I think a huge problem is the amount of people using these apps as promotion for either social media or OnlyFans/‘premium Snapchat’/some other online sexual service. Like regardless of where you stand on the question of prostitution/sex work, these apps aren’t made for that, it’s not supposed to be backpage or seeking arrangements. So I think one initiative these apps should take is being more militant in banning people who are only using the service for that, taking reports like that seriously, and maybe even developing changes in the algorithm to be able to spot and preemptively restrict accounts that show signs of being solicitation accounts (like only fans literally being in the bio).
I agree with you! Possibly could be in the pipeline that when you connect your Instagram to Tinder, it crawls your link in bio or associated accounts for that kind of content. Thanks for your message :)

They need a better system of detecting fake profiles. 90% of interactions aren't real people in my opinion.

Great idea with matches disappearing, I really think it'd make people get a few select matches and respond to them more, rather than just ghost.
