It sets up two towers which isn't a full film either. It's just a story that's cut to 3 parts. Same thing with Dune. It was cut to 2 parts. Either u like it or not. People will call it a sequel. I don't know what's so bad about calling it a sequel lmao

You did the right thing getting the security at the theater. Absolutely 100%. ESPECIALLY if your girlfriend is the one who brought it to your attention. Not only did you do right by your girl but a woman's intuition is no joke

It is very strange though, to me it almost sounded like they were trying to hide from the police or something, like they ducked into the theater and bought tickets to the longest movie there to figure out what to do next. That's all just a guess though

Bringing it to the attn of someone in security/authority is an act of selflessness if a feeling of danger is involved. It's good to retain identifying info & impressions, although it appears nothing untoward happened THIS time, those SAME individuals could be involved elsewhere in the future. Your encounter may have been a "surveillance/scoping/drive by". Never take it for granted or dismiss it as overreaction. Always follow through.

I do want to say though, Dune Part Two truly is amazing. You were on point comparing it to Harry Potter and Star Wars. Like the hype, scale and that feeling of like it is a one time event felt exactly what I felt with Star Wars and Harry Potter. Granted I didn't watch all Harry Potter movies but I did feel like the popularity and hype for Harry Potter was undeniable and similar. I gave Dune Part Two 5 stars on Letterboxd, it is just that good, especially in a time when we expect high budget movies to suck. Funny enough I remember on my way to the theater to watch Dune Part Two and I remember feeling it will fail. Like I know it has good reviews but I was like, "Eh, it will fail."

Okay so I won't lie I watched like the beginning and the end of your review 😅 BUT imma come back to this review after my Thursday viewing of it. Good to hear that this is an amazing IMAX watch. I just caught Tenet on Monday in 70mm IMAX and I can't wait to drive the 40 minutes again to see Dune 2. That in theatre story was wild, but I've been there before. Glad to hear you also agree that no movie, as good as it may be, is worth the risk of pushing back safety. Keep up the great videos!! I'm always watching

Yeah it wasn't ideal at all, especially for a movie this good, but that just means the I get to see the literal Climax of the the movie for the first time in a couple of days. I knew this is gonna be a masterpiece...AND IT WAS MASTERPIECE 🤩. I agree that it is slightly better from Dune Part 1 (which was also masterful) because story flows much better. Dennis Villeneueve direction is absolute masterclass, he just directs banger after banger with two Dune movies, Blade Runner 2049 or Sicario 1 (I love all of these btw.). Cinematographer Greig Fraser again knocked it out of the park with beautiful shots! I loved Frasers work on The Mandalorian, The Creator, Dune Movies, and he shot the most beautiful looking superhero movie...THE BATMAN (I was obsessed how gorgeous it looked in IMAX and on 4K Blu-Ray). Casting and Actors is perfect, music is god tier......no surprise THIS IS IN TOP 3 BEST MOVIES FROM THIS YEAR ALREADY 🤩. Can't wait for Part 3 since the ending really is like in Attack Of The Clones with battle won but war just beginning, and I can't wait 🤩

Timothee is such an exotic beautiful young actor with tremendous range and Zendaya is such a plain one note almost unattractive actor that the love story doesn't move me. She doesn't deserve him. The movie is still phenomenal with all the directorial genius and star power on display.
I get it Steve, life happens and you do what you have to do! But man...if you can just carve out a single three hour block over the next three weeks, I'd say do it. This is one of those "If you could only go and see one movie this year" type of films, and I really can't see anybody hating it. Hope all is going good man!
