What really grips me is the rhythm behind the intro when it goes into the higher register. The complexity of the chords and progression is unreal. I play it over and over. And at the outro as well.
Beautiful job on the video Mr. Boskey and of course fantastic job by super talented Mr. Gillette. Such an incredible musician. I'm somewhere between impressed and annoyed with his drumming. Hanging around with Mike Portnoy and taking notes he's got drumming chops that a lot of us guys took years to figure out! Reminds me of when I had the pleasure to jam with Paul Gilbert when he was a mere lad of 16. I left my drums there for a couple of days and when I went back he said "check this out" and proceeded to tear my set up with drum riffs! Pretty impressive and annoying! I wasn't going to touch his guitar...
Eric is in my opinion THE most talented multi-instrumentalist out there and his vocals are awesome too!! Check out his DRUMMING on the instrumental project " Tree of Life" .
What a fantastic song! Hats off to the prodigiously talented Eric Gillette. I discovered him through the Neal Morse Band, and I'm so glad to find his solo music. Daniel Boskey's video is strikingly beautiful, and fits the music perfectly. Well done!
Fantastic vid, great job. I found out about Eric through Neal's band, I'm hopeful he continues to develop as a writer cuz he's sick talented. I'm hoping he's the guy that Neal passes the torch to some day in the very distant future.
Similar to how I found out about Eric Gillette as well. I had known about Neal for years but only recently discovered Eric. Thanks for the liking the video.
Perhaps you are getting your wish. Eric's vocals are more prominent than ever on the Neal Morse Band's newest project (Innocence & Danger), and the band has rebranded as NMB.
Excellent "montage" for an epic song. Hats off, Daniel. Great work, I loved it... and thanks for posting this track, I didn't know about the personal compos from the "Morse compadre".
Thank you Marc! Appreciate the compliment. I am a big fan of your work as well. When I first saw your version of Infinite Fire by Flying Colors I knew I wanted to be making music videos like that. It left a profound impact on me. Thanks again from a fellow musician and musical enthusiast!
I wonder why Eric didn't play all the instruments himself (surely he can play bass as well?) I hate him. There should be rules against one guy having a great voice, being an amazing guitarist, and being so much better looking than me all at the same time. I hate Eric.
my goddddd, Erics voice is amazing
The bass line in the chorus really does so much for the song that it makes me say what next.......and in general just such a masterpiece ...
Great observation 👍🏻
Hey Eric. See you at the NMB show Cleveland OHio. Gonna be another great show.
What really grips me is the rhythm behind the intro when it goes into the higher register. The complexity of the chords and progression is unreal. I play it over and over. And at the outro as well.
This needs more attention
Oh man, how I LOVE Eric's voice !!!!!!!!!!!
Amazing music 👍🎼

Steven Wilson and Mariusz Duda are my favorite multi-instrumentalists/talents. But this guy...he can play the drums as well!
Melonology He can play keyboard also he actually started keyboards a 4 and guitar at 12.

I mean Thomas Lang on drums is pretty sick
