That drumming tho 😍
Modernwarhero YES
Yep seether!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes..especially the chorus
Nah more like the "aaaWOOOO" THING BRO
I'm more addicted to the vocals, every aspect of this song is great.
This song isn't about relationship troubles or bullies, it's about self loathing. Shaun is singing about how he hates himself for not living up to his standards and constantly fucking up, lying to himself that he's a success and that he HAS lived up to his standards. The chorus is about him asking his friends to help save his legacy before it's too late. As a really harsh self loather, I can definitely connect with this song. One of the best songs I've heard in a while.
@TheMovieDoctorful honestly I thought it was about Fascism since lyrics like “Keep me guessing, Keep me Terrified,” and of course “Words are Weapons of the terrified,” kinda hit beats of how dictators use their power and influence of words to control and to manipulate media to scare and confuse them to maintain it. Or that’s what I got from it when I first listen to this song.
Is there even an alternative to self loathing? Half joking
Shaun frequently writes as if he's talking to a woman who shattered him, without seeing your perspective, I've always felt he was talking to a woman who messed up his world (either real or imagined)
He's talking about his expectations of the humans that reared him!
Every time I listen it's to something different, today, this song is for The Church.
I cannot stress enough as to how perfect this song is. It's so beautiful and meaningful it is. They deserve so much credit and recognition than they already have.
Totally love this album.
The only album in history that each and every song is awesome listening material 👍x million
@@hi.evry1 HEY WAIT A MINUTE! Only album in history? I mean ... subjective preferences can differ wildly no doubt about it, but there has to be more than just this album that pleases you throughout :) if i may suggest; I really got hooked on Porcupine Tree when i first discovered them. Still one of my all-time favorites (just like Seether). Maybe you would enjoy checking out "Deadwing" or "In Absentia". Both are really great porcupine tree albums and a good choice to get started with before exploring the rest of their discography. A single song to get started with would be "the start of something beautiful" or "she's moved on (deadwing version)" ...oh yeah, it's not post grunge but progressive rock. I hope you enjoy. They have some really magnificently arranged songs :)
@@hi.evry1 sorry to bother you again xD but there is this awesome album, filled with supersmooth ballads recorded by a band that actually makes progressive death metal. The album is named "damnation" by "Opeth". You're missing out if you dont give it a try, trust me bro ;D
2024 and more applicable than ever. Great music like this transcends time.
If you seeing this your taste in music is 🔥
no u
The 510 who did the thumbs down, you have zero taste in music. 5 yrs later and I still jam to this 🤘🏼
Yea but I prefer there old stuff to this is still good

I agree girl this song hits home so many times to the way I've been done and the way these certain women made me feel it's two thumbs up for me seether rocks balls!!
_This song kind of reminds me of a majority of the songs on _*_Finding Beauty in Negative Spaces_*_, which was my favorite album._
True. It specifically reminds me of Rise Above This.
It's also kinda like Fake It
I didn't know the name of this song so I just searched "Seether awoo" and this was the first result lol
🤪😘
Hahaha that's fuckin great ! Sounds just like me lol
Dude thats literally what i just did
It’s amazing that TH-cam actually knew the song you were talking about.
Sounds kinda like me lol, I searched “seether- something beautiful to say”
One of the most underrated seether songs.
100/100
Never cease to amaze me.
Heard this song on Octane today, and fell in love. Add another song to the streak. I don't dislike one Seether song.
Octane... on Dish?
That's a fantastic channel, I must say.
Indeed it is. I was working on some art projects, and didn't feel like using my ipod, so just put that channel on.
I was satisfied. Discovering music from bands i know, and new bands as well.
The newer bands are iffy. Some of them are okay, but others are absolutely amazing.
That's how I found We As Human.
StevenSixx
i listen to octane on SXM radio.
Too bad they completely stole it from Tears for Fear's track "Mad World..."
Been A Fan of Seether from the start..Not going to stop now, not EVER! \m/ \m/

Quick Reminder
SAME
Someone said that the melodies to this song is addictive, and it is.
The melodies to this song is very soothing to my ear and brain, I don’t know what it is but the melodies in the verse and chorus is very soothing.
