This is great, thank you! Pardot doesn't make it at all clear what matches with what (and it makes it worse that they haven't fully linked up Pardot with Salesforce yet) so this has been incredibly helpful.

I'm learning Pardot right now. Your video is concise yet explains things in detail. Just subscribed and will be checking out more videos on the subject. Thank you!

      Thanks for the comment!
I'm glad you're finding it helpful. We have more TH-cam videos on Pardot planned. If you run through everything we've posted and need more, check out academy.rotive.io. We have a paid pardot course that goes more in depth.
Also, let us know if there are any specific topics, you'd like to see covered.

Huh. I always assumed grading was on the account level. What do you recommend for grading accounts?

Hi Jonathan, Thanks for watching our videos!
Grading in Pardot runs on the prospect record and its grade is updated on a field that maps to a Contact or Lead. If you want to grade accounts, you'll need a custom automation.
I'm thinking you could use a Flow to take the highest grade of all related contacts and display that on the account (if you wanted to use Pardot's Grading functionality), or you could create a custom Flow that uses its own grading logic. The second option would follow the same principle as Pardot grading but run entirely on the Sales Cloud side of the system.
Let us know if you'd like to see a video on this topic. I'm curious to know how you're thinking of using account grading in your business.

I seem to be having an issue with my scoring categories. I have created a few of them and linked them to page actions. I am hoping that the score will increase based on visits to the URLs I have listed but they don't seem to be working. Any ideas?

Hey Adam, page actions only work for identified prospects. Are you testing with known prospects or anonymous visitors?
If someone anonymous visits a page with a page action and then fills out a form becoming identified, the page actions would not have fired for them. If they go back to that page after becoming identified, they would.
