    More and more enlightened beings are speaking out and this is because there is a greater awakening happening as a Collective rather than an individual~ so many individuals are willing to break silence to push the entire collective towards enlightenment.
    Just look at TH-cam and you will see so many speaking out about their experience hoping in some way to help others.
    This is the Collective reaching equilibrium perhaps.
    In other words, his last words is coming true and it’s wonderful!

      this is not an "enlightenment" this is only a "hallucination" or "illusions" . The "enlightenment" is only pertaining to " Lord Buddha", who takes birth every after 2,525 years on this earth. who is only 'care taker -maintainer -balancing' of this earth planet and also been balances all the other planets where the life is existing, about 45 planets. And also who knows about whole existence of the "universe" after his "enlightenment" on particular planet.

    I heard this story of ramakrishna parahamsa, once a kid was asking around what is meditation to his parents and their parents could not exactly find the answer to it so they bought him to paramhansa and then the kid asked the same question to him.... so paramahansa told the kid to eat chapati or something and told the kid to also count the amount of chapati's paramahansa eats when ever paramahansa says "stop" while kid also ate it simultanously with him. So then paramahansa said "stop" and asked the kid to count how many chapati's he ate and kid answered it as he finished his own food. And then paramahansa replied saying "while you were eating your own you also counted mine, meditation is like this, while you concentrate on your works while also keeping in mind God then it is meditation" or so he says. No solution ever attained from materialism of senses alone will ever lead to an objective growth or towards purpose. It only puts mankind into am hamster wheel of deception. God works through natural occurences, understanding the implied intentions and meanings of those occurences through reason is spiritual growth. This material world is just a means or method to perceive that, like how vessel is needed to hold the water, body acts as a means for a purpose of spiritual growth

    • @Dharmicaction
      @Dharmicaction 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Easier said than done. It is the reason why divine avatar Krishna in Baghavad Gita gives several pathways for "enlightenment" NOT just meditation. eg Karma yoga, Bakthi yoga, Jnana yoga. What aadhguru prescribing here is what he could achieve - Dhyana yoga (meditation yoga). But his pre-programmed karma is to achieve that. But to prescribe the same pathway for everyone is not acceptable

    • @csgstormer
      @csgstormer 5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@Dharmicaction you could be right. I was just pointing out one of the many many many - countless really - paths to self-realization. Thank you for engaging with me.
      Sadhguru is a fully realized master however there are masters even further advanced than him. Not that it matters too much but the paths he discusses in his talks and his book "Mystic's Musings" resonate with me as they have specifically lead to my experiences of samadhi before I even knew what spirituality is (let alone Sadhguru or any Indian philosophy).
      My favorite teaching that rings true for me is just that enlightenment is really not that complex or even difficult. It's a very simple process of willing to throw your life away for the Ultimate - and the ultimate can literally be anything that means the most to you. He says this explicitly that chasing "enlightenment" or some explosive experience will not lead to the real thing, it will just lead to hallucinations. Out of reverence, hopelessness and joy pursue what you see as the highest and the highest will not be denied to you.
      This is what least to my experience of Samadhi - being in Yoga. However neither my body nor my mind were prepared to hold this cup of bliss for more than a few minutes at a time. At 16 years old I had no clue what was going on with me. Much like Sadhguru I asked my friends about it and they did not know what I was talking about either. With no guru and no guide I fell away from God-realization. Only now after starting a family and having a beautiful daughter am finally coming back to the path.
      Blessings to you for reading this,
      All the best,
      Chase Gielda

    Tell me if I am mistaken this is what I took from this: full enlightenment means no desires and you are free from the physical. The “enlightenment” some have and some work towards is being free from the physical but it must involve holding onto a conscious desire eg. helping people, otherwise you leave your body as you are not connected to this world anymore.

    • @hs0022
      @hs0022 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I think there is no “half” enlightenment. Either you are enlightened or you are not. You can’t miss it. It’s that big.
      On the other hand opening the third eye which is a step before the final stage of enlightenment can be subtle and gradual and may take a few years.
      Everything we do in our daily life is driven by desire. The desire comes from the mind and body realm. Mind is the mass accumulated from heaps of impressions and memories gathered throughout our life cycle and body is that of food and rest and time.
      Once you are free of these two realms you are ready to be enlightened. You won’t see color in people anymore and you won’t be influenced by superficial beauty of others around you. Everyone will seem the same - a spiritual but unrealized entity to you.
      You won’t be governed by the ordinary laws of psychology any more. You may not cry or grieve for the loss of a dear one because you will see beyond the physical bond they had with you.

