HI., I don't know if this will help you but. If you look on the Main Page Just under Sequence use Bar, (How May Bars) Start (Play Head ..STARTS HERE,(PUNCH IN)( start on the Bar that you choose, End ( punch Out). To work and Record in diff sec of track
Record will erase everything on the track overdub add to the melody or drums that you recorded multiple times . If you decide to start from scratch you use record if not use overdub to build on your existing melody or drums . Start will allow for you to play your music from any section play start will always start from the beginning with is faster than hitting back or moving the marker to the beginning . I use all of the functions and I’m glad they have it because all you have to do is press a button instead of erasing, deleting and moving the marker to the beginning manually.
The playhead should not jump away from where you are working on, out of sight, please this is really bad. And why can we have features, where the playhead can be in view at all times, as the music plays. And also where the play can stay where you are working on, that when you press play, the playhead will go back to that position, these simple basic things are required to make real music, Is MPC not stand for Music Production Center?
😄😄😄
