Yamaha Tracer 9 Mounting the Shad 3P system (SH36 side cases)

- This is a Yamaha Tracer 9 Shad 3P system (Y0TR91IF) mounting video. As I decided to do some touring two up I bought the Shad 3P system that goes with the SH36 side cases. In my opinion it looks very nice. I mean it is the nicest system for the side cases on the market. Mounting it takes some time, but if you have some experience and would like to try it on your own, you just can. It will take you around 1 hrs. Finally you can see the Tracer 9 with the SH36 Shad side cases and the Yamaha genuine top box (the 3P system fits only with SH35, SH36 and SH23 side cases). This is not a pure instructional video, but if you follow the steps you are gonna make it. Hopefully this video can be helpful. Veoma koristan video.Jedino me čudi što je toliko komplikovano namještanje nosača. Ja volim voziti R motore ali i imati mogučnost za ponjeti i nešto prtljaga kad se vozim. Tako sam na Ninji sam pravio nosač zadnjeg kofera ali je mogao da se skine i postavi za par minuta jer se držao na 6 šarafa. Kod Hayabuse sam kupio original nosač ali za drugu generaciju iako je moj prva generacija. Drži se na 4 šarafa i može se postaviti i skinuti brzo tako da ga po potrebi stavljam i skidam. Kod Suzukija GSX 1100 ES sam kupio univerzalni nosač koji se isto brzo postavi i skine tako da i njega mislim skidati ako nije neophodan. Dobio si "like" od mene jer to ovaj video stvarno zaslužuje. Neka te dugo služe motor i novi nosač. Pozdrav.
Jeste nekoliko komplikovano jer treba skidat 3 konektore pa jedan ide onako jedan ovako. Inače je moguče to napraviti za 1 sat vremena kad skužiš kako. Na R motorih nije puno opcija sa tim stvarima ali ako sam nešto napraviš kao si ti, to je onda ono najbolje mi se čini. Onda kad ti ne treba samo skineš. To je super. Hvala za lajk prijatelju. Hi! Very nice video! I am struggling to disconnect the electrical cable before the seat, either I'm doing something wrong, either they are very hard. Did you disconnect them by using your hands only or did you use a tool?

Thanks for watching bro. I know what are you talking about. If you do it the right way it should go off easily without any tools, but on some bikes it is quite hard to do it without tools. In my case tools weren't needed. I hope that you will do it without problems. :)

Hi, I have the Tracer 9, I bought the fittings for the shad Y0TC91ST top case, I think the same as you.
But I have encountered a problem, when mounting the license plate holder with the plate (5' and 15" from the video). The 22mm metric 6 bolts, the ones closest to the rear light and that don't have a nut, don't thread.
Did this happen to you? Do you have a trick?

Are you sure that you have everything? Could be that 2 of your bolts are missing, those close to the rear light. Do you have the exact plate? My TOP case is not Shad, it is from Yamaha (stock Top box). I have only the side cases from Shad. Thanks for the comment mate. If I can help you somehow... just let me know.

The problem is that at the bottom there is a burr on the plastic of the "mudguard" that sticks out and hits the screws.
The shad mount doesn't fit in the hole, it doesn't lie flat and the screws don't reach it.
Didn't that happen to you?
@@geohector_sm If you are mentioning the plate for the top box, mine is the Yamaha one. Not from Shad. It was perfectly fine when mounting it. Every bolt had its place. I didn't encounter anything wired. Our plates are probably different.

Hi, I'm not talking about the plate on the top box, but the plate that is attached to the number plate holder (where your side case brackets attach).
That must be the same as the one you put on.
The problem is attaching the plate holder, with the shad plates bolted to the back of the tail, from the rear seat well.
That's where the problem lies.

@@geohector_sm I see. I get it. This is very strange. As I remember there are two different mounts. For different type of cases. They may have given you the wrong rack/bolts. Try to contact them ask them. I would do so.
