Hey man new subscriber here, i love this project and id like to do one similar. I have a 1999 dodge ram 1500 I'd like to bodyswap onto a 3500 dually drivetrain
How much u selling the 3500 for?

Mobil 1 oil filters are better then both that you suggested. That trq brand of parts are garbage.

24 valve only takes 10 quarts in engine 1 quart in filter you dumped 12 quarts plus whatever you already had in it. looks like the wrong dipstick

I always put 12qts in my 12v won't hurt it. She just roll over to 500000miles.
@bigmurph1447 I just go by the book and it calls for 11 quarts which puts it exactly on the line on dipstick.