EARGASM!!! EARGASM!!! EARGASM!!! Thank God for the greatest band of all time!! SEETHER!!
Ynw melly and seether
Squirt squirt squirt
ladies and gentlemen, rock music isn't dead :')
Rock music will live forever:')
Brian DiCaprio those bands are okay.
Brian DiCaprio
Royal Blood is another band I've had my eye on lately.
supersonicgirl Oh yeah, they're really good! Eagerly awaiting more from them!
Cody T Okay? They're some of the best names in music in the last 20 years.
Every time time I hear new seether I'm always more impressed then I expect I will be. Great song
Song reminds me of what my father had gone through with before and after the divorce. I have nothing but respect for that man after all that he went though all those years ago...
You're legacy will live on forever with this piece right here
This is what it is to be human
This song deserves to win the grammys
God, this was driving me nuts! I could never hit the radio station when they'd say who played this song! Finally!!!
DraccoKnightblade Same here. Took me a year
lmfao all you had to do is listen to a few lyrics and Google them
Hey dipshit, the few times I heard it I was not around a pc. Should I carry a notebook around with me next time so I remember?
[Intro]
All I really want is something beautiful to say
All I really want is something beautiful to say
[Verse 1]
Keep me locked up in your broken mind
I keep searching, never been able to find
A light behind your dead eyes
Not anything at all
[Pre-Chorus 1]
You keep living in your own lie
Ever deceitful and ever unfaithful
Keep me guessing, keep me terrified
Take everything from my world
[Chorus]
Say can you help me right before the fall
Take what you can and leave me to the wolves
[Verse 2]
Keep me dumb, keep me paralyzed
Why try swimming? I'm drowning in fables
You're not that saint that you externalize
You're not anything at all
[Pre-Chorus 2]
It's oh, so playful when you demonize
To spit out the hateful, you're willing and able
Your words are weapons of the terrified
You're nothing in my world
[Chorus]
Say can you help me right before the fall
Take what you can and leave me to the wolves
[Bridge]
All I really want is something beautiful to say
Keep me guessing, keep me terrified
All I really want is something beautiful to say
You keep living in your own lie
All I really want is something beautiful to say
To never fade away, I wanna live forever
All I really want is something beautiful to say
To never fade away, I wanna live forever
[Middle 8]
You keep living in your own lie
Keep me guessing, keep me terrified
All I really want is something beautiful to say
All I really want is something beautiful to say
[Chorus]
Say can you help me right before the fall
Take what you can and leave me to the wolves
[Outro]
All I really want is something beautiful to say
Words are weapons of the terrified
All I really want is something beautiful to say
Keep me guessing, keep me terrified
All I really want is something beautiful to say
To never fade away, I wanna live forever
All I really want is something beautiful to say
To never fade away, I wanna live forever
Don't really care for the very beginning but the song itself is sick as fuck.
It sounds so much better when you start it at 0:09 Maybe for the album they'll leave that part out?
no words for how incredible this song is, all I can say is it’s just better than nearly anything else
This is one of the best songs ever!!!!!!! I can't believe anyone would dislike this song! They can just go like their stupid rap/hip hop somewhere else!!!!
Yea :3
I dont care xD its still good o3o
Oh looks like someone is generalizing hip hop :) you've made a VERY ignorant statement. You just listened to modern crap. That's all
o3o
same! :D
I first heard this song when I went through a bad breakup. I wasn't feeling it at the time. Years later with the hate gone I can now appreciate the song
The meaning of this song to me is about the used, abused, then discarded. The details in the melody as well, the mention of wolves, and the howling in the background.🔥 never a disappointment the way the band hits the soul.
Lyrics are so damn relevant to today.
Going to see them live on Saturday at Carolina Rebellion :D hopefully they will sing this song.
i was gonna go but things came up:/ BUT i will be at the meyhem in atl GA in august
They were amazing at rebellion. I hated my spot tho I could barely see where I was
I was there too. They were okay. It was hard to see. Killswitch was awesome and Rob Zombie too.
