn Ginja is a Grass Master...
Little confused on how much propeat I should be using on the lawn. What is a safe amount, what is too much? I am looking for a bit of guidance here. Thank you for your time and effort and I bought the SunJoe yesterday. I can't wait for it to come.
Excellent informative video and shows if you put in the effort you will be rewarded, although it appears the little boy put in all the effort and you was rewarded with a lovely lawn lol.
Great explaning video! Thanks. I see you set to 0 the level in the Sunjoe for Dethathing, but how deep do you set your Sunjoe for Scarification? Thank you again!
Damn fine video, Sir. I just got the SunJoe yesterday. It's freakin impressive! Possibly the best purchase I've made thus far. Thanks for the recommendation!
Love the FREE SHIPPING on the fert on the yard mastery website.... basically its included in the pricing. Did not expect that at all! ProPeat for sure!
Rolls Royce is my Spirit animal here on earth, but Ned is my spirtual animal in Doggy heaven! Best of luck to your back yard this year with Rolls Royce using it as its bathroom!
I’m a true believer in the Lawn Ginja. Already was using the SunJoe to dethatch, but scarified this year and used that ProPeat. What a huge difference. My lawn has never looked this thick and healthy. ProPeat question for you. What ProPeat would I use around end of June beginning of July for bugs? The last few years, I have had some sort of small insect do some damage to my lawn. Typically has happened during the summer drought, where I think it is just dormant. The landscaper I hired a few years back diagnosed the bugs so I use the Scotts, but would gladly switch to the ProPeat equivalent of the Step 3. Thanks for the channel. Great tips. I have the lawn everyone in the neighborhood wants now. #lawngoals
Unfortunately propeat to my knowledge doesn't carry a preventive insecticide. Check out the description of my grub videos. I have links to the products I recommend for both curative and preventive grub control. Hope that helps
Hey, you sure know your stuff! Hopefully an easy question for you. If I had $100 to spend on a lawn in average to above average condition. How much should I spend on overseeding and how much should I spend on fertilizing. Thanks
Rented a dethatcher today!!! Honestly feel like the yard looks better after!!! I have bermuda 419 and rye in the winter... Question: bermuda 419 doesn’t have a seed, should I just water and add fertilizer to hope the grass fills in dirt spots or should I buy a few pieces of sod?
The bermuda creeps really well. it will depend on the area you're trying to fill in and how big of an area it really is. eventually it will grow laterally.
Good work. I'm on Long Island, NY and I'm working on my mostly zoysia front lawn this year after getting some good results with my cool season back yard with the Sun Joe. With my front lawn, it is sloped and I just scalped it at 1.25in yesterday. After scalping it, I could see and felt the surface "dirt" feeling quite spongy. The game plan is to pass it twice with the Sun Joe dethatcher. I'm wondering if I should should do a pass with the scarify attachment afterwards and before hitting it with the fertilizer.
@@pestandlawnginja Will Do! I'll do a single pass after dethatching. If I pull up a ton of material, I'll do a second pass. I don't think the soil here was ever maintained, so I definitely want to open it up especially considering it sits in the sun most of the day.
I purchased a 40 pound bag of the ProPEAT 17-0-4 Carbon 90 Plus from Yard Mastery. The bag does not have suggested spreader settings. Can you tell what setting I should use for a SCOTTS ELIETE Broadcast Spreader?
@@pestandlawnginja I did my power rake today with the Worx machine. 2 passes (opposite directions) and oh my did it pull alot out. Before I mowed and power raked I had the nicest lawn on the block.
I have a new construction tall fescue sod lawn, year old. I scarified, detached, and seeded in the fall with RTF, can I skip the dethatch, scarify this spring.....I'm a newbie and learned what little I know from your channel last year:) hoping it can be a skip, my son has flown the coop and this mama don't wanna do all that work if I can skip it.....
Personally I wouldnt. However you'll find since you did it last year this wont be such a huge task and you can suck the lawn debris up with the mower. Trust the Ginja! You'll slay that lawn
Just received my Sun Joe. Will have to set aside a few hrs to get the 10,000 sq feet done! Love the videos and check that extension cord for teeth marks :)
