Sometimes, I have clients that ask me to engrave custom items that they purchase from various suppliers. In this case, I had a client ask me to engrave some bottle opener keychains. This gave me the perfect opportunity to create a how-to video!

I understand the process of creating the jig - can you do a video of how you set up the engraving? Meaning, process to make sure 13 of those engravings are centered into each of those locations.
How do you make them so exact? Do you utilize a camera system?

I didn’t use a camera system when I did these. I just put it in the design itself and when you put them in the jig, it lines up centered. This does depend on the items being consistent every time.

What is the bottle opener material?

I’d have to look. It’s from JDS. I think it’s just plated steel but I could be wrong. There isn’t much detail on it.