I watched about half of killswitch before going to anthrax and both of those was great. I think rob zombie did the best tho. I waited close to 2 hours for zombie in the same spot because I was lije really close and didnt want to lose my spot
did they play this song. I'm going to see them on the 20 in Minneapolis. would like to hear this live.
Stay strong everyone😢🤍. My prayers for all of you broken soles. Pray for mine🤍 this song means a lot.
Funny this song fits perfect with how i feel today with a person I've been trying to help & took then in just to be betrayed? Trying to help others seems to come with hurt & betrayal anymore.): & I'm trying to find nice words to make them understand how what they have said&did is wrong! &Hopefully it sears in their memory one day! Great song as always! Thanks for posting!
EVER SINCE THE STUDIO PREVIEW, IVE BEEN ANTICIPATING THIS SONG. AS EXPECTED ITS AMAZING!!
To the ones who put dislike. You need to be put in prison. There is no such word like DISLIKE for Seether ever. The band which I am always following and it never fails to entertain me :) Nice one Seether - good song
Don't you worry, The 11 dislikes are biebers 11 last fans. So it's not like their opinions matter nor do they have taste which is obvious.
***** Your comment is stupid. How could I dislike this if I have Seether song in my own videos? :D
Armins Slisans Liking a band does not mean all songs are automatically good. This one is decent in my book, because it sounds like so many things they've done before, but nothing to give it the oomph and wow factor IMO.
***** I am not English and I know my English is not perfect. But now tell me how many languages do you speak and then we will decide who is smart in here :)
***** Well done! Keep learning
Am glad im not the only one who hears mad world in this song
Yeah I hear it too o3o
Yep, I heard it, too. My wife was listening to it to buy the album and I stopped her and said thats Mad World. Yeah, Gary Jules need to get a lawsuit together on this.
Yee but Gary Jules did make the song I think it was tears for fears who originally made it
didnt*
bob barker pretty sure that's a Tears for Fears song

You forgot Let You Down
Update?
@@adynharpermusic I know I'm late but Let You Down is on their other album, Poison The Parish
I think this is my favorite Seether song to date! The lyrics in this song are killer!
Love this song. Thanks for this during hard times.
This song relates to me since words are more powerful and damaging than any weapon created by our hands in our time of this world, plus I know for a fact that my words can inflict the deepest wounds upon the soul on everyone who does get under my skin.. **I roar up to the sky crying** 😭😭
Can't wait to hear this live
This single is gold. I think it's gonna be a big hit. Can't wait for the new album.
Seether rocks. .. total burnnnnn
Yooo this song brings back a good memory. I heard this at our local country fair a few years back with my old friend when we were in this spinning ride and I remember how energetic it made me feel. Aah nostalgia
Awesome!!! , am i the only one that was waiting this song since hearing the preview 2 video???
Omg seether just keeps me loving them more and more ....
There are just a few bands that I could listen to forever. Blue October, Seether, Pink Floyd, Def Leppard, and Bad Company haha. Any of their songs come on, the volume goes up and the head starts rocking to the rhythm.
Rock and metal lives on!
I hope that everyone here is okay. Please be safe and remember that people care about you, even if it may not feel like it sometimes. If you are feeling troubled, maybe professional help is the answer, or talking to a trusted friend about what you are going through. I wish you all the best.
Love this song can't wait for the new album seether rules
Circa 2014 I listened this for first time
But not , never was the last time, what a song
Underrated band ❤️
Freakin love this song!
Heard this on the radio and thought it was catchy... I'm so happy that I happened to remember the song name and who its by :)
This is one of the most powerful songs I've ever heard from Seether. It truly touches your heart if you really want to leave a mark on the world but the world just fights back at every moment.
This is the perfect conversation in the mind of a Gemini... its like my 2 halves having a conversation.
Same for me as a Libra, both perspectives.
I'm strangely connected to this song. I know people that act like they help me when I need it, but you know "your not that saint that you externalize". Just thought it rang a bell
Those drums 🔥🔥
Simple but effective.
Seether is officially back. What a song. Love it.
To never fade away....
Once I think that this band is going to sell out like most bands, they continue to impress me, good job guys.
Not a huge Seether fan, but this song is great
I sensed a grungy almost Nirvana-ish type sound coming from this song, and it only pulled me closer to it. Loved it so much!