I too am in northern Utah. Seeded a new lawn last year and it came in great. Thinking about overseeing this spring to fill in, as it's still a little patchy. Would you recommend scarify, seed, fertilize in the next couple weeks for my lawn?
I normally keep my lawn at about 2.5 - 3 inches tall. Should I mow it lower before dethatching? Same question for when I apply things like fertilizer? Cheers!
Ginja, you talk about a thatch rake being great for overseeding in your other videos, but I never see you use it in any of your lawn improvement videos. I'm cheap with a lot of free time, please teach me! Can I use the rake to like scarify? After seeding do I use the rake to help push the seed in?
Hello Lawn Ginja: I live on 4 acres of grass in the country and have never power raked/dethached the lawn. Sometimes I'd mow after three weeks of growth, so a lot of dead grass would accumulate on the top. We are at the point now where not too much green lawn comes through because it's so heavy in dead cuttings just laying there. I MUST DETHATCH. I will probably get a Bluebird machine and do all 4 acres, but man that's a lot of hand raking. And I always felt I would have to do it twice. Nobody has any power machine that would accumulate all those trimmings, and it will be a huge amount, and to hand rake it is almost unthinkable. I have a Ford 8N tractor with a 6 ft Land Pride mowing deck. Was hoping another attachment could make for quick cleanup. Do you know of any machine that I could rent ? What's the best method to save my elbows from wearing out? Thanks for responding back, Ginja! THUMBS UP!
Hey there! Amazon sells a tine based dethatcher that can attach to the front or rear of a ride on mower. I would invest in that. works great! You could jerry rig it to fit on the tractor
@@pestandlawnginja Hey Ginja...I called my rental shop and they suggested just like you did! They only have a 22 inch machine, but also Brinley brand has a 40 inch pull behind attachment, and there is a built in top tray where you can place two cinder blocks on top to create more weight to keepthe unit from bouncing around, and you might be able to tie four blocks down to really bite in. A note about Amazon currently (April 2020), they are only shipping necessities out to customers. I wanted to order Prodiamine after your Great TH-cam videos on the subject, but Amazon rejected the order, so I had to go locally, and I got my Chapin 4 gallon 24 volt back pack as you suggested. No more neglecting my lawn as the Pest and Lawn Ginja would be so disappointed in me. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR ENCOURAGEMENT AND EDUCATIONAL VIDEOS. PLEASE KEEP EM' COMING!! THUMBS UP!
Great video. I watched this and another one of yours on diagnosing problem lawns. I believe you said somewhere that you were in Utah. That advice is nice as I live in the Denver front range area. Too many of these videos are in warmer, wetter climates. I have multiple questions relating to lawns in the Rocky Mountain West but I will limit this comment to one issue I am struggling with. The issue I have is to do the de-thatching, aerating then over seeding, I see the normal recommendation is cut the lawn to a 2". My normal cutting height is 3" and BTW I have a bluegrass lawn. I did that that by cutting it to 2-1/2" then 2" is stages a couple of days apart. The 2" height really seemed to cut too low as it seems to expose the bottom of the grass. I then had a commercial dethatcher come in to do the thatch removal and then aerate. Not happy with what this guy left, think I will buy the Sun Joe dethatcher you use and do it myself from now on. Anyway, what are your comments for this part of the country for spring prepping the lawn as far as cutting height in preparation for dethatching?
Thanks for the reply. What height do you normally cut your lawn? Also, I noticed in your video there was a few bare spots (or tan colored spots), one by the driveway, one about 10-15 feet in from the driveway. What will you do to repair these spots in your lawn? I have a number of these in a normally very green, very healthy lawn. I ordered the Sun Joe dethatcher and plan to give these spots more focus along with properly detaching the whole lawn. Would it be good to clean the brown spots up, add a compost/peat layer and then reseed with a bluegrass mixture or just let the neighboring grass send rhizomes into it?