      The gap between our thoughts is shiva or purusha or soul or athma or consciousness or brahman according to vedic metaphysics. Moksha means to become one with the cosmos. It also means matter or universe and our true self (athma or soul) cannot be separated. Only thing disappears in moksha is our independent existence or individual ego identity. But laws of karma play an important role here. Even an iota of likes and dislikes lead to reincarnation. So, beware of karma or cause and effect
      Divine avatar Krishna in Baghavad Gita gives several pathways for "enlightenment" NOT just Dhyana yoga or sanyasa yoga. There are other pathways such as eg Karma yoga, Bakthi yoga, Jnana yoga. What aadhguru prescribing here is what he could achieve - Dhyana yoga (meditation yoga). But his pre-programmed karma is to achieve that. But to prescribe the same pathway for everyone is not advisable. It is also not advisable to tell people not to read vedic source of knowledge and wisdom.
      So, the pathway for enlightenment is highly subjective and it depends on a person's pre-programmed karma (based on past lives) which shapes both the mindset or guna and situations and circumstances of a person.
      According to divine avatar Krishna in Baghavad gita, even a glimpse of our true self (which is turiya state or 4th state of consciousness) could lead us eventually to moksha. He also gives us a shortcut (including for the most horrible human beings). Those who can maintain a thoughtless or egoless state at the time of passing, maintains that state. It means he or she gets moksha. Easier said than done because only a dharmic person who did not get caught in the opposites of life (happy/sad, profit/loss, beauty/ugly, pride/shame) can achieve that state at the time of recycling of gross physical body

    What if we could, instead of dropping our desires, fulfil them first and let go? If we had a bunch of goals on our list, could we achieve them only to realise that they were not actually that significant? Hence, we would not have given those achieved desires the same intensity as when we had not achieved them. Would this also be considered a form of letting go of desires?

    Wow, after dozens of videos, I finally hear something valuable from Sadhguru. I agree with this video, but wonder why Sadhguru's other descriptions of enlightenment seem to contradict this video. In other descriptions of his enlightenment, he describes many things of a sensory nature in his experience.

    Enlightenment is the Supreme state beyond all dimensions which is bound to be misunderstood by all when spoken . Because none knows either the speaker or listener is wrong. It is beyond the scope of all tools of knowing . Beyond all tools of explanation. It is the concept most spoken and least realised by any. It is not the final escape or destination . It is the illumination of everything that one is. Even the physical . All the dualities and seemingly contradictions at every level of the being disappear. One with the Universal.

    • @Dharmicaction
      @Dharmicaction 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is the reason why you should read Baghavad Gita by divine avatar Krishna. It teaches us karma, reincarnation, the nature of mind, body/universe and beyond (athma or soul or divine) If you are in a worldly life but at the same time do not want to accumulate karma or cause and effect, you should not get caught in the opposites of life (beauty/ugly, pride/shame, likes/dislikes, pain/pleasure etc). It means Inaction in action. In other words, our actions do not create karma or cause and effect.
      No matter what your pre-programmed karma (based on past lives) throws at you, do not violate personal and universal dharma or ethics or balance and try to re-establish ethics or balance wherever needed. You would get moksha eventually. Moksha means to become one with the cosmos (or zero karma) or no more individual ego identity or no more independent existence. Matter or energy or the universe or macrcosm and the soul or athma or divine are two sides of the same coin. One cannot exist without the other. It is permanent. Even if the universe goes through the cycle of creation, balance and dissolution, the core energy or prakrihti remains the past of the soul or divine or athma or brahman.

    Basically you can compare enlightenment with the state in near-death-experiences..since most people are talking about the same things..no separated body or mind, just eternal love, consciousness, clarity, full bright light, timelessness and peace..

    So, i have had a ton og put of body experiences, i understand that reality is just an emanation, a dream state where we are collectively creating together. Yet we are also all one. I see my thoughts are not my own, i struggle with ego everyday. I know I'm not enlightened. I have even experienced ecstatic states. I still fight with my thoughts and emotions constantly. There are so many people that think they know what enlightenment is, when they have no clue. On the other hand there are some people that have a pretty good idea what enlightenment is but have no clue how to obtain it, like me. It's driving me nuts, the farther i press the bounderies, it seems the more my ego strengthens itself. Its like fighting a master warrior that you can't see fully. You know where he is and what he is but can't anticipate his moves. I want freedom, i want to be a child again.

    How to have evolved people on the planet, what is the things should be done within one or maybe even without to keep one who is almost enlightening like, if you are enlightened and you didn't leave the body, how are you still here and what keeps you and will keep until your day of leave???

    • @Dharmicaction
      @Dharmicaction 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      He is talking at the level of thoughts NOT gross physical body. You can be in the worldly life but still not accumulate karma or cause and effect. It means you are enlightened as much as sadhguru. Read Baghavad Gita to understand about different pathways of enlightenment. It has different pathways for everyone. Everybody gets moksha eventually.

    One correction Sadhguru with sanirbandha Namaskar. Paramahansha Yogananda was disciple of Yuktakesharananda who was the disciple of yogi Shyamachuran Laheri. so swami Yogananda is lineage of Babaji Maharaj.
