Star Child
Wow dude. Another great photo. A++
Glad you like it!
Haven't seen any of your content in a while. Absolutely mind-blowing shot of Jupiter. Another wonderful production from the amateur astronomer
Thanks, I am still here and still learning!
@AmatureAstronomer wonderful! Be a student always!
Those are surprisingly good DSO pictures. A little more info on exposure length and processing if you could.
In January 2025, I plan on using my Celestron C6-A XLT 150mm Schmidt Cassegrain with a Hyperstar lens which reduces focal length to 300 producing f/2, I hope to be able to achieve six or seven hours of exposures in one hour. Have thus far, have only done real time stacking with Sharp Cap Pro and have done no post. As for the future?
Do you like the az gti mount ? Im thinking of getting it because I just want to save time finding objects
Yes, I like it. It is very light all I have to do is set it down facing in a general Northern direction. It takes no time to set it up. I have a couple go to equatorial mounts which take about 30 minutes to level, balance and polar align. And, I have a motorized mount which is not go to which takes about the same length of time to set up, but longer to find objects. The only bad thing about the Sky Watcher AZ GTi mount is that it is an alt/azimuth mount and suffers from field rotation for photography. So, if you are going to use it for photography, a black line appears on two sides of the photo which grow and then switch sides. The field rotation starts after 10 or 15 minutes and will eventually eat the entire photo, so I only use it for photography as a grab and go when a cloud bank is moving in and I do not have much time or when I am photographing something which only takes a few minutes, like a planet or star cluster. If you are not using it for photography the field rotation does not occur. I think I will make a review video for it.
Very nice man!
Thanks!
Superrrrrrrrrrrrr
Thanks!
What is the intégration time ?
The Moon photo is a snapshot. All the others are 5 minutes. I took them on the same night I took photos of the same targets using an Astromaster 70mm LT. I will be comparing the two, which cost the same in a video I am working on.
Oh, and no post processing. Used Sharp Cap Pro and did real time stacking.
Well done, could you try to take a picture of M42 ? By taking long exposures and stacking them (I use deep sky stacker for this) I do like 60/120 of 1min subs
I will be live stacking M42 in January using my Celestron C-6A XLT Schmidt Cassegrain (150mm SCT) with a Hyperstar 6 v4 which produce a large f/2 image. I will be taking 3 hours worth of 1 minute exposures. I will be using Sharp Cap Pro. I don't do post processing, including stacking or stretching. May some day, but right now I don't. It will be much better than the 15 minutes worth of 8 second exposures image I took with my Orion 130mm Spaceprobe @ f/5 and posted a few months ago.
"...I use deep sky stacker for this... " Just looked at your channel. No pics. Do you post your pics anywhere? Oh, and I tried and didn't like deep sky stacker. But, many like it.
Please share more videos like this one about the moon!
Thanks. Will do.
How much a telescope like that run ya?
The Celestron 70mm Travel Scope retails for $120. It comes with a 6x30 finderscope, a 45 degree rectifying diagonal, and 10mm and 25mm Plossl eyepieces. The mount is a handlebar camera mount. And, it comes with a backpack. Very, very light. Will be doing a review today and will post it soon. It is actually a terrestrial spotting scope and not designed for astronomical use or astrophotography. I took a few photos with it, because that's what I do.
thanks! I am Mintakan🙏... subscribed👍
Thanks for the sub!
Amazing 😢
Thanks.
Are the legs on the tripod round or square?
Round steel legs.
@@AmatureAstronomer Did yours come with a cell phone mount for the telescope?
No. It came with two Plossl eyepieces, a 10mm and a 25mm and a red dot finder scope.
Nice photos, sv503 is a pretty good telescope
Nice
Thanks. I do have a Celestron C6-A XLT Schmidt Cassegrain (which I am still trying to collimate), but used a doublet refractor for this photograph.
Really cool content. Keep it up 👍🏻
Thank you! Will do!
Damn bro nice👏
Thanks.
I also have a 70/700 mm achromat and Jupiter and Saturn look sharper through the eyepiece but overall very similar to the image you showed here.
Beautiful!!! I soo look forward to these videos. I would absolutely love to see the pleiades on here! I'm fully convinced the pleiades contain extraterrestrial life 👽👽👾👾
The Pleiades is an open cluster of blue white stars which is currently passing through a cloud of gas. The gas is reflecting the light from the star cluster. A reflection nebula. I posted a photo of it here on November 11, 2024. Don't know about life there.
Genialllllllll
I had a similar 70mm refractor and it was quite good. Great on splitting double stars. Showed the Great Red Spot on Jupiter. Was able to see the Veil Nebula on a dark summer sky. Yeah it's needs a better mount.
I have taken some photos with this optical tube and the Nat Geo 114mm Newtonian, using a CG-2 mount. Haven't posted them, yet. Waiting to ge a photo of the moon.
I would recommend saving for a Newtonian with a parabolic mirror and a better mount.
Orion made a 114mm Newtonian with a parabolic mirror and an equatorial mount from $180. They also had a very nice motor drive for $120. But, they went belly up. Sold stuff too cheap.
it should have a semicircular shape whith a few editional stars . . . but I don't see that in your photo, possibly because it's too "small" or too "flat"
I have a Meade 90mm F8.9 and always amazed by its capabilities. I was wondering if the Inspire mount was any good. I think a set of tube rings would be helpful to keep it balanced. Nice review.