Brett love your videos. They are so entertaining I often watch them more than once. Live in slc and working to correct a very shallow root problem lawn. I fertilized a week ago with Nitra King before the rains and dethached today with my Sun Joe. I believe you recommend watering after dethatching but given the time of year I wonder if that is recommended. Soil is tiny bit dry especially below 3" deep. What watering/nonwatering schedule would you recommend for correcting shallow roots and trying to fill in a sparse lawn in places from now until the warmer month of May?
@@pestandlawnginja Typically you water deep to promote root growth. When spot watering, do you still try and water deeper or is it more of a light hand watering with a hose just to keep the soil from drying out and tie you over until you transition to watering with sprinklers?
I do try and water deep when spot watering. If the soil has hard compact clay I do it in session to train the hardened clay. so if the water is running off the soil surface you've done too much and need smaller more frequent visits throughout the day
Ginga!! Love your videos and your little helper this year! I have a Sunjoe battery op mower and a Snowjoe snow thrower and I love them!! Guess I should make room for the dethatcher now...totally worth the results. Early spring here in Upstate NY, so I aerated with my aeration shoes, and used Vigaro weed and feed. Should I wait till next spring to dethatch?
I will use the dethatcher about 6 times or more per season if you can believe it. It's super non invasive once you get the massive amount of debris out on the first run. you could potentially run that machine daily as long as you set the height right. less debris, better color and the plant breaths better too. by using the machine it also doesn't allow weed seeds to germinate. so if you used it throughout the germination period it helps a ton, especially with poa
Are there any concerns with dethatching this early with young grass? I overseeded heavily in the early Fall last season after removing tons of dead grass/lawn debris, so I'm hoping that helps thicken things up this Spring. It still seems like I have lots of dead/brown grass mixed into the turf, so I was thinking another run with the SunJoe could help pull some more of that out, but don't want to risk damaging any of the relatively-new grass from the Fall. I was going to get some fert & pre-emergent down soon either way, but wondering if I should do a dethatch pass first. Solid pup & name choice - I have a English Bulldog with the same name. He's allergic to just about everything, but still loves laying in the lawn!
WHAT!!!! same name!!! Crazy! here i was thinking i had the unicorn name LOL That's awesome. give him a big hug from me. I wouldn't suggest power raking young grass until it's established. great question.
Can’t wait for the ground to dry a little more so I can get the Sun Joe out. Is the Pro Peat 17-0-4 counterproductive to a lawn with excessive calcium and high ph prior to adding 5lbs/1000 sqft of sulfur? Also, does your Sun Joe rip out a lot of good grass when scarifying? Thanks in advance.
It will rip some good grass out. the lawn recovers quickly. I will do scarifying every spring and fall and randomly in areas where the thatch is too dense throughout the season
Another great and useful vid. Up here kamas, just got aerated, notice little almost translucent white worms at the bottom of,the plug...friend or foe? Missing the Ned, good friend man. Looks like the weed eater got a ittle close to beard and love the Ut tan. Oh, I use ammonia sulphate for those pesky voles. Thanks Stay safe man.
Great question Bradley. I wouldn't worry about much this time of the year in regards to bugs. The soil temps are cold and grubs here are from the billbug family and don't overwinter in the grub stage.
I went out and bought the Sun Joe after watching your other video. How often can you run the "dethatcher"? How can you scarify a lawn? Should it be down in Spring and Fall only?
I like to do the big one first and then I do it every month to every other month using the dethatcher. it's non invasive. I use the scarifier every spring and fall.
Good morning. Last fall following your advice I bought a sunjoe detacher/scarifier and I reseeded my lawn with a blue grass mix. Some came up good and some did not. Now I want to reseed the bare spots again Most of my lawn is full sun in salt lake city, it gets really hot. Should I use a different mix of grass and when to seed it? Thank you. Have blessed day. I much prefer your shorter beard.
