no one will ever know about the decals being wrong unless you tell them, they look right to me. I painted a dozer one time, it was a real pain in the ass. You have a nice looking machine there.
W0W, YOU'RE JUST LIKE ME--It's not finished till the paints dry. You did a remarkable job on the restoration ! I congratulate you on the projects ! As a kid we worked in the woods also. that and road building through some real deserted Country, And no matter what--Everything, no matter what it was ''IT ALWAYS LOOKED GOOD'' !! We even had a Old WW-2 Army Half Track with a boom on it !! A DODGE it had a canvas top and bulletproof side, with CANDY ASS written on its side under the cowling--When we repainted it--Dad had that very same thing put back on it in the script its was originally in ! CANDY ASS !!
Without doubt, for your investment in dollars and time, the result is outstanding! As a first time spray painter, I think you did extremely well, especially as this isn't the easiest of vehicles to paint. Your success will inspire others to get involved in their own projects. Thank you for sharing this video.
Great job I always say I don't charge extra for the runs but that lil tractor looks excellent now you can come to Michigan and paint mine depending on the year backhoe case painted some with power brown finders some with power tan finders yours is correct I would of never know about the decals if you didn't say anything Awsome job man I think I'm going to paint mine this summer I just ordered a pin and bushing kit for mine
Looks pretty good, as you said good enough, you at least had a mind to clean and paint it. Very good! You're two of my favorite youtube sites, I'm in Durham, just wondered who you work for? Thanks for posting a crap ton of cool videos! Jim
So did you just paint over the yellow that was already on the machine after it had been washed and cleaned of all the grease or did you sand all the paint off and go from scratch also what kind of paint gun did you use did you just run it off an air compressor
Looks nice. What paint did you use? It has the orange deeper toned yellow that I think looks so nice I painted my 70 chevelle with it years ago. Most of the yellow implement paint in the stores around here in Can'tada sell only a pale, piss colored yellow paint. I have just acquired a Ford 555 backhoe loader and wish to make it pretty like yours.
I think it looks real good job and as you say what does it matter what anyone else thinks as long as you are pleased with it! BTW I thought that those guys you had clean it did a good job for not much money at all - any equipment like that is a messy, time consuming task to clean
Very nice work. Looks great decals is just a custom marking to show its your machine in a such case someone every decided to mess with it or barrow it ;)
When this backhoe came out it changed my life. I was building swimming pools and it paid for itself over one season. Loved that machine.
Great job! There's nothing better than giving an old machine a new life.
no one will ever know about the decals being wrong unless you tell them, they look right to me. I painted a dozer one time, it was a real pain in the ass. You have a nice looking machine there.

Just curious if you remember what brand of paint you used? CNH irongard?
