About 2 years ago when I got into these, Gartner and Forrester both said that 2025 to 2027 would be prime for decentralized identities. We are almost there
hi What is the difference between NFT domains and Handshake domains offered by Namecheap, especially considering that Handshake domains require annual renewal?
are you talking about .eth domains? These are essentially treated like NFTs. Not exactly the same, but you can still sell them on NFT marketplaces like Opensea

the places like this are all marketplaces. however, for no gas fees, u can upload your photos on the polygon network onto rarible, but then just don't put them for sale and select that you want to keep it private. then nobody can see it, and nobody can buy it. Truthfully though, there's nothing really set up for that on web3 as far as i know. everything on web3 is based on digital assets that are for sale.
It was about needing a web3 site, not necessarily how to make sales through a web3 site (they aren’t sophisticated enough yet). Sorry if you felt like that wasn’t what was presented!
IP address is only one way we’ve developed to build a system. It doesn’t preclude other systems. A decentralized system may be slower but it still works to host it in this way.
Thanks for the great video, I have been steadily building up my portfolio of blockchain web 3 domains & my count is now in the 100's as I feel this will be a great future investment once the technology is more mainstream. With central banks working on CBDC's it is only a matter of time before the world goes cashless (for better or worse) let's hope for the better! Crypto currencies will be the normal way we transact in the not to distant future, just my opinion. 😀👍
I have been been building web3 domain names for a while, now exclusively for the celebration of our nations birthday in 2026 pacifically like US 250, USA 250, America 250, US250-2026 and so on .
Hey there I just purchased a web3 domain name, I would like some direction on how I can use it for my company website please. The 3dns website recommends to use /fleek to deploy then recommended hugo template and or github which does connect to fleek but I'm getting so many errors and deadends. I'm so confused. Help!
Yes, I watched your video and decided to go out and get a 2nd blockchain domain.

hi
What is the difference between NFT domains and Handshake domains offered by Namecheap, especially considering that Handshake domains require annual renewal?
Can you buy various web3domains and just hold them to see if you can sell it in the future just like regular domains?
Do you have any videos showing how to list web3 domains in the marketplace for sale?

@@TrentKennelly i actually was able to list them. It was really complicated for me but did it somehow. Now it all makes sense.

Can i flip web3 domain sedo, sav? Reply plz
Yes but just like with anything flipping domains comes with risks
@@TrentKennelly where we can sell web 3 domain? Have any specific marketplace?
So much usefull information 💫
Happy to help!!
Can Google turn Chrome into Web3 Browser? Simply, can any web2 browser be converted into web3?
It’s as simple as those browsers adopting more web3 principles :)
@@TrentKennelly ohh! Thanks 😊
I picked up several Web3 domains, but have not done anything with them yet
My first Web2 domain was pre-ICANN and at the time, it was free.
It’ll be worth it!
That’s awesome!! Wish I had picked some up back then haha
Where did you buy them? ;)
I have a .eth. I don't know much about it yet but trying to learn. Is it possible to build a website with it?
It's possible to build something basic, but there aren't enough tools associated with it yet.
Great video I've been trying to teach this to my platform members... I can't drop it without getting it removed 😢
Sorry for the delay! Not sure I follow - what's happening?

You’ll always pay gas fees but if you lazy mint then you only pay at the time of the transaction. They’re just a cost of doing business :)

How can a website work without an IP Address?