All of their stuff is like that. Mostly the Disclaimer II album is so Nivana-ish it's unbelievable.
Holy shit! That was damn good. Can't wait!
One of my favorite songs by them!! I listen to it all of the time
Great song, reminds me of "Gone Away" by The Offspring
i think it has a feeling of "Mad world"... listen and you hear it.
Mitch Mull
me too !! I was like, damn this sound like.. shit! it's mad world :O
My favorite band! I saw them live recently. Glad they're still together and making new music. Shaun is a true artist and has a fantastic voice. I hope he is taking good care of it.
AWESOME!
I love death metal more than anything but I'll always come back to seether.
Прекрасная работа! Ребят - вы молодцы :)
Всё ещё нравится? Таки шесть лет уже прошло:)
@@wangzhao2197 всё ещё нравится
yeah...my gf was watching the video for this song other day, i was laying in bed..and it started playing, she didnt even have it up that loud and i sat up and i was like OMG NEW SEETHER!? she looked at me like..yeah...made my day!
i was kinda dissapointed with fray, dont get me wrong that album has some amazing songs on it, but it is such a lesser rock sound than previous albums, esp the first 2, and while there are def some rocking songs, it just was a different sound, songs like country song i think were just made for mainstream airplay, which is unavoidable if you want to continue to be a band and make money to support yourself, but i always felt the first albums were much more about the music and they had more soul/heart to them, lyrically and fundamentally they had inspiration
almost every band that i love today, has that moment where they get into a mainstream mentality, producing music for the masses, once they become famous, seether hasnt quite gotten that bad, but i definitely hear it last album and maybe this song even, to early to tell for rest of the album but i know i will love it still
i LOVE this band, like every song is freaking amazing, i sing their songs EVERY day...but...i cant shake the feeling that they have changed so much, and i guess it has to happen, to constantly evolve as an artist, nothing can be done, and such is life...
but I'm super excited about new music from seether, i have missed a few concerts this past year i could of seen them live again, seen them live a few times, but i wont be missing them on their next tour, for sure.
I have associated the sound of seether with a particular bitch that has haunted me for years, every new song sounds like its about her now again.............I am hooked again
I know man, it's weird huh? Wonder if Shaun is plagued by some particular bitch?
***** jeez how long ago was that? shit I can't say nothing lol I know what's like to be catch up on a bitch that's done moved and forgotten your name lol been there down that got the T shirt and everything, it's a waste of spirit and energy
William Canaday
I doubt he's still plagued by her. They both got over all of that shit like a year after CMWYS. They are grown ups after all. She's married and having a family, and he probably has someone too (Haven't heard to much of Shaun so forgive me if I'm wrong)
RavenEvanescence Yes I believe he has far moved on from Her cause it was all about her listen to Breakdown and Fake it from Seether and HER punch was "call me when your sober and lithium" so glad HER band has made it too the easy listening channels with John Tesh. Yes she moved on marrying a life long friend and therapist. Wasn't that sweet and they are having a baby this year. He has moved on His oldest daughter Jada was before HER with his then wife in South Africa since there lovely split He has had a son named Bowie and another daughter Gracielee. Broken is not a love song to Amy it was written for his oldest daughter when he had to come to the states and so is The Gift. Lots of songs written for the label he wanted out of and NOW is YES album coming out on July 1st will be Seether's first with their new label. So lets not live in the past all his dark songs are not about HER..SEETHER ROCKS. And this new album will be awesome...your not wrong Raven just some info for William. I am a huge Seether fan look like a Wal-Mart mom,43and a thick chic but their music heals me. So sorry Raven I don't like HER she can Sing and write and play well but she only plays in her sandbox with who she wants and Nobody else. This is a observation before Shaun and got worse after Shaun. Terry is the only one who has weathered the years. No hating just don't like fake people.
You guys have saved my life in a time of crisis I wasn't alone because I had isolate and medicate album and listened to it over and over again ty
I don't hear mad world I hear words as Weapons
Just go to see them live last weekend! They played this song and tons others it was great!!!
