His work and life takes courage and vulnerability to 'put it out there.' The more forbidden and difficult, he 'goes there' directly and with loving brilliance. Outside of an IDF soldier going into a tunnel, the bravest thing I’ve seen recently. And so soon after the attack! I was crying and grieving while this Schlepper was trying to think up punch lines. But seriously our number one weapon against our enemies, besides tanks, guns, fighter planes and the atomic bomb, humor. We’ve always looked for humor in any challenge and as this young man has painfully discovered, we didn’t always find it! But we keep on looking, no matter how hard it is, how hard our lives, how hard our tragedies. Am yisrael chai! L’chaim!
Keep it up man! That was probably one of the very few shows where I had moments of laughters and sadness so close to each other. Thank you! Sincerely! It's so nice to hear real empathy and dark humour that is atually good and theraputic It's fng crazy to be an Israeli that doesn't want to "Flatten Gaza" and is horrofied from hearing children scream "Death to ....". But man is it hard to keep being liberal when you witness the rest of the world from their caffes chanting "from the river to the sea..." not even knowing which river and how many deaths that chant implies. It feels so alone when my only options are people with poison and hate so deep in them that they cheer for children casualties, or basicaly people that say that I deserve to have worst inhuman acts commited to me and my children in the name of resistance and equality. The feeling of sadness followed by laughter really lightens the heart.
Stay the way as you are!
Also: Free all chickens!
That was a really courageous set to do in times like this. Great work
Wow, this is genius! Seemed so effortless, though it must have been not too easy 💪 Chapeau 🎉
I'm an european jew and have a friend who like shahak doesnt look jewish at all in fact he looks straight out of a german propaganda poster for Aryans. That's why i like to call him the Aryanjew.
From an Aussie with much love for the israeli people, you are one funny bastard!
This was fantastic! I can't wait to share it with my friends
You threaded the needle really well
This was so bittersweet. I really love you for this.
Das war richtig super, danke, Shahak
Thank you man. This is some real funny stuff. Refreshing to look at someone who isnt taking sides.
Danke, Shahak. Was für ein starkes Stück. ❤
as a german vegan i kinda want baclava now. thanks for the laughs♥️
It's all your fault 😅😅😅
I've never been this torn between crying and laughing before, but fuck it, sometimes black humor is the best way to cope. I fully support your peace plan, who needs Jerusalem ;)
Citrus notes from physically being bitter is hilarious to me. Fantastic work.

The vegan absolutely killed me.
Which is ironic.
And she isn't wrong. As usual.
@@MrMiknerShe wasn't wrong, but speaking as a vegan myself, there's a time and a place. And that was not the time and the place.

@jakes3799 Her point was exact. Sadly, most people can't make the link yet. Even Sahak missed.
Wow. I didn't know I needed that :) Bravo for doing it so well on such a topic
Thank you, Shahak. We all need a good laugh these days. ❤😢😂
Brillant! When i was start to watching i had doubts but in the end i laugh and think same time. Hello from Turkey to you guys.
Tolles Programm, tolle Haltung. Menschlich und vorbildlich. Und sogar witzig. Vielen Dank.
Thank you for this masterpiece!
I was crying and laughing at the same time - because this whole tragedy is so hard to handle.
Thank you very much!
I applaud your courage to do this set.
Crying and laughing at once, feels weird, thanks Mr Shapira.
Outside of an IDF soldier going into a tunnel, the bravest thing I’ve seen recently. And so soon after the attack! I was crying and grieving while this Schlepper was trying to think up punch lines.
But seriously our number one weapon against our enemies,
besides tanks, guns, fighter planes and the atomic bomb, humor.
Impressed to see your level of openness even given your grandfather's murder.
You know what's ironic. With all the differences there are between palestinians and israelis, both have the exact same word for humankind "bani adam"
Lol no
the word for mankind in Arabic is pasharia
❤Thankyou for Your Reaction, Peace & Happy Always.

This ist such a brilliant and courageous, sad and funny piece! And It did me so good, to hear someone talk about it like this. Thank you and respect!
Loved it - both totally unhinged and balanced. Great comments about selective humanism!

Dude you're really funny! Subbed.
As a South African, we understand using comedy as a coping mechanism.
As a south african, I had that thought too!
@@YenneY01 we don't even take it easy, like couple hours after a terrible event we are cracking dark jokes online. Remember Oscar Prestorius?
It's just great, I saw your program in Germany and I have to admit I like it better in english. Greetings to America.

American here.. War is stupid, im sick of poor and innocent dying wars for evil and old rich people.. laughter is medicine for the soul, but not as power as love..
As an israeli i must say this guy is hilarious
The best thing I have heard in the past days. Hope is back.

The "cows & chicken"-comeback was hilarious!
Thank you. For someone with no direct stakes in the situation and infected by badnewsfeeedsyndrome, I was relieved to be able to laugh guiltless. Rock on. ❤❤
I dont agree with everything you said but this was very funny and took alot of guts to just come straight out and speak your mind. Well done sir
This was so well done. THANK YOU!!!
As an Israeli I agree on Jerusalem,
I think we should trade it for Gaza
They can pray at Al aksa while we will chill on the beach
this was amazing !! thanks bruv
Thank you! Sincerely! It's so nice to hear real empathy and dark humour that is atually good and theraputic
It's fng crazy to be an Israeli that doesn't want to "Flatten Gaza" and is horrofied from hearing children scream "Death to ....".
So thank you for these wonderfull 25 minutes of levity and laughter. But never forget... What about the cows?
#ButWhatAboutTheCows
Well done! Thanks for the laugh!
Wow that’s about the most accurate non offensive way to sum it all up.
God bless you brother, thank you for this important laugh.
I am in desperate need for a laugh. 😁 And I love your humour. In fact, in such times as these, I'm surprised anybody feels like laughing. I think you are a gem and deserving of much respect. Thank you for what you do.
Such a funny, clever and good-hearted guy 👍🏻
yeah but how can they call it genocide if the strip has been consistently in a continuous baby boom
I was there the evening this was recorded and even at the parts that were cut out to make the video smoother it shorter, there was a sensitivity and respect for both sides of this conflict the whole time between the (very funny & spontanious!) jokes. Loved the way this difficult and at the time very recent topic was handled..chapeau
