Surprising someone with the news they’ve won a multi-million pound Grand Prize isn’t always an easy gig. Especially when they’re not even in the country!
Luckily, although Eliza wasn’t home when Jo and the team turned up to surprise her, Eliza’s son, Carl, was on board to give his mum the ultimate birthday surprise.
After some speedy Yorkshire pud prep, Jo revealed to Eliza over Zoom that she had, in fact, won the Yorkshire pad.
After flying back to the UK, Eliza and husband, Gokhan, met with Jo for a tour of their new luxury home. Eliza, a proud Yorkshire lass, said, “it’s great to be coming home to all of this.” And when Jo reminded the couple that they are now multi-millionaires, Eliza exclaimed, “Oh my gosh, you saying it like that has made me realise it’s changing the future.”
