An unofficial spokesman for Fat White Family called Patrick Lyons made a strange and rambling speech for the band as they collected the Radar Award.

These guys are on their own level of not giving a fuck. I saw them last night and I must say they're the most exciting, ferile, vicious, in your face live band I've seen in a long time. And I've seen the sex pistols.

It was after FWF had cleaned up their act from their junky stage, but Patrick was saying that Lias wasn’t in a good state - and he kept waiting for him to start his speech but it never came
