However, I think it is important to point out it is NOT intellect that makes finding God difficult. It is pride, and pride alone.
It does stem from them choosing to be an intellectual though. The Holy Spirit led me to tell someone that. Meaning they choose to put their faith in Science, and earthly wisdom and knowledge. Oppose to putting their faith in Christ and His word. Yes. Pride, arrogance, and ego can be behind that as well.

I pray that God will give you the grace to withstand the devil even in evil days and that God will deliver you from all that hinders, grieves, and disquiets your soul. Just like the doctor said, sometimes God doesn't always deliver us from situations immediately because He wants us to trust Him throughout the process. I remember God took time to heal me and I begged for instant deliverance and it didn't happen but took time. I can tell you I'm glad now He took the long route it was better for me in the long run

I had the same issue and God led me to a deliverance conference and had a wonderful lady he used to deliver me. I don't know where you live but in Arizona they have a wonderful deliverance center called Hardcore Christianity. Look them up on line and they can talk with you over the phone. We as humans forget that all things are revealed, all things are resolved in Divine Time (His time). The way I think about it is, you can’t graduate with a diploma until you’ve put all the work in that’s needed…all the ceu’s in this course and that class, etc.. What are ceu’s - they’re nothing but time spent on a particular subject matter. Once we’ve learned the lessons and passed with a satisfactory grade, it’s only then can we move on! But you can’t be impatient and jump from preschool to college - it doesn’t work that way. We MUST trust our teacher; God and Jeshua and Jahweh are our teachers. God is a Trinity, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. He is the Whole Package, so to speak. We pray to the Father, through the Son, and in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Why is there such a culture in the Middle East & India of throwing acid in people’s faces? In all the horrible stories, I’ve never heard of the perpetrator being properly punished.

He was an educated man who could read and write, so it's not a matter of another author who wrote a book named after someone else. Read "Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus" by Nabeel Qureshi. (A devout Muslim encounters Christianity). It is an amazing book.