Love it! Thanks. Bluegrass does well here in utah. If you have Shady spots you could introduce a perennial rye grass throughout. I prefer the barenbrug turf blue pro
My yard is around 1.2 acres, would the Sun Joe be big enough that I could use on my lawn? I have a lawn tractor, but unsure of the effectiveness of the tow dethatchers vs. Sun Joe. Any advice? Thanks, your videos are awesome!
Hi thanks for good video with easy understanding for lawn beginners like me . I already pre merge with prodiamine wanted to know is is ok to put fertilizer
Thank you for the video about the Sun Joe, I have had the dethatcher for about three years and it works great but that model did not come with a scarify so I bought another Sun Joe which has a Scarify and it should be delivered next week and appears to be the one missing piece with my lawn. I use to use an aerator but last year I was not happy with my lawn so I killed the grass and started it all over with Kentucky Bluegrass now my grass looks fantastic in the front and just trying to get my back together. I watched Ryan Knorr and Grass Daddy videos on how to kill grass and started all over again. The question I have for you from your video, what is the sand/topsoil ratio when you level your lawn ? I did not understand why people were using sand to level lawn, but now I think I understand now.
Thanks for the awesome tips gingahhh!! What if you have some bare spots in the lawn? Would you over seed along with these other steps? If so what do you reccomend for amounts of watering. Thanks so much.
my yard was really bumpy and hard; the mower would just shake, bounce, and rattle over the surface - until last year I got the SunJoe shown in this video, the verticutter blades cut thru those bumps and ground down any larger high spots to do a great job of leveling it out before reseeding - so I can vouch for that, well worth the sub $150 price .... I still get tons of worm mounds, but now light passes are all that are needed, and after late fall fert the grass is very thick this spring; I might just do a very light few passes with the SunJoe and the spring loaded raking tines before fert in the next few weeks, I've already used the cutter blades on a small area by some trees along the sidewalk just to make groves and further smoothing in high spots I scalp with the mower before some seed early this year to keep it from washing away - the device feels kinda light and plasticy, but using it you find that it is the perfect weight and size to be maneuverable and get the job done, way surpassing what you could possibly do with a hand rake; great tool that takes care of a new dimension in lawn care .... I saw the SunJoe in some of the Pest and Lawn Ginja's videos last year, and got more than my money's worth from it already; it does get dirty, and one of my wheels came loose, but its good for a few different tasks and is easy to use(managing the cord is the hardest part) really made a big difference to have a smooth, even, thick, and pro looking yard
Hey Ginja! I'm in the process of renovating my lawn. Living in Southwest Ohio I feel I may have missed the prime time for a Spring time renovation. My lawn has lots of weeds, thin/bare spots and in need of some pretty major leveling in many areas. The only thing I've done is sprayed with Tenacity. I'm a bit overwhelmed with doing all this in the correct order. My plan was to kill the weeds, dethatch, scarify (Sunjoe :), aerate, level and then overseed, in that order. Am I on the right track as far as the order? Since it's a bit late in the season should I do some and then finish the rest in the Fall? Thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge and I love your videos! Awesome pup you got there too!
You're on the right track. Just keep in mind tenacity is great for killing some weeds and pre emergent when overseeding. If you're looking to not overseed and want pre emergent go with dithiopyr or prodiamine. Much better pre emergent and lasts twice as long use speedzone or tzone for weed control
@@pestandlawnginja So my lawn is mostly weeds. Should I use the speed zone and tenacity combo and wait to over seed or just use tenacity and over seed?
You'll want to do the first app of speedzone and tenacity and see if you have any new weeds coming up. once you start the seeding process you won't be able to use any herbicides for 6 to 9 weeks.
Thanks for watching today's video. Check out the description to see the products I used today. If you're looking for the best treatments for your lawn, check out my favorite products:

