Fujifilm Instax Mini Evo HACK - TRANSFER WITHOUT PRINTING

  • In this video I describe a method on how to wirelessly transfer images from the Fujifilm Instax Mini Evo into your iPhone (smartphone) without the need of actually printing them first. This allows you to save money on film.
The hack consists of the following steps:
#1 - When you load your film, save the black piece of plastic that is first ejected (this is called the dark slide or protective sheet)
#2 - Once you use up all you film, save the empty film cassette
#3 - Reinsert the dark slide into the empty film cassette
#4 - Load the empty cassette with the dark slide into the camera, the dark slide will be ejected
#5 - Print any images that you would like to transfer, you will get an error after printing
#6 - But the "fake printed" images are in the printed pictures folder, you can now transfer them
    Timestamps:
    0:00 Intro
0:30 No Film = No Transfer
    1:01 Hack Attempt #1
    1:47 Hack Attempt #2
    2:55 Fooled the Camera
    3:02 Fake Printing
    3:50 Success
