In regards to the retirement visa, is US Social Security an approved income source?
Hello! Thank you for your comment! Yes, US Social Security is the most common source for the Retiree Visa applicants. The main document that needs to be obtained from the SSA is the Benefits Verification Letter. This would need to get an Apostille, but the exact instructions on how to get the respective Apostille would depend on other factors. Of course, we assist with guidance through all of this process.
Excellent video. Please make another with more detail for investment visa
Saludos hermano buen video
New to the channel - great to find you. My ecuadorian husband, my children and I , if in Ecuador, we stay in Guayaquil. Where are your tours starting point usually is? For a long time I was looking somebody to visit Ecuador with, and now I found. Will follow you and I will get in touch when there. Just let me know if do you pick up people in major cities or we have to get to ej. Cuenca, your place.
Hello Angela! Thanks for watching the videos and commenting! My tours usually start in Cuenca where our office is located. Eventually I may do things starting from Guayaquil, but that is once I get known there. As you already may know, not many foreigners that would like tours in English live in Guayaquil as in comparison to Cuenca, however, if you know about a community in Guayaquil that would like to tour, you may help me by sharing the channel so that I can start organizing tours departing from Guayaquil!
Luis, can you please do a video showing the "6" types of Temporary " Investment VISA's ", one of which is based on investing $31,500 in Stocks of Ecuadorian Companies. Thanks
generally speaking, do you know the difference in cost of getting a visa yourself versus paying an immigration lawyer like gringo visa to do it for you?
Are there any agents we can approach from Indian for the Ecuador Visa ? Appreciate the video, very informative
Please make and Investor Residency Visa Video!!!! 😊
Please inform if you have the video on Tourist for the above listed countries? I’m planning to travel in July and starting my process soon😊 Thanks
Hi Luis, for permanent residency do I need my birth certificate to be appostiled?
Hello Yvonne. It is not necessary to submit the birth certificate for a process of Residency Visa, UNLESS you are getting a Dependent Visa for your parents, or unless you are getting a Dependent Visa through one of your parents. The Birth Certificate is mandatory if you are applying for the Ecuadorian Citizenship. And yes, even in the optional case of submitting the birth certificate for a Residency Visa process (so that you can get your parents' names registered in your information and identity card) the Birth Certificate will need to have an Apostille (or Legalization depending on the country of origin).
Thank you, very informative. So you can not get the permanent residency visa by investment if you didn`t spent 21 month on the temporary visa in Ecuador, right? I`m interested in Ecuador but don`t know when I can leave my home-country and thought about a Plan B if things get worse here, and would be great to have a second citizenship or a residency permit.
Fascinating. I didn't realize you had to prove 450 USD income for six months in your HOME country. It's a bit silly that you can't lock 100,000 USD in three banks in Ecuador (generating 800 USD per month in interest, well above the 450 USD requirement) and use that as your official source of income.
But I didn't know about the credit card limit alternative either. I suppose that's an option.
Hello. No, it does not need to be in your home country. It CAN be from your home country, but it can be in Ecuador or even a third country.
It is NOT mandatory that the income is from abroad.
However, it is very uncommon that a person has CDs here generating interest for 6 months before coming. But, yes, you can do that and the Ecuadorian bank statements would work.
Of course, about 98% of people submit bank statements (or credit card statements) from abroad.
@@BildevTours Thank you very much for the information. I don't have much income right now as I am preparing to leave Canada, but I could use my credit card to qualify and then put 32k in various segmento-1 cooperativas for income on top of the base 45k for the visa.
I'm still a year away from being able to move, but I'll be visiting Ecuador for two months in early 2024 to make sure there's no problem and maybe prepare the terrain. I will absolutely be using professional assistance for immigration (best not to take any risks), so I might drop by one of your offices while I'm there.
It's interesting that you can make investments even before starting the immigration process, though. I might look into that too. I know it's difficult, you can't just move large sums of money from bank to bank in Ecuador like you can here in Canada.
Thanks.
Can you leave the country if you are on a temporary residency visa. And if so. Is there a maximum amount of time you can be away
Interested in visiting Ecuador
Pls am a cameroonian and do not know the website that one can use to apply for a tourist visa so pls can u help me do the visa application
I may need your service in the future, do you deal in real estate from gated community?
Once I get my permanent visa do I have to pay anything else later?
The 45 k bank deposit. Is there a recommended bank that pays a good interest rate you recommend . I see 10.5 % in some credit unions.
Is it possible to split the $45,000 CD for the investor visa between institutions so that it is completely insured?
Hello! No, unfortunately this is not possible. 😞
Do Indians need a transit visa?
Hola... question, I already have my visa but it is time to renew, how do I go by doing that.
Hola! Please note that I cannot give you an exact answer without knowing the details of your specific case. I can just provide general informaiton, which may not exactly apply to your case.
If you already reached the 21 months in Ecuador with the Temporary Residency Visa, you can apply for the Permanent Residency Visa provided that you meet the 12-month income requirement. If you are going to instead renew the Temporary Residency Visa, the process will depend on whether you were in Ecuador for at least 21 months since you received the Visa, or if you left for longer than 90 days; if the latter, then you will need to repeat the same process as for the initial Visa (except in the case of Professional Visas, because the registration of the degree is permanent). This is just general information. If you would like more detailed information, corresponding to your exact case, please send an email to info@bildevtours.com
Hello , Is it easier and faster to apply for an Ecuadorian retirement visa in Ecuador or in an Embassy in Miami? If one goes as a tourist to Ecuador, where would be better to process a retirement visa? in Quito, Guayaquil or Cuenca? Thanks
Hello Carlos! It is faster and easier from Ecuador, but depending on your specific needs (e.g. shipping a container before moving to Ecuador) doing the process through Miami might be more convenient.
If you come here to apply for the Retiree Visa (as most people do), then you can choose any city, but Cuenca is best among the three that you mentioned. In Guayaquil and Quito you have to schedule an appointment several months in advance, while in Cuenca just a few weeks in advance. In any case, if you work with me for the process you can grant me a Power of Attorney and I could assist you independently of where you decide to live in Ecuador.
Is this visa available for IT degrees?
Yes 👍
Hello
Hello!
👍
Is a tourist visa for eritrean passport holder on arrival?
Hello. Yes, a Tourist Visa is required in advance to Eritrean passport holders.
Sir im from Pakistan what can i do for visa ?
Thanks for watching! I will soon make a video about the tourist visa to Ecuador and the new system to apply for it.
You did not reply on your what's up sir,
What is the cost of becoming legal?
Hello! That depends on what you would define as becoming legal. You can legally be in Ecuador as a tourist for up to 180 days per year (and it would cost about $200). If a person was here for many years and didn't get a Visa, at this moment there is a special process going on for these people to get Residency Visas (like an amnesty). If a person is just coming now and would like to get all paperwork in orderm, then that's different, as that requires much more paperwork depending on the country of origin of the applicant and the Residency Visa that they would apply for. For more information and ask about your specific case, you may send an email to info@bildevtours.com
How can I register a business in Ecuador if I have tourist visa !
You would need to open an RUC (Tax ID) with your passport at SRI (Servicio de Rentas Internas).

Luis, i only wait for the day when it will be easier to travel to and from cities in Ecuador besides Quito, especially for older travelers, and when people have to go back and forth every year or after the winter. As of now, traveling to and from Ecuador, i.e. Manta, Vilcabamba, Cuenca, etc. it is very hard. It can be at least one or two changes in the US and Canada, and another two or more in Ecuador. It's very frustrating.
