Awesome DIY. Always looking for new ideas to catch bigger catfish. Will be trying this. Hope you and your family have a blessed and happy THANKSGIVING.
Jeff thanks for sharing this great informational video. Hobby Lobby has some cool stuff and when you think outside the box, you can figure out how to make all kinds of good stuff. I love all these DIY videos everyone is making. Thanks again my friend.🇺🇸
Interesting build, Jeff...very cool! I wonder though about the long term strength of the plastic tubing with the swivel wire through it. Seems like that might tear pretty quickly in a snag, or after casting it out a few dozen times.
I usually get them hung in a crappie bed long before that lol. As long as you leave a good size tab and don’t drill to close to edge they last a long time.
If the Gorilla Glue is a Cyanoacrylate (Ca glue) it will melt the styrofoam corks. Better test the glue you use or you will end up with a mess of gooey sticky gunk. I know about this from my R/C airplane building days using Ca glues on foam wings. You had to have a special spray to keep it from melting. It looks like this worked out okay BUT keep it in mind if you use any Super Glue type glue to do this with.
Good video sir--appreciate your contribution--thanks from Kansas
Thank you sir.
Great video Jeff. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and helping us become better fishermen. I'll definitely be making these. 👍👍👍👍
These are gonna be a great addition. Thanks for sharing!
Cool idea and very affordable! Thanks for sharing Jeff!
3/8 black rubber hose used for fuel lines works even better it's much tougher and it floats
Nice rig there I fish Santee cooper catfish tournaments and that rod would be something to try out.
I like the rattle idea
