When I had this error happen and closing the game and restarting would not work, I cntrl + alt + del and opened task manager and closed the EasyAntiCheat manually and restarted the game and it worked fine again.
I have the same issue with my ps5. It's been 3 days and nothing happens..... Just says connecting..... I have searched on line but not much luck on the issue.... Only that the game is down????

I actually had that problem but when I restarted the game now, it won’t even connect to the server at all. And I don’t understand
the same with me. It says connecting all the time, but nothing happens.

I’m having the same problem on mine. It was working fine yesterday. I don’t understand this. Shit makes no sense.
If it still doesn’t work, try deleting the game and re-downloading it
As it is right now the game is absolute dog SHITE!!!
