Great job! I’ve got a few moki 360s (60cc in-line twin) you still need to run mufflers on that engine. You want strap on mufflers. They made special mufflers for the in-line engines. Every two stroke needs back pressure to run right and perform like it should.
Captain Robert captain Blaz awesome channel I was going to guess the engine is a early HB but the back of the crank case don’t look right can’t wait to see it in the air
Look at Dis 🥰. This Old Man from Washington NC little late watching 😭. Didn't get a notification 😕. Going to be interesting what plane ends up with the engine 👍. Do Love Me Some Brothers and Alina ✈️🧔💝💝💝
Never escape from the two great brothers whom have always made me smile with all types of content from food to motors to runways and rivers we love you guys and your wonderful families whom support you both salute to the Petrincic Bro's rc channel
hy you guys from south island new zealand im in the palmeston model aero club and loving flying ive watched every one of your videos i lov your pasion for aircraft you guys are a crak up so funy keep it up chers
The only time I've seen an inline twin like this was way back in the 1970s, in Aeromodeler Magazine, where they had a column called "Engine Test", written by Peter Chinn.. Engines like this were used for early model jets, but can you imagine? They were heavy (not like today's brilliant electro foam jets) and no amount of fuel proofer could protect the inside from dropping to bits in a mushy mess.. Except this almost never happened, because they always crashed.. So although I'm a balsa/IC lover, I also love electro, because basically, no EDF, no jets, and these light jets are such a joy to fly and to watch, especially over the beautiful Slovenian countryside on Petrincic Flying Circus RC.. Thanks guys for taking the time to show us this double 'Blast From The Past'! Big salute as ever from London. ⭐👍
Excellent video! This is a unique engine! These rare engines belong in the hands of Captain Blaz! Hope to see it perform in a plane one day soon! Thanks for the ongoing information on planes, engines, and for the entertainment!! Jon.
Robert and Blaz you guys always bring us the best stuff! I always look forward to your videos. I don’t think I have seen an inline twin before. I really can’t wait to see and hear that motor in the air, I think a warbird would be best, but I’m sure you will make a thrilling choice. Keep up the great work Dave
CAPTAIN BLAZ ! I think those engimes are picco engines (pee ko) they look like rotor valve engines, like Picco aero .80 I have 2 picco ,90 marine engines, one engine turns left, the other turns right. They were heavily modified by a company called land air & water back in 1994. They are in storage and if/when i find them i will send them to you. The front plate houses the rotor which is attached to the crankshaft. Rotor valve engines can easily be made to run opposite rotation. I believe a machinist such as yourself made the intake manifold that connects to both engine fronts where the rotor valve is. Could be picco made a reversed engine block casting and made that twin by connecting 2 engines as well. Looking forward to the 2023 Christmas and New Years videos.
Great motor! But I think when you are running it should support the back cylinder, putting stress on crank shaft because the back cylinder is vibrating upwards and downwards.
Captain Blaz and pilot Robert always love your videos ! I am also an engine builder of model airplane engines And large collector What you have there is an early HP Made in the 70s ! I have that same identical engine And also one of the newer versions Which are still available With that same exact center carburetor set up ! Look up Mecoa ( Model engine company of America ) And you will see That same engine only in a newer style Love you brothers from upstate New York America
KNB used to sell a couple of different versions of this but the carburetor was on the bottom not on the top in between the two carbs. I don’t know why it was on the bottom maybe because it sat upside down so the fuel would run down into the cylinder, heads into the crank case. It be nice to have mufflers on it tuned mufflers just for the sound.
Yeah that's a interesting engine especially since 1 carburetor does both cylinders instead of having to tune 2 carburetors! From my experience they run the best with a master airscrew or APC prop instead of a wooden one because they give them like the flywheel effect to keep it running smoother!
Captn Blaz, cool classic nitro inline twin. Are you putting it in a p51? Will you film it, it seems to run pretty good. You guys are still #1, keep filming. 👍👍👍
Captain Bläz, I bought a used nitro rc plane. It was cheap, it's a World Models Sky Raider mark 2. I got a spectrum reciever adapted to its futaba servos. I put a lighter lipo battery in it and it works great. It came wit a OS .40fp engine and I cleaned it up real good. Got the electrics, but you gents got me into nitro..this spring I hope to have great success flying it..cant wait for your new video..👍🤠🇺🇸
I wondered if this is a homemade motor. Whatever it is, it's Narly! Maybe make a reducer adapter to put a larger carb and the extra intake length might improve performance as well. Like a highrise intake. 72 LBS!! Blaz is a STUD👀👍😘😆. More engine running sounds great. Got a rotary?
Not an RC engine but still a little interesting, I have a 170cc twin cylinder horizontally opposed 2 stroke lawn mower. The cylinders are on a common crankcase. It has to have a 180deg crank in it otherwise the transfer slots can't work and it won't run. This means both cylinders fire at the same time. The sound is rather unsatisfying since it just sounds like a regular 2 stroke single cylinder but it is definitely smoother than a single. It came from the factory like that. As far as grass cutting goes it is utterly hopeless. It might be OK for cutting a bowling green but as far as anything else, forget it. I searched for nearly 10 years to find an operating one with an intact muffler and good catcher, finally found it and it sits there doing nothing. Last time it ran was about 6 years ago.
Yk what? Ive got a Black Horse Mosquito a few Months ago from my Grandpa, because he unfortunately died..and its all good, except for that one little thing that is sooo hard to fix..Bombers sometimes got these grids infront of the engine and..my axle of the engine is grinding on it, because the grid is connected to my motor hood and the hood is loose. But the hood is only secured with one screw and you really cant fix that.. but its only on one side, so i´ll just remove the grids on both sides and it´ll be fine though
It looks like theyre what like two .45s or .60s inline? If two .45s id use a 13×6, if its two .61s a 13×7 or 14×7 maybe. Really neat engine you have there..😊 saute from tulsa oklahoma from the Davis family..
This twin engine is made in 1972, Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Almost all production was for export to the USSR. th-cam.com/video/XTsJmB56SyE/w-d-xo.html It was used to propel flying targets for pilot training.
I have a WW2 opposed cylinder drone engine that my dad had for a huge RC airplane one cylinder is as big as your fist the name on the one I got is Righter manufacturer of the U.S. army
hey Glad to see my old engine running !!!!! Salute back from Vienna !!!!!

Could it be that the guy that sent you the engine built it himself, Captain Blaz? And what will you put that beauty on?
No no it was made long before he was born :)
Exact.i Just inheritted the Engine and Captain Blaz realy wanted it so Bad that i Sold it .
@@pirminkogleck4056 Well, it went to a good home.

Thanks for kind words.

Captain Blaz its definitely the Nitro doctor
Thanks!!!
Definitely going to need an onboard glow lighter for that engine so you can flip a switch on your Tx to add heat to those plugs.
I was thinking Moki make a inline twin back in the day

I believe your motor is a K&B seafury twin outboard from the 50s. Google it. Used on rc outboard boats.

They look like Enya 90 crankcases to me with the branding removed. Definitely a bespoke build by someone.
Captain Blaž, how in the world did you break your leg?
Nice!!! Dat was it eh!!! Now I wonder what plane ???!!!??? Something sik!!!! 👍👍👍💪💪💪🇦🇺🇦🇺
Couple of mufflers then it needs Needs fitting in a nice Balsa plane...👍👍
You could build a small Wartburg

Those look like a couple of old super tiger 60's coupled together, they may possibly be control line 60's converted for a barrel type carburetor
