Drop shotting for bream n bluegill

The drop shot technique usually favored by bass fishermen is becoming very popular with the panfish fishermen as well. The drop shot technique allows for perfect hook placement for both catching bream and bluegill, also it helps tremendously in keeping the fish from swallowing the hook.

I have fished that method for years, and find it very effective for bream, catfish, and shellcracker ! I use a shorter tag line for catfish and shellcracker, since they are primarily bottom feeders! It is a good fish finder rig. My favorite way to fish, because you are fishing instead of waiting!
