I'm watching pretty much every coach on YT and my conclusion is you're the best to watch - funny as well as useful. I have my list now, this time net year...Lebron kick smashes all the way👍
INCREDIBLE LESSON!!! Absolutely SPOT ON!!! You have brought all the important training points together for all of us "developing" players! And your teaching style is wonderful and makes it so much easier to learn and digest........ AND REMEMBER ! MUCHAS GRACIAS !!
I love how he pronounces volleys .. First time I heard it sounded like Folies , second time as well and even the cc agrees with me. thanks for the videos , they are great ...
Fantastic video, again, so helpful. I have been going through a lot of your videos to help me improve my game and each time I take the advice onto the court and try to focus on improving each time I step onto the court. You are always fun but the advice is vital to player like me trying to reach the next level. Thank you.
Position trumps most. I have seen many slow or not technical players but they are always in the right position. And being in right position conserves so much energy like many run or move way more than necessary due to bad position.
A M A Z I N G video for me as a semi beginner player, thank you so much for all the great tips and tricks!! I was wondering, I watch your *1minute padel reviews” also but is it possible to do this in a longer format? I don’t have the possibility to test rackets, so some good buying videos would be much appreciated! Greetings from a 42y old belgian wannabe padel player 😅
Hallo Sven.
found the video right after losing my first tournament (Bottom category) due mainly to tip nro 10 and 8... Hard time with overhead shots..Great content
Sven, excellent tips, not just keen players but many coaches should pay attention to these tips too 👂👂👀👏 I caoch the same way like you, and have to say the progress on my clients is very effective.
Nice video Sven! Good tips - How is the Diablo racket treating you? Are you liking it? I watched your 1 minute review, where you gave it a good score - Still feeling good about it? How does it compare to the trilogy?
I really like it. It feels like my smash is on fire with the diablo. Its just what I feel like a good racket should do. Its more attacking than I normally have and it seems easy enough to use it
Coach. Thank you so much for the tips. And yes, how to serve like a pro video please. Also.. whats your opinion on the differnces between the siux trilogy pro 4 and the diablo revolution pro 3... would love to know as i notice you play with both.
Hi Otro, great videos and advice, what are the correct rules regarding maximum height of serves, as I am told different rules, please advise. Regards Terry.
Awesome videos thanks! Keep on the good work. I play since january around 2 or 3 times a week, maybe i will change my racket next season. Which one you recommend for around €100,- a €150. I'm a right handed player, defensive and has not a lot of power in my hand, more control. Hope you can advice me for a nice racket to level up my game:) now i have a dunlop graphit frame rocket ultra..
Just to understand something, at 7:45 you explain returning from bounce onto glass. So this is just for exercise right? Because ball is not allowed to bounce twice?
Can you explain why you advice Sasha to hit earlier after the glass? I think I'm making the same mistake. I thought it would be better to wait for the ball to come to you because you have more time. It must be harder to make the hit correctly just after the ball has rebounded? And I'm a leftie playing on the right so I'm trying to do this on my backhand.
It is only harder because you think its harder 😃 Because you have to move less and the longer you wait the more the ball comes into your body. So it your opponent plays fast to the sidewall, you have to take it straight after. Otherwise you are still moving back when the ball is coming to you
@@OtroNivelPadel that makes sense, although my return position usually is just one step in front of the back wall, so I thought I would get there even before a fast serve comes. Anyway - hitting the ball immediately after the glass takes a lot of practice I guess. Thanks a lot👍
Sven, one more question (sorry😅) are there any exercises we can do in the backyard at home, i really love the game and want to improve but don’t have the budget to practice with a trainer (kids are costly 😅). I also saw the “Exit padel rebounder” is this something you would suggest for home use?
@@OtroNivelPadel a question I have about serving that might be good to include - do I need to bring the racket all the way up high above my head like the pros do?
Hard agree with #1 and #2! But an important point for #2 is HOW you decide where to play. Because some days you can't get anything right and the best decision is to play easy and "just put the ball in".
Positioning is important for your game, but also for the partner. Having it on nr1 will not only help you. But it 2x the amount of players. Immaging the mathematics your partner has to do if you have unpredictable positioning. He/she has to try and compensate for your position, making their game worse as well.
after coming back to padel from a break , like 90% of my mistakes were caused by bad positioning. shot techniques came back really quickly but I found myself in really bad positions constantly
I did not follow the lob tips from 13:41 and got trashed today. Always trying to lob from difficult positions and my oponents were almost sitting on the net and having fun with easy smashes ...
the rule that relates service height to the player height is the true garbage*. IT should be net height equal for all. The reference is easy: you just need to paint a line on the glass.

Yea they are both great. I am just able to give slightly more power with the diablo. But the sweetspot is a bit smaller with the diablo!

@@OtroNivelPadel a question I have about serving that might be good to include - do I need to bring the racket all the way up high above my head like the pros do?
It depends if you want to serve with slice or flat. But your preparation should be higher than the ball

You are not allowed to serve the ball at belly button height. Waist or lower.
Waist high is the hight of the belly button
@@OtroNivelPadel the waist is a little higher
@@Skelet0rsi dont think you are exactly upright when you serve so the bellybutton will be at that height
