A quick question if I am a US citizen and get an immigrant visa done for my father (he lives outside of the US) through I-130 can he work right after arriving to the US? Will the immigrant visa in his passport itself allow him to work legally? Or he will need to go through the whole process of applying for work permit etc which can take a few months up to a year.

Excellent video. Very helpful. I submitted my I-130 in 2013 for Brothers and Sisters. Now I see on the priority date that I can contact for inquiry. Should I contact them to ask for approval or I should just wait until they send me the I-797? My main question is does my asking make them issue the approval? Thanks for your help from your experience.

Thank you so much for answering my previous question. Is it OK to upload a passport ticket the NVC website that will expire in less than six months and when you show up to the interview, take your passport that you renew and has a longer expression date.

Hello, thank you so much for your help but I have a question for you please. so after I get the welcome letter from the NVC and pay the fees. If income is not eligible should the sponsor just file the affidavit of support by himself or does it have something to do with me as well, please guide me through that. Thank you so much. Hello..since we're approved in i130 but still they wanted us to send the i824 because we miss one of the question in i130..then we recieved that they are now working our case in potomac..my question is,how many months does the potomac work that case again?

Hello, please i need an answer. My mother filed for me since 2014, I am married with Children under Category five at California service center. I recently checked the progress of my status in the USCIS website, I was made to understand that I cannot submit any enquiry till July 22 2024. Is it possible for me to make enquiry earlier.? USA should be increased the Immigration Yearly VISA CAP. Married daughter and son of usa citizen and siblings of usa citizens wait 14-18 years for immigrant visa it's totally inhumanitarian .
unmarried child wait 7 to-9 years. We are requesting to usa government please reform usa immigration policies. please increase yearly visa Cap.

On Road Campaign should be arranged in USA AND lead by all petitioner who really wants their family members lived with them together in short time.

My I-130 in in Potomac, before it shows 5 months to wait after the 5 months now it showing actively reviewed then the process says is “taking longer than expected “ it been 8 months now in am a USA citizen. Please sir how long do you think it may take for the approval?

Just got approved i-130 and received the papers and indicates that i need to wait 45 days for NVC to contact me or contact the NVC if i did not receive any from them?
My question is what and how important that letter from NVC because im going on vacation and im afraid that the letter indicates i need to be in USA in person after 45 days.is it ok to go vacation while waiting for the NVC 45 days or i need to wait in USA.i really want to go vacation i miss my family😢 thank you if somebody can answer me on this scenario good bless

I filed I-130 and I-485 at the same time, I just got a letter that my I-130 for allien relative got approved. On the letter said to send a copy of this letter together with form I-485 to NVC ( I alredy filed so I guess I send a copy of my I-485 notice with a copy of my biometry and my I-130 approved) My question is: How can I find the correct address for NVC ? I thought my I-485 will be approved together with my I-130; Is this seem right for you ?? Thank you

My I-130 already approved we paid all NVC fees
The problem is applicants surname was written wrong like Tojibaeva instead it should be Tojiboeva
when we were filling I-130
and birth certificate which we were uploaded also translated like Tojibaeva
but but I-130 already approved
My question is will it be problem upcoming processes ?

I filed the Form I-130 to reunite with my son in 2020.
I additionally needed to submit Form I-824 (because I didn't provide the address on the form).
My account says they received my Form I-824...
My case was approved in 2022 and transferred to NVC.
I became a US citizen two weeks ago and I need to make a request to change my status.
I went to the NVC website and in Public Inquiry Form they are asking for a recipient number but I can't figure out which recipient number I need to enter, for the form I-130 or I-824.
The numbers are different.
Please help me understand.

So from what you said if i understood correctly they will send me information to login to nvc website and send them a welcome letter. Then what exactly is it i must do? From uscis approval it going takes approximately 1 years bit it will depends on the backlogs in I our country
