I almost cried for you about your ruined Harlow sweater. That would have been PERFECT on you, shape and colour. Your friend’s Harlow colour is glorious, you have great taste. I’m going to make one too.
I'm Icelandic and never wear Icelandic wool. As a kid I used to hate wearing the sweaters my mom knitted for me because they were so itchy - definitely feeling bad about that know hahah
for a cable sweater check out the Tulip Loop sweater - hot off the press. Definitely make the skirt you showed - does not have to be made with the fingering top, although fingering - wow would work with so many sweaters for you young folk.
Welcome to Philadelphia! When you talked about the Ovid sweater it reminded me that I knit the Ovis socks at the end of winter and never weaved in the ends. I need to do that so I can wear them to Rhinebeck
Make the Halloween circular yoke sweater. When I used to make them, I could get a bulky weight stranded coloureork sweater done in about 14 hours, and a DK one in less than a week. Circular stranded colourwork is easy (the second sweater I ever knit when I first started garment knitting) and you are essentially me at your age. So a circular yoke will look good on you. Just check if you need short rows so you don't get any bunching in front of the neck, but likely you won't. You will likely get the colourwork done in one session, or two at the most, because it's addictive.
I vote to make the brioche sweater just for the fun of it! Would give you a chance to use the yarn and do a more challenging stitch. Then you can always give it away at the end if you don’t wear it.
Hey there, if you like ghosts and want something quick to knit, then you should check out the Spooky Sock Set by Stone knits. Idk if you’re into Sock knitting so much but the Ghost Socks are so adorable and perfect for this season ^^
I also have the Weasley sweater on my list for my husband! So many of these, actually, are also on my list and keep getting pushed aside. 😅 Why do we do this?? haha
The Let’s Boogie has been in my queue FOREVER!!! It’s so freakin cute 😭 I also love thepetiteknitter. When I do colorwork in the round I usually just use a cord the length I need but if I ever do stranded colorwork using magic loop I would try the technique described in Knitting By Phrancko’s Improved Magic Loop Technique (I’ll try to link the video). I haven’t tried it but it looks like a great tutorial on moving that “gap” so you don’t get the ladders in magic loop th-cam.com/video/DdXbUiF9tyA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=hGqiNXZEghbZDZ9v

I plan to remake it at some point!

Love, love, love the Harlow Sweater v-neck. Made mine in Purl Soho Cashmere Merino Bloom. It’s pricey but a dream sweater. You will never take it off.

I have had the Eun Sweater on my list for a long time as well. I really like the Cardi Jumper also. 🧶

@@miphaia I literally just purchased this set! It’s so cute - I don’t think I’ll get around to it this season but definitely next year!
@@studyknits in the same line: The let's boogie also has a hat! It's so cute, it was my first colorwork project and I found it easy enough to follow!!

Please just make the Weasley sweater. I have a feeling you will wear it way more than you think if you just take the plunge.
😂 perhaps this is the push I finally need
