What a cool video, thanks. I have never seen anyone stack those containers before, let alone get them down. I saw one guy here locally buy a 20 foot container. He built his own roof trusses on the top and put on a metal roof. Then he sided it with wood barn siding and it turned out great. You would never know that's a shipping container unless you went inside of it.
The cost of a shipping container is a lot cheaper than spending $12,000 for a shed! That's insane what they cost to buy. There is even a channel about shed repo's. People can't pay so they come take it away. Thanks for the video!

The great thing about shipping containers is you don’t need an entire slab for them; they are strong enough to rest them on concrete footings and they’ll be fine. These 20-footers might be strong enough to only need them at the corners, or wherever the attachment points for fastening them to other containers are. Those clamps are so strong, you don’t need anything more when building a structure out of multiple containers; they’re designed to secure tall stacks off these in rough seas, they’re more than enough to hold a building together.

I also own an excavating company and I have had people recommend the NOCO boost 3000 Amp battery jumpers. It was the best investment I ever made and I keep one in my dump truck in case my equipment have dead batteries when i get to a job. You hook it on to the battery and it’ll tell you how much juice is in the battery and then you just turn it on and wait like 3 seconds and the machine will have juice to start. The 3000 amp is for bigger equipment like dump trucks but you can put it on a small lawn mower battery and do the same thing and it wont over kill it, it comes down to the correct volts it needs to start each battery. I’m not a dealer for them or anything, its just a suggestion from another excavator that had the same problems you have. Love your videos, been watching for years!

This is without a shadow of a doubt the most mind-boggling, unbelievable, and seriously dangerous moving of equipment that I have ever seen in my lifetime of 78+ years. I can only say that in my opinion, it ranks right up at the top with the way things are done in 3rd world countries. Andrew had better pray that no one associated with the N.Y. State Safety Board and/or with OSHA ever views this video, because if that should happen, he may well lose his Business License to operate in the State of New York.

Interesting video sir. I am surprised that you can put that lateral stress on the boom of the mini without damaging it in the process. Thanks for sharing this insightful video. Wishing you and your furry kids a blessed week, gentle weather and restful evenings. Peace

Your experience on handling "Big Boxes" on your own property came in handy here. I thought at first you were adding more to your own collection. Like shelves, you can never have too many. I know "That" from experience. Two floor to ceiling 50' long shelves, among others.... I just have one 40' container, so far...... Shame you didn’t go with just a little extra effort to display more of the artwork painted on the sides. Would've given the place a bit of a hippie compound feel. They were really a step up from the graffiti that you usually see. What I see on train cars, certainly keeps me from getting bored while I'm waiting at a 🚆 crossing 🛤.

Cool technique! Hope to see more container stacking and unstacking in the future. Hope to see someone selling a hyd container jack/system in the future for just a single operator! Could be a cool invention if it doesn't already exist.

The haulage company I work for in the UK specialise in moving these and site cabins. We’ve got a few 4 axle trucks with Fassi 820 knuckle boom cranes. Could setup in one position and move all 6 of those 20s. Maybe your next purchase Andrew 🤔😁

That was kind of nail biting. How come you didn't use the orange Lull? Bing bang boom. I used them in the masonry business and would venture to say a pallet of 12" "concrete" block outweighs a 20' container easily.

Andrew has the best blue collar content on youtube. Hes always doing cool projects and fixing machines and every now and then driving old cars off the sides of the cliff. I wish everyone on youtube was a no frills, get the job done, and go home kind of person with editing. Too many people talk way too much, and people like heavyDsparks acts like he gets manicures, mocha lattes, and then does blue collar work just for the camera.
