- The owner of an embattled Chicago tombstone company is now under more fire in a lawsuit filed by members of her own family of stealing assets to fund a lavish lifestyle. NBC Chicago’s PJ Randhawa reports.
You work 5 generations to build something good and provide a nice service. Then these clowns get it and this is what you get. How do you live with yourself being a scum bag?

I almost gagged when I heard that! Just another way to steal, this time from the taxpayers via the government. That make 2 states to look into their political connections!

You see so much of this these days where the younger generations sell the business,farms to cash out and try and live big not interested at all in carrying on the legacy or working 👎

In all fairness, that's what you do. Build a company, sell it and retire. Why pass it on to anyone who didn't contribute? If you can retire and enjoy life then do it. Get out and stop working. Heck I am American. That's what what we do here. The most successful people sell businesses and live large. Being a slave to yourself is no good
generational wealth came to an end. I know of someone (the matriarch) that sold 500 acres of land, that had been in the family, so she could go travel. She got to travel. Died just a couple years later. Left her family nothing.

It's sad what happened but please a tombstone is not going to make you be not forgotten. I guess I have a wierd attitude but it doesn't matter if I'm forgotten because I just get cremated and not have to deal with this crap.

Historically ,pre 2000 . And especially Victorian era,,in America even. Even many average Families built mausoleums . A Mauseleum lasts for centuries and can accommodate DOZENS of family. $300,000 spread over 100 plus yrs? A good investment.

no victims here? id be happy (if it was possible) if the funds paid for my tombstone went for someone's lavish lifestyle ,no matter what they did with it wouldve been better than wasting it on my idiotic grave marker ,which not only is a waste of time and resources , but only lasts long enough to be plowed over for new "suckers" graves later on .
