It doesn't matter. Collette is a professional actress, so you are getting commentary from an actor's point of view. There are plenty of other reaction channels for popular media.

Im sure anyone said it somewhere.... your reaction to Alan Rickmans voice is so sweet. There was a study, some years ago. Muggles can see them going into the platform wall. This we know cuz at the end of the book they talk about how the praying hands stood in front of the gate and allowed only a couple people through at a time, that way the Muggles won't notice. The reason why they don't necessarily see them going into the wall, is because of basically snow blindness they're so focused on what they're trying to complete that their brain doesn't fully register what they saw and so they don't even notice it. Especially when it's only a couple at a time

Fully enjoyed watching your reaction video! Look forward to you binge watching the rest! You did an awesome job with the editing. It sounded like you might have missed the part where Hermoine was reading what the sorcerer's stone was. It was used by Nicholas Flamel to concoct The Elixer of Life, which is why Voldemort needed it. Also why he was drinking Unicorn Blood to survive until he got the Stone. Until then he was surviving/possessing Prof. Quirrell.
Fun Fact: Nicholas Flamel is a real person who lived in the 14th/15th centuries. He was a bookseller by trade and an alchemyst on the side. The Philosopher's Stone has been linked to him for centuries.😎

Except one woman was still handing out a Slytherin Cap. I reached over about ten people and snagged it. Then I realized "Wow, that was truly a Slytherin move to get it! LOL a true Slytherin at heart!!
Why wouldn't you believe that? I'm almost 50 and I watched them for the first time a few years ago, after reading the books. I have not seen most blockbuster movies because they simply don't interest me
@@livb6945 She is not 50 and she is predicting most of the moments, thats why) Of course in our generation I know also some people who didnt watch movies like that, but I dont think this is that movie, that you watch for the first time and easily predict scenario
My thoughts too. My suspicions are raised on other channels as well where they apparently haven't seen any movie with a significant fandom and multiple genres. Truth is, if you had seen them and you wanted to grow your reaction channel you would want to hit on these movies for the engagement and growth the fandoms bring.
The pure amount of acting power behind this series is amazing… Alan Rickman, Richard Harris, Dame Maggie Smith and others that appear in the next movies are legends and great Shakespearean actors.
13:54 So this is something that really isn't explained in the movies. The reason no one wants to say Voldemort's name is that there was a spell placed on it back when he was in power. Voldemort and his followers would be able to located the person that said his name.
24:04 I feel I have to say this now the movies seem to really hate Ron as they take a lot of his accomplishments from the books and mainly give them to Hermione(they also give a few of Harry's to her but nowhere near as much and they give Harry a few of Ron's) or just leave them out. They also outright change his reaction to things for instance in one of the books his reaction to a character getting scolded was to defend them but in the movie equivalent it's to mock them.
I've read the books and watched the films several times, yet I've only just realised that Erised is just desire spelt backwards 😅. Never really paid it that much attention before
Hey, I know I’m late to the party but I just wanted to say thank you for reacting to this movie, I’m a long time HP fan and videos like this just make life better.
46:37 - His mother sacrificing herself to ensure her child is safe; willingly and purely out of love granted Harry protection against Voldemort and he can't ever touch Harry. (Next part has SPOILERS) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . That's actually why he stays at the Dursleys, because the sacrificial protection extends to her sister, Aunt Petunia as long as Harry was accepted into a blood relative's home, which is the Blood Connection aspect of that spell.
Harry is good at flying because his father's friend gave Harry a toy broomstick (can fly with limitations) for his 1st birthday. Harry used to chase his mum's cat around the house riding on it. (source: Deathly hallows: Lilly's letter to a friend). However he did break Petunia's horrible vase she gave her sister for Christmas.
11:45 "WHAT! He's loaded!" Harry's family holds the patent for a couple of very popular potions (Skele-Grow and Sleek-Easy's Hair Tonic), which means that Harry's wealth grows over time. 14:34 Molly Weasley: "It's the same every year, packed with Muggles, of course! Come on. Platform 9 3/4, this way!" There was no reason for Mrs. Weasley to mention Muggles or the platform number, especially in such a loud voice, and my theory is that she's one of a number of wizards who do this to help kids like Harry find their way to the platform and onto the train.
Collette, seeing you in this reaction, I would probably (if I were the Sorting Hat) have put you in Ravenclaw. Ravenclaw's motto is: "Wisdom beyond measure is man's greatest treasure." Also, the password to the Ravenclaw common room isn't a password or passphrase, like it is in Gryffindor. Rather, the wood knocker (on the entrance to the Ravenclaw common room) asks you a question when you knock. You are required to give a reasoned answer. If you don't, you must wait for someone to give a reasoned answer. That way, you learn.
Harry was orphaned & attacked with the curse that left the scar on halloween that was like the next morning so yeah that scar was fresh he got it at exactly 15 months old THEN he was living under the stairs for 9 & 3/4 years
I hope this doesn't come across the wrong way, but I always thought you had a very Slytherin vibe, even before you watched these movies 😅 The blonde hair, the aristocratic features, something in the way you talk. It's Mean Girls meets Dark Academia, in the most endearing way possible.
19:39 Sorry to burst your bubble but Mr Snape is one of many actors after this film (some years later) who passed away along with Hagrid, Prof. Dumboldore, and replacements as well as the extras playing students etc. Some of babies and young student actors that were used are nameless who weren't even added to cast list, RIP TO ALL WHO LOST THEIR LIVES.
It’s funny how you noted that the Harry had a hint of sadness in his eyes - the producers said that the actor (Daniel Radcliffe) had a “haunted quality” in his face that made him the perfect person to play Harry
As for Harry's wealth, one galleon is $7.35 (+ -) and it is estimated that he has at least $1.2 million in his Gringotts vault, based on the number of galleons listed in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
You're very observant. You got a few things right. 😆 Anyway, it's a crime that you've never watched this growing up. Missed out on a great childhood. 😮
Voldemort/Quirrel couldn't touch Harry because of some really old blood magic: his mothers sacrifice to save him. Its also why he has to stay at his aunt and uncle during the school holiday, his aunt is the only surviving blood relative. As explained in book 6 which I'm currently reading.
I could see you fitting into Slytherin, but I feel like you are more suited for Ravenclaw. The foreshadowing you can pick up on is impressive. You also ask a lot of questions (not a bad thing)-just a sign of curiosity, which is a major trait of most Ravenclaws.

