@Competition For LOST thats the point. You do not. Just the laws of chance forbid that you always get bad teammates. If you wanna climb ranks, you need to get rid of this mentality and accept that on average, your teammates are just as good as you cause your in the same rank.

The funny thing is I'm a gold but I was taught a put rotation pretty quickly by friends so even though I'm a gold in most modes when it comes to mechanics and strategy I succeed compared to other golds but I still have a lot to learn and practice.

@@atomicmonke9567 thing that sucks is when I solo queue I have gold teammates and gold opponents but my if I EVER go for the ball and I have to get back to my goal immediately because most of the time my teammates will go for boost over ball and then they wonder why we get scored on and I'll just be sitting there thinking why couldn't these people know about rotations. Honestly I almost fell out of gold because of that so many times.

Summary guy:
1) work with your team mate and their play style
2) don't waste boost (consider flipping)
3) don't double commit (don't go for every ball)
4) free play is super important to learn new skills and in general improve your game (don't only do ranked)
5) don't play too cautiously, be confident!

It's actually funny though because every time I try to trust my teammate and rotate they just let the ball straight into the goal.
It's not a mentality, that's just what it's like at low ranks.
Not like I'm great or anything, just that I can barely take my eyes away from the ball without it flying straight into out goal

Ok so I tried playing this game again and immediately got shit on with toxicity lmao
It’s not about trusting teammates per say. I mean I’m C3/low GC and I don’t trust teammates but I give my teammates room but if it’s something I am not confident in I am waiting further back ready to jump in after a miss play or something and likewise I would hope my teammate would be doing the same thing. Something to remember is that your teammate missing the ball isn’t actually inherently a bad thing because there are probably many benefits that can come from this situation you just need to be able to react to them. Obviously this isn’t always the case and you cannot always be ready to help but it’s something to think about. You don’t want to ball chase but also it’s not a bad idea to be in a position to react to the play if shit hits the fan
All I know is at my rank when someone is dribbling the ball it’s often that someone goes for a challenge 80% of the time they don’t actually stop the ball but the important thing is they made the challenge as now the person that was waiting back can move in on this ball that just got hit away from the enemy for a free clear or a dribble them selves

I don’t think you realize how bad people in silver are, they can’t pass, they can’t hit the ball accurately, they can’t read people, they can’t hit shots on open nets. Now in like higher gold is when teammates actually become much better.

3: defend if you're teammate attacks.
4: don't only play ranked. Open training packs, always learn a new mechanic.
5: don't play too cautious have confidence in yourself

2chill most of the time my intent when I hit the ball is to put it in a place where it stalls both teams but on the opposing side so my teammates can get more boost and be ready for the offensive push.

Wasting boost can actually be a strategy as the pool is communal so you're wasting everyone's boost and in some cases, this is quite favorable. Not always, but sometimes

Dude the thing that holds me back is the ball cam it's so hard to actually controll your car and know how much you need to turn while ball cam is on that's exactly why you see alot of new players spin around the ball I've tried spending time in training and it's still so annoying
