Like! I have the Svbony 102/714 mm ED doublet and I like it a lot. It’s optical performance is clearly superior to the 102/1000 mm F10 achromat I used before. Also the Rack and Pinion focuser is excellent. With an aperture of 102 mm it is acceptable for DSO, but not ideal.
Interesting video. For the planets and Moon it has to be excellent maybe up to 160x magnification or even more. For galaxies and nebulas it is small but the brightest ones should be easily visible.
Yup. You spotted my dyslexia. Thanks. Changed text on this screen. Couldn't change what I said in video, though. I do have an SvBony 305 camera. Not the best.
Can you please tell he how much it weights ? I found conflicting information on the internet, on some site they say its 6.6 pounds on others 8.8 pounds.
Great set up
Thanks!

A whole lot depends on your sky.
SV503. The SV305 is a 2mp camera eyepiece. Excellent scope, btw, if you don't need an APO.

Just weighed it. Out of the box, it is 4.5 pounds. With diagonal, eyepiece and finderscope, 6.6 sounds about right.
@ thank you a lot. I’m seriously considering buying one, to use it as a grab & go scope :)