Voldemort only attached himself to Quirrel after he failed to rob Gringotts. He doesn't state it directly but he says something along the lines of "he wanted to keep a closer eye on me". If he had already merged with Quirrel at that point, he couldnt have been any closer.
So somebody clarify this for me she has seen these movies before? Cause it doesn’t come off as a first time reaction
It doesn't matter. Collette is a professional actress, so you are getting commentary from an actor's point of view. There are plenty of other reaction channels for popular media.
@@SeedFactoryProject lmao what massive dickriding. It does matter. She is lying to her subscribers about not seeing the movie but she definitely has. This ain't just a commentary, but a reaction. Reactions should not be forged
@@SeedFactoryProject It does matter. Dishonesty is not a nice thing. I'm not watching anymore of her videos.
@abcdef-uc1rj It literally does not matter. It‘s meant to entertain, and not as a high level film analysis. If you enjoy the reactions, keep watching. If you don‘t, stop watching.
Im sure anyone said it somewhere.... your reaction to Alan Rickmans voice is so sweet.
There was a study, some years ago. Scientists wanted to find "the perfect voice" meaning, tone, melody, deepness etc. They studied multiple scientific ways to find it.
Conclusion was, the "perfect voice" does not exist, however Alan Rickman had the closest voice possible, with 98%
What you said about Daniel Radcliffe being the perfect choice because the sadness reflected in his eyes was exactly why they cast him, - can’t wait for you to watch the whole series and the reunion where they talk about this! ❤
I would bet you’ve definitely seen this movie before but saw the hype on hp reactions
Sooooo.... why are you here watching this video then?
@@KaiLucasZachary you have a problem with people pointing out something that is not right? Lying to everyone who are your subs is not a way to go. Do you have fascination with defending content creators who do wrong?
“You’re gonna eat your words, piggie-man!” 😄😄😄
8:15 “this is every child’s dream.”
Oh yeah I was big into wanting to be a mage as a kid (and I guess still… I like magic okay)
Finally, someone to Simp over Snape with besides just myself😂 that man holds such a SPECIAL place in my heart.
the actor it’s Daniel Radcliffe that’s him as a little boy
Muggles can see them going into the platform wall. This we know cuz at the end of the book they talk about how the praying hands stood in front of the gate and allowed only a couple people through at a time, that way the Muggles won't notice. The reason why they don't necessarily see them going into the wall, is because of basically snow blindness they're so focused on what they're trying to complete that their brain doesn't fully register what they saw and so they don't even notice it. Especially when it's only a couple at a time
Gryffindor myself wand 9 inches poplar wood and dragon heartstring core 😁 i really do fit in all 4 houses but i know in my heart of hearts I’m a gryffindor
"She seems like a witch." How ironic. 😂
She looks like a witch would be the greatest compliment for a 10 year old petuina 😂😂 and a salt burn on her jealousy now at 2:23
Dudley was in Oppenheimer btw!
If you like the actor who plays snape so much the movie Robin Hood prince of thieves he plays the sheriff of Nottingham and I think you should watch all the Die Hard movies but the Villain is in the first movie
If there was a rock/tiny island in the "middle of the ocean", and it was a stormy night (where visibility is low), wouldnt you think a light house would be a good idea???
This is great... Been waiting for this 😅👍👍
had the pleasure to meet Emma Watson in person a few years ago and could only agree when you said "both of them love her...who wouldnt" she is stunning
Prewatched
Every time I take the house test, I get Slytherin! Now I adopt it. I went to a NY Yankee game with Harry Potter house caps last year. When I got to the front of the line all the caps were gryffindor. Except one woman was still handing out a Slytherin Cap. I reached over about ten people and snagged it. Then I realized "Wow, that was truly a Slytherin move to get it! LOL a true Slytherin at heart!!
LOL!
Colette Cherry: "You know, I have a wild side."
Everyone on the internet: "You don't say!" 😅😘
I dont believe someone first watching this movie))) Also so suspicios predictions of everything when watching
@@KyivanEnjoyer I noticed that too, especially when she doesn't do these great predictions on her other reactions.
I don't like the dishonesty.
The pure amount of acting power behind this series is amazing… Alan Rickman, Richard Harris, Dame Maggie Smith and others that appear in the next movies are legends and great Shakespearean actors.
I find it funny that in the beginning she says the Dursley’s are pigs and later in the movie Hagrid gives Dudley a pig tail
23:16 - _"Seeker James Potter"_ ... yes, but barely anyone seems to see the other name next to it : _"1971 Gonagal"_
Exactly!! McGonagall's a big quidditch fan and used to play it 😊
13:54 So this is something that really isn't explained in the movies. The reason no one wants to say Voldemort's name is that there was a spell placed on it back when he was in power. Voldemort and his followers would be able to located the person that said his name.
That didn't happen until Deathly Hallows as far as I know.
"She seems like a witch." would have been ok to describe Petunia anywhere but this franchise.
Not her simping hard on Snape 🤣🤣
"how is Harry not scared?"
He is scared, without fear, there is no real courage.
I read the book a year or two after it came out. You are WAY ahead than I ever was while reading it.
maybe because she is acting like she hasn't
I've read the books and watched the films several times, yet I've only just realised that Erised is just desire spelt backwards 😅. Never really paid it that much attention before
Hey, I know I’m late to the party but I just wanted to say thank you for reacting to this movie, I’m a long time HP fan and videos like this just make life better.
46:37 - His mother sacrificing herself to ensure her child is safe; willingly and purely out of love granted Harry protection against Voldemort and he can't ever touch Harry.

