I agree with semineil, unbelievable vocals from Thom Yorke... It's a so great combination with guitars in this song... Radiohead es lo mejor que existe. Good video! Radiohead doesn't always go with the videos, but this one isn't as bad as you all cry about!
I kinda like this video. It's about the growth of the individual coming to fruition at the end. Pretty cool. And, of course, it doesn't hurt that this is a great song from the guys of Radiohead.
This is a fantastic video! Thanks for putting the time in to create it. I am guessing from the images towards the end of the video that you are aware of the inspiration behind the song; namely, the Hungerford massacre of 1987 in which Michael Ryan fatally shot 16 people before turning the gun on himself.
This track was written by Radiohead in response to The 1987 Hungerford Massacre in which 'Loner' Michael Ryan shot 31 people killing 16 of them before taking the cowards way out.. See folks.... death sells, just hope Radiohead saw fit to donate the money they made from this song to the families of the victims.
@rautibo i highly doubt that is why he doesn't do this song. i just heard him live 2 weeks ago and his voice is as good as ever. that note was probably difficult to record in a studio so i am sure he could improvise in some way if he really wanted to play this song. maybe you are right though...
@elsalfo Oh, you know what he meant! I did alot of my homework to The Bends. I wish I was 15 again. However, I am getting older. I hope that when I die I will swim in all my best memories. x
wow, i kinda expected that to suck like most youtube videos. I thought the "when your on your knees" part veered towards the cheesily literal, but other than that, good job.
Hey, is a sweet song, but I am wondering if this is an official video from the band, or just a well done fanimation? I am making a dvd set of all the Radiohead music videos out there, and need go get everything from A-Z. But still a great song from an early album.
Okay, RH super-nerd question here: I know from countless interviews that this song's original lyric, "Just shoot your gun", was removed following Cobain's suicide, as Yorke didn't want people to think he was referring to that, BUT...does anyone know which line is the replacement? Like, did it go "Just like your dad / Just shoot your gun"?? Or, "Just shoot your gun / You'll never change"?? I guess the 2nd seems more likely, but...very curious, have been for years.
dont know if they donated any money to those families or not but to make a song of this magnitude out of a situation like that. where a lost soulless shell does that to the innocent just shows me how genius they really are. i'm sure u know they put in rainbows on the net and let their fans buy it for whatever they thought it was worth. that doesn't seem like a money mongering machine to me.
Don't worry bout the vid. Radiohead don't do vids so much. Was this song even a single? Well, it shoulda been. One of my all time favourite ever tracks. Ever!!! Go Radiohead!! Uploader vid sucks tho. haha..
that video's not official, is it? anyway, good song, nice video...! though I like the real video scenes better than the animation... just my humble opinion... oh, and the drawn scenes at 2:10 I like too. and the collage at 3:00... ... ...why am I writing so much? prolly should'nt have had that much coffee... sry.

i happen to have both of those in my iTunes library (don't ask why). I see what you mean. Melody starts the same and with the same notes. Always knew Radiohead couldn't write their own material :P
(don't ask why) oooh cos you're so edgy and random I guess. A connoisseur of everything I imagine. The fact you think Radiohead "couldn't write their own material" shows what an utter cretin you are
When looking back at there early work, most of it seems so unimportant in comparison with what they've been putting out since Kid A. I really, really hate this song actually... I'm sure I'll get some serious hating, but a lot of the early stuff just isn't worth it.
One of my favorite songs by Radiohead.
LOVE RADIO HEAD ! SULK , one of my favorite songs ! Saw them when they opened for R.E.M. WOW ! what a show !!!!
What a beautiful song
what a pretty music video
Just one of those tunes that make u want to cry..like "thru the eyes of ruby" by the pumpkins. Beautiful really
Im just glad this great song is even uploaded. Stop hating and go make a better video if you think you can!
LOVE THIS SONG , I MISS THE 90'S SOOOOOOOOOO BAD !
I agree with semineil, unbelievable vocals from Thom Yorke... It's a so great combination with guitars in this song...

Back on youtube - such an amaxing song and video.

The main riff bears a significant resemblance to "in your honor" by the foo fighters
I like how you added the footage from the Pyramid song film clip with the fireflies. nice touch. good video. excellent song

Really Nice!!! Good Work
good song, havent heard that for years!!
this is an amazing song!
beautiful video, amazing song
The 1990's has been a much better decade for music than 2000-2010, at least so far!
Disagree
damn crazy that since this comment was posted, a whole other decade has passed (2010-2020)
@BVargas78
2000-2010 is longer than a decade, it's 11 years...
awesome thanks for your time
TE amo ...RadIoHEaD!!!!!!!!
Great job on the vid. Sounds great!

Very nice!
anyone else getting the main theme from midnight cowboy from this or is it just me? guitar part is a ringer for the harmonica part in MC
If I ever had to introduce someone to the wonder of Thom Yorke's vocals, this is the song where I would begin. Wow.
@elsalfo Oh, you know what he meant! I did alot of my homework to The Bends. I wish I was 15 again. However, I am getting older. I hope that when I die I will swim in all my best memories. x
i think thom yorke would win american idol or britains got talent with flying colors.

I thought the "when your on your knees" part veered towards the cheesily literal, but other than that, good job.

@elsalfo whoops! 2009 then!
I know, I didn't say radiohead ripped of the foo fighters, just that I wrote this with the knowledge that sulk came out earlier.
