Have you ever wondered what it looks like from the swimmer's perspective? I lived up to my name, and quite literally went inside synchro at the French Open a few weeks ago! Take a peek at the hard work that goes on below the surface for some of the top athletes in the world during training.

I would love it if there were like 200 more of these. I was never into synchro as a sport until the underwater camera at Tokyo this year - it's so much more interesting in three dimensions!

It looks so graceful watching it above the water, but it looks so chaotic and yet somehow still synchronised and graceful under the water.

It is very admirable so much skill that a human being can manage, a total control in the amazing water ... it is one of the most beautiful sports that I like and I hope the Tokyo Olympics, to be able to enjoy such skill.

I always wondered how they stayed perfectly on beat with the music as they’re splashing around a big pool of water but I see now they have someone hitting some type of tool to the beat of the song that I assume makes a drum-like sound under water. What are those things called that the girl is using at 2:20?

This takes more practice then training for baseball ⚾️ basketball 🏀 soccer ⚽️ 🥅 etc…omfg not only do they hold there breath for long but also move around which would make ur breathing even more faster and harder to hold. But to top It off it off the strength you need to maintain your self Floating for the 💃 dance 💦 and even holding your mates all the way up while still floating omfg not enough words to explain how amazing these girls are they deserve everything good that comes for them! They definitely have a bright future! 🏊🏻‍♀️🏊🏼‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🤸🏻‍♂️🏊🏾‍♀️🏄🏻‍♀️🥇🏆🤽🏻‍♀️🎼🧘🏻‍♀️🤿

How can they even hold there breath for as long as they do with doing all the movements as fast as they are. It takes so much energy and breath out of you that you can't just suck up a breath of air underwater.

Hi, great question. To be more specific is a whole sport. A competitive one. Synchronized swimming is about expressing, is artistic. Of course, is pretty difficult and a team is harder. Is beautiful, risky, amazing, surprising and extreme. That is why people like me, do it.
