      @hakshustletv 4 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Yeah but if you compare it to rentals it's an incredible deal, what you may pay in 2-3 days renting you'll pay monthly, the cost is you have to front a nice chunk of the money, but 2800 or so a month is still a huge some. I mean that's around £400 more than my car and mortgage rent but to be fair it's not supposed to be for everyone.

      @@nelsongeada4930 That's another factor true. This is just like a basic figure without getting into detail but of course it'll be much more expensive, when you break it down it'll probably be closer to over 3k a month excluding the balloon payment which if you like the car and have the money by all means go ahead but to me that's a little much even for those who are doing fairly decent like 5 figures a month decent.

      If you buy the car and put the same amount of miles on it, you would lose $75k in depreciation. On top of financing it, you can depreciate the car and write off quite a bit off your taxes. So learn how it works before you comment on it. Also most of these are open-ended leases, there is hard mileage limit.

Think of running a business and the overheads of renting an office etc. As a youtuber these are pure overheads. The cars bring back the cash.

    • @AlexanderHouldsworth
      @AlexanderHouldsworth 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Yeah, and I'm pretty sure that depreciation is considered a tax write off to a certain extent and so is the 'interest' on a loan. So for a business youtuber, or anyone making money from financing a car, it makes sense to do interest only.
      It's dumb though, because If you buy an Aventador S for £200K with a £50K downpayment, its £750 per month interest only, which paul says is a great deal, but you could use that £50K as a downpayment on a £250K house, which interest only would be ~£200/month, but you could probably rent out for around £1-1.25K. So its £750 outgoing vs £1000 incoming each month and thats not even including capital growth of the property, which would probably also be around £1K in most up and coming areas. so £750 outgoing vs. £2K income. It only makes sense to do this, if you can make money from the car (e.g. youtube) or you are just daft as anything. (figures approximate, housing based at 6% rental yield and 6% capital growth). Not taking into account maintenance cost on the cars, depreciation costs, stress. Everyone I know who's owned a supercar has regretted it and only done it for novelty for a year or two.
      I know what I'd rather..

    Btw, don't forget to add insurance, petrol and maintenance to the monthly payments and the depreciation...as well as garaging/storage. Pretty sure you'll at least double the interest-only payments without taking depreciation into account. As for some cars not losing any money, maybe if you ignore all the monthly costs. As for others appreciating, IMO the market is very unlikely to go higher and is more likely headed for at least some downward correction...maybe even a crash.

    The interest only loan is only good if you buy a used car that has done most it’s depreciation. Plus no one really keeps the car after the loan so they can pay the large balloon payment at the end of the term. For example, you buy an R8 that is 80,000. You put down 20,000 and pay 450 per month for 3 years. At the end of the term your ballon is 53,000. If the car is worth more let’s say 60,000 you will get to pay the ballon off and have 7k back from your deposit to put into a new car. All cars depreciate regardless. Just comes down to how much depreciation one person can deal with.

    • @Zed_Zone

    I'd like to know the total costings after say 24months of driving to asses the actual cost?
    24x £745 = £17,880.00 plus circa £40,000.00 loss from depreciation.
    Total costs for 24months ownership excluding insurance & runnings costs = £57,880.00
    divide this by 24 to give you a monthy cost/loss of £2,411.66 or £79.29 per day for 730 consecutive days.

The general Lamborghini market is currently tanking , there will be a huge glut of SVJs and Av S coming up for sale in 9 months time when the flippers suddenly realize that what they thought would be a quick profit has turned into a negative equity ohhh shit moment and they need to bail at any cost. My sincere advice is... stick where you are with the Murci and see where the market is in 2 years time.

    Considering how much of a Ferrari killer the Huracan Performante was, and considering how much time you've spent in one, that would be the better choice, especially considering the events and journeys you have.
