I loved seeing him in this since the Friday Night Lights days. And THAT scene on the boat left my jaw dropping. Mike Flanagan never disappoints I swear
Episode 5 was perfection, it absolutely broke my heart yet felt extremely relatable (telling someone you tried as much as possible and sorry it wasn't enough). I immediately rewatched the episode before moving on with the test because it gutted me so much and then it kept playing in my head the following days as I was watched Hill House and then Bly Manor. I binged Midnight Mass, Hill House, and then Bly Manor over the course of 3 days and I cried so much that I triggered a severe migraine attack that lasted for several days even without my migraine medications and it was worth it because I don't remember the last time something fictional I watched that really made me think and feel. I can't wait for whatever is next.
What a great series, I really enjoyed it. I didn't know anything about it until I saw your review, Perri, and your review made me really want to see it. I'm so glad I did. Plus, when I heard the man, QB 7 was in it...I was sold!

I loved watching Zach fidget with the cuffs of his shirt through the series just like he did on FNL. Don't know if that was a coincidence but it definitely stood out to me.
I felt like for Riley it was 💯 impossible for him to even consider harming someone on purpose when he could not cope at all with having harmed someone accidentally. It just wasn’t ever on the table for him.
I’m amazed there’s such a thing as chemistry readings for when they’re still auditioning roles. Because if that’s the case, how did George Lucas keep the pairing of Natalie Portman and Hayden Christensen? They had zero chemistry
I hope Zach joins the flanaverse and we get to see him in future projects. He brings a really fresh energy

The actors on Mike Flanagan shows are top-notch! He gives them these long monologues and they deliver each and everytime, and with emotional gravitas.

The 'who's Jim' part resonates with me so much. Seems like something I'd fixate on too for no reason.
Midnight Mass is such a heavy show, it's so fun to watch the cast members make fun of each other