It would have been even more electrifying especially for the dog if that extension lead was plugged in.
That's great news Melanie! Sounds like you have a fun project. It's super rewarding! Keep going and slay that lawn!

Happy Easter Brother Ginja!
Quick Update:
My Zoysia is starting to wake up here in Virginia & I'm beginning to see results. I'm having some success Slaying my weeds... including those Super Nasty low growing vine-like cloves (maybe
Lespedeza clover or Spurge). Ha-Ha...
At least the weeds are on the run! lol. :-)
Ginja, any advice on how to help the Zoysia spread along in those area? Maybe peat moss or topsoil after raking it a little???
Since I did a pre-emergent treatment (Andersons 0.48% Barricade) in March before soil temp reached 50° 3" down, I think I must wait 4-5 months before seeding?
Either way I'm taking a WIN against weeds!
First there was Bill Nye the Science Guy. Then there was Alton Brown with Good Eats. Now there's Pest and Lawn Ginja. Awesome stuff!

Thanks! You'll love the propeat! It's fantastic

Rad! I love hearing this. Glad to hear you're slaying that lawn!
Thanks Ginja! I picked up the 13-5-8 ProPeat today. My hope is to put down less N this year. No more crazy top growth for this guy! I am thinking 2 pounds of N for the entire season. I'm at .25 right now. Will evaluate and make adjustments from there...
Awesome! You'll love iy
Great to have you back in the lawn! I have started my own channel now. Thank you for the inspiration. /Robin
That's great news robin!
Your dog is pretty keen on the SunJoe! Enjoying your channel all the way from NZ
Thank you very much! I'm hoping to travel to NZ sometime in the next year or so. dying to get on the lawns there.

@@pestandlawnginja Good to know. It’s not grubs. I do put grub protection down in beginning of June. This ProPeat is just awesome though.

The dethatcher should suffice for zoysia but if you want to force new growth hit it up with the scarifier

Good to see you again buddy!! How the fetch is your lawn so green. Our grass is a bid sad right now. Your lawn almost looks fake. It's gorgeous.
Lets make your lawn great again!
I too am in northern Utah. Seeded a new lawn last year and it came in great. Thinking about overseeing this spring to fill in, as it's still a little patchy. Would you recommend scarify, seed, fertilize in the next couple weeks for my lawn?
I like your plan of action. the scarifier will help the seed to soil contact.
Looks like good excercise!
It's fantastic exercise! Love your videos
I don't over seed my lawn often. when I do i use the scarifier attachment and then use a roller afterward to help push the seed to soil contact.

I prefer to cut 2" or less on the cutting height in preparation. the lower the better. it exposes all the lawn issues.
Nice house bro, nice and clean!
Thank you! 😃
I would spit water for your dry areas. General rule of thumb is we dont want the soil to fully dry out
@@pestandlawnginja Typically you water deep to promote root growth.

Great video bro!!
Thanks for watching and commenting
Great video! Thanks!

Those mountain ranges in the back are breath taking. Do you ever go up there? Here in Ohio we just have corn for miles.
we do! we go up there twice a month over the summer. helps get out of the heat.

New subscriber. Awesome video very detailed 👍🏼
Thanks for the sub! Glad you're finding value!

I used a 70 /30. Its personal pref. I preferred more sand for the leveling properties and drainage issues I'm having
Pest and Lawn Ginja Thank you, I think I need to wait until my grass fully establish itself in my backyard before I start using sand
Good plan
Thanks for the awesome tips gingahhh!! What if you have some bare spots in the lawn? Would you over seed along with these other steps? If so what do you reccomend for amounts of watering. Thanks so much.
Yes, absolutely. spot seeding is totally fine. the soil has to stay damp for 3 weeks minimum
Cute puppy.
Thank! Rolls Royce is a boss!
my yard was really bumpy and hard; the mower would just shake, bounce, and rattle over the surface - until last year I got the SunJoe shown in this video, the verticutter blades cut thru those bumps and ground down any larger high spots to do a great job of leveling it out before reseeding - so I can vouch for that, well worth the sub $150 price ....
Awesome review. Thanks for spending the time to write this
Ok sounds good. Thank you very much for the quick response.
@@pestandlawnginja
So my lawn is mostly weeds.