That's actually why he stays at the Dursleys, because the sacrificial protection extends to her sister, Aunt Petunia as long as Harry was accepted into a blood relative's home, which is the Blood Connection aspect of that spell.
STOP SPOILING
@@undertakr My bad. I edited the comment to warn of the spoiler.
I am so excited you stated this, I am such a fan of the Harry Potter Series
I imagined some of the bullies would be in Ravenclaw, but I always knew I’d be in Ravenclaw.
How do people not realize Harry is dodging the club? I've seen multiple reactions of people wondering why its missing.
I loved this reaction, I hope you continue the series
Harry is good at flying because his father's friend gave Harry a toy broomstick (can fly with limitations) for his 1st birthday. Harry used to chase his mum's cat around the house riding on it. (source: Deathly hallows: Lilly's letter to a friend). However he did break Petunia's horrible vase she gave her sister for Christmas.
0:09 It's 8 films! Omg, you are so new to this universe! I'm gonna have a great time watch you watch stuff! 🥰😇
11:45 "WHAT! He's loaded!"
Harry's family holds the patent for a couple of very popular potions (Skele-Grow and Sleek-Easy's Hair Tonic), which means that Harry's wealth grows over time.
14:34 Molly Weasley: "It's the same every year, packed with Muggles, of course! Come on. Platform 9 3/4, this way!"
There was no reason for Mrs. Weasley to mention Muggles or the platform number, especially in such a loud voice, and my theory is that she's one of a number of wizards who do this to help kids like Harry find their way to the platform and onto the train.
44:50 Fun fact: Voldemort's voice was supplied by the same actor who played Quirrell, Ian Hart.
20.00 we were discussing the 3rd floor and how it'd be easy to avoid, I believe...
Harry was orphaned & attacked with the curse that left the scar on halloween that was like the next morning so yeah that scar was fresh he got it at exactly 15 months old THEN he was living under the stairs for 9 & 3/4 years
I hope this doesn't come across the wrong way, but I always thought you had a very Slytherin vibe, even before you watched these movies 😅
The blonde hair, the aristocratic features, something in the way you talk. It's Mean Girls meets Dark Academia, in the most endearing way possible.
Not all wizards can transform themselves into animals, only the specialists can
I never saw the techno meme!! I know people unironically quote it all the time but adding music is hilarious.
22:35 You're the second person ever to realise Mcgonagall was actually impressed with Harry and not in trouble!
And Leslie Phillips - the voice of the Sorting Hat.
@@PhilBagels Yes him too, I did said etc. Lol I couldnt remember every single actor that died.
@@ellie_jeann He's easy to overlook, because just a voice. I'd never heard of him before HP, but he's a well-known comedic actor in the UK.
i'm loving her crush on Snape
Finally!!!
Yes!!!!
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
You should look up the "Harry Potter ... with guns" edit. It's just a few scenes, but it's hilarious.
Anyway, it's a crime that you've never watched this growing up.
It's the only workout he did in the last 30 years 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I could see you fitting into Slytherin, but I feel like you are more suited for Ravenclaw. The foreshadowing you can pick up on is impressive. You also ask a lot of questions (not a bad thing)-just a sign of curiosity, which is a major trait of most Ravenclaws.
