250: Wawona Meadow Loop Trail - YOSEMITE with NO CROWDS (Yosemite National Park)

Join me today as we hike the easy 3.5 mile trail along the Wawona Meadow Loop. This is the perfect activitiy to avoid the busy Yosemite Valley crowds and escape the hot Summer sun. This family and dog friendly trail circles the historic Wawona Golf Course and is found right off Highway 41 near the Wawona Hotel just a few miles north of the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias.
Spring is also a wonderful time to visit to enjoy the dogwoods blooming, the creeks flowing, and the abundant wildlife, such as coyotes, black bears, and deer.
Situated 25 miles outside Yosemite Valley and just 6 miles north of Fish Camp, California, the Wawona Meadow Loop Trail is easily accessible from the historic Wawona Hotel & the Wawona General Store...each typically has ample parking and can be used as the starting point of this scenic journey. This tranquil area offers a serene escape from the busy Yosemite Valley crowds amidst the natural wonders of the park, promising breathtaking views and a peaceful stroll through picturesque alpine meadows and woodlands.
