Thanks for great video. One question I have is about removing the belt wheel/ harmonic balancer from the engine. I see the 3 allen bolts that hold it on and my question is...Are these 3 bolts regular thread or reverse thread? Mine are really tight and I'd hate to snap one off turning the wrong way. Thanks
I just removed mine, regular thread... Probably too late for you, but might help someone else. Also mine had 5/16 Allen cap screws, so you'll need a 5/16 Allen of some style to remove it. I was able to use a regular L shaped Allen key with a small pipe to get the bolts out! Good luck, you can do this!
If you are betting that your bearing hasn't gone bad, is removing the bearing required? Could I simply replace the seal with the housing still attached to the pulley?
Thank you so much. My Volvo 5.0 GL is leaking, I think in the same place. I will try your method to fix it.
Excellent, guess I'll be doing this sooon....finally figured out why I have this water in my hull! :)
Great video. thank you for sharing your experience and thorough procedures. Really helpful.
Great information....get yourself a small tripod for the camera so you can demo with 2 hands.

Why dont you pull seals and bearings on cam??? With all those tools build yourself a camera holder!!!
If you dont have a gear puller DONT try to hammer it out. I broke mine, I suck

my bearing pulled right out no tools needed
I did it with the help of Avasva solutions.