I am not real big on handle bar mounts, but this has a rather strong one. It can handle my Sky-Watcher StarTravel 120mm f/5 refractor optical tube. As for tube rings, they are always good and with a fair long dove bar it is easier to attain balance.
Gain ?- Seg? - # lights ?
I do real time stacking in Sharp Cap Pro. Gain 350, 15 second sub-exposures, 42 minutes of subs, SvBony SV220 Dual Band Filter.
Gain? Seg? # Lights???
I do real time stacking in Sharp Cap Pro. Gain 250, 4 second sub-exposures, 10 minutes of subs, SvBony SV231 Color Correction Filter.
Wonder if the planet reflects enough light from its dim star to see?
No. But, it is large enough so that when it comes between Earth and the star, the star's illumination dims.
Beautiful 😢
Yes, it is.
Hell ya dude what a great photo
Thanks.
Nice! I love globular clusters!
Yes. They are neat. Kinda like little tiny galaxies.
@AmatureAstronomer The suburbs!🤔
This is a nice area of sky. I often aim just to the side of it to get the Tadpole Nebula.
Yes, it is. Just photographed IC 405 Flaming Star Nebula a couple days ago, but haven't posted it yet. Just below that, The Tadpoles are on my list.
Someone's motherland is somewhere there and he misses it a lot! ❤❤❤
Hola.
I'm just curious how do you know it's binary and not just behind it like really far away??
The path of a star moving around in the galaxy can be predicted using Newton's equations. If the star does not follow that path, but wobbles instead, it means there is a gravitational force affecting it. The nature of the wobble will indicate the size of the object affecting it and if there is more than one unseen object. Short answer, physics.
Wow i love your videos bro keep it up!!
Thanks, will do!
Very nice review and commentary. I just purchased the SV705c with UV-IR cut filter and plan on using it with SVBony's recommended setup of the SV550 80mm F6 telescope (with field flattener) and their filter wheel, which I also own. My question to you is: What Imaging/Guiding (control) software setup do you use? Are you using PHD2 and N.I.N.A? Or? Thanks!
Thanks. Sounds like you have a nice rig. I do EAA. I use Sharp Cap Pro. Nothing else. No guidance. No post processing. I do 4 to 8 second sub exposures at 120 to 250 gain. I have three motorized GO TO mounts, all of which use Synscan and are controlled with my cellphone. I control the cameras from my front room with a long 30' or 50' cable. I use either my 305, 705c, 405cc or 605cc camera. I have not reviewed the latter two, yet. I have about a dozen refractors, including an SVBony 80mm ED refractor, several of which I have reviewed. I use a Founders generic 0.8 reducer\corrector for all my refractors with a two inch focuser, except for my Celestron 102mm XLT f/10. I am currently using my Orion 130mm Spaceprobe Newtonian and Celestron 150mm XLT Newtonian preparing a video with photos for each along with a review of the 150mm. Once I finish with the Newtonians, I plan on using my Celestron C6-A XLT Schmidt Cassegrain with Hyperstar 4.
Thank you very much for your reply! As I'm fairly new to astrophotography, I've pretty much stuck with SVBONY's line of scopes. I think you get a lot of bang for the buck with them. Aside from the 80mm F6, I also have their SV503 102mm F7 ED Achromat and their SV550 122mm F7 APO Triplet, both of which I like a lot. I run it all on an EQ6-Pro using an ASIAIR. I did just purchase SVBONY's new SV555 Petzval, which I haven't received yet, but am really looking forward to trying out. As I'm looking to the SV555 to be a great "grab and go" scope, I'm probably going to want to look at getting a lighter mount setup. Any recommendations you'd care to share?
You do get a good bang for the buck with SvBony products. I am elderly, feeble and have a bad back. My primary mount is the medium Celestron CG-4 mount with an added Astro-Gadget GO TO motorized conversion kit. The EQ6-Pro is too heavy for me to drag out into the back garden. I also have a Sky Watcher Star Adventurer GTi computerized equatorial mount which is rather light and can handle an 11 pound pound payload. I often use it for my SvBony 80mm ED and am certain it could handle a SV555 Petzval.
Absolutely stunning!! Another wonderful production.
Thank you! Cheers!
0:10 I now noticed you said its f-10 but it actually is f-11.1
According to the Celestron web site, the "Inspire 90AZ Refractor Telescope" has a focal length of 600mm and a focal ratio of f/11. This is incorrect. Mine has a focal length of 900mm and a focal ratio of f/10. I measured it. Note that I said it had a 1000mm focal length in the video, but on the bottom of the screen, I corrected that mis-statement and said it was 900mm.
Can you please tell he how much it weights ? I found conflicting information on the internet, on some site they say its 6.6 pounds on others 8.8 pounds.
Just weighed it. Out of the box, it is 4.5 pounds. With diagonal, eyepiece and finderscope, 6.6 sounds about right.
@ thank you a lot. I’m seriously considering buying one, to use it as a grab & go scope :)
🤔 What do you think about when looking up into space?
The photo I am taking and the work involved. Occasionally, if I see something unlike anything I have seen before, I am amazed.
Amazing
Thanks
Question Have you ever witnessed a space anomaly, something you can't explain?
No.
@AmatureAstronomer thank you for responding
I can only imagine the Incredible sites you see. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Amazing I appreciate your dedication and for sharing your photos. Kudos
My pleasure 😊
pretty nice bro)
Thanks 🔥
