the 'hike' to Piutte Pass will pretty much kill you off. It's not that far it just gains a couple thousand feet in a few miles. 😅 Suggest being ready to take breaks even after another 500ft. Still worth it as the trip back down to the campground is far faster. Even if you only make it halfway (been there the first few time we tried the hike...😂) it's worth the effort.

great video, professional! did you camp overnight? if so, where do you camp, on the road / off the road? What time of year did you go, any particular time of year that is recommended? I plan to go next week (12.25 thru 12.27)