Isso é vida! Perfeição! :3
Seether just has the best lyrics of any band.. Can't wait for the full album June 1!!!
I am not a musician so I don't really know but the drumming on this sounds incredible.
A part of this song makes me think about "Mad World" by Gary Jules for some reason. Just something shaun does with his voice.
You're right, in the verses Shaun's vocal melody follows almost the exact same melody in "Mad World."
Yep, same chord progression. It's one of the most interesting songs this band has written musically, which is a good thing because I thought they were playing it safe on the last full lenght.
that's immediately what I thought!!! Then I scrolled down and read the comments, glad it's not just me!
i thought the same. had the song mad world in my head
C'mon, guys,it doesn't metter. This song is great. We can find similarity in most of songs. But it doesn't make them less great, if it's not a complete plagiarism.
I can hear "Mad World" in this.
I love this song, Seether just keeps getting better and better.
I heard this on the radio this morning and for a second I thought it was Mad World, part of it does sound a little like it.
Taking cues from a kick-ass song like Mad World is smart. Seether made it their own with the melodic vocals. Another perfect song by a great band.
So what ? :))
Not bad at all.
Seether you will NEVER disappoint me!!
Seether is in one simple word "AWESOME"
Saw seether before they were even seether when i was like 12 in Gauteng.... been hooked since!!!! true lyrics, true talent, true people!!!! i play it fucken loud
Viciante! :3
This is one of my favorite songs by Seether ❤️
Am I the only one who thinks of Gary Jules version of Mad World when I hear this?
+Kella Lynch (LPSrocksTV) Nope. You are not alone! When I first heard this song, I kept hearing "Mad World." Not so much anymore.
I тнoυgнт тнe ѕaмe thing
it reminds me of it. I love both songs. I think they're beautiful in their own way.😄
First heard this song last year, rocking to this song and the rest of seethers music every singe
Será que sóu o único brasileiro áqui e o único assistindo em 2019?
Sim.
They say there is so much music out there right now, almost every song has a twin song with the same vocal or instrumental tune.
Parts of this remind me of Mad World for some strange reason.
I was thinking the same thing. The melody of his voice during the verses made me think of it.
Yeah I thought the same thing when I heard this yesterday.
Sounds like love ! Melody is everything
My favorite song by Seether
Satan, can you help me right before the fall?
That is what it sounds like he's saying. Bad ass song though.
Say, "Can you help me?" right before the fall
Take what you can and leave me to the wolves
it looks a lot better in words than it sounds in a song lol
Majin Vegeta Nah. I like asking satan for help more.
well have fun with that
Majin Vegeta Satan is the God of this world, he rules all of our nations, he created this world.
Proudly South Africa! Julle fokken weet dit!
Seether is probably the best rock band out there today
I LOVE ROCK,SEETHER is A GREAT BAND...I LIKE THIS
SONG.
These guys are amazing how they keep getting better and better
Cant wait for rock on the range seether! I hope you play this song!!!
Holy shit youtube. What's with all this ad spam? Greedy bastards.
What is ad block?
cat skinner What is malware spam. >.> All good now though. :P
ad block is god
PxWorldWide I bet, but some people need those ad's to keep what they've got going. Not that all of them deserve it, but some do and that should keep you from using it.
Michael S ad block plus mate
That's the beauty of music u can take it wherever you want future past it's how you feel about it
I can hear mad world but the music is different and has its own beauty to it...got to love seether
Anyone else feel like this has a mad world feeling to it?
Heard most of this album it's good but if they're ever gonna match there best work (karma) they need another guitarist
Yeah, this one kinda sucks...
Seether is the sh*t. Can't ever get tired of this band. I don't mind the intro to this tune. Guess they're "Fine Again." FINE=Fu#*ed Up. Insecure. Neurotic & Emotional.
Anyone else think this sounds like Gary Jules version of mad world? Just slightly?
Definitely. The first time I heard this one of the first things I thought was that they should do a cover of that song.
Yea EXACTLY Mad World is one of my favorite songs, I guess that's why I LOVE this one so much :3
Can't wait to see this song love at Rock On The Range next week
This song is always stuck in my head since I've hear it. Seether is good for that! Love them!
