If it is on 1 console, the saves from 1 version ( EUR) work on another version (USA) . I tried myself on different games, i just copy/paste the saves and they work.

On my 5.05 PS4, I was playing the EUR version of Days gone, I copied the saves with PS4 save mounter, deinstalled the game and installed the USA version, different CUSA and continued to play with the saves from the previous CUSA.

i think its because you probably got a pc save and just resigned/rename without conerting it, ps4 uses low level bytes 41 character range (low hex) while on pc its values are full string...
If I try to load a incompatible save and it shows the corrupted message, will the file be marked as corrupt? Is there a way to revert it? Or just following the steps in the video will work? Thanks
I managed to fix it. Just do the final method where he exports a save from a version of the game to another. Make a save on new version, Export decrypted from the corrupted, rename to same as the new version save and import
If you want to edit your game saves via Save Editor then wouldn't Save Wizard be absolutely necessary? Can we let's say take a game save from RDR 2 that is on patch 1.32 and make it work on a 1.00 version of the game so I can edit it via RDR 2 Save editor? I'm guessing no and it would just crash the game but I thought it was worth asking anyhow.

Guys!, I'm going to share to you a top secret thing that i discovered by accident just now! @MODDED WARFARE please pin this comment So, let's say for an example you want to transfer your progress from the PS4 version of GOW to the PS5 one, right? (I'm giving this specific example because this is what i did) So by default if you try to transfer the save DATA from the PS4 (activated account obviously) to an USB and plug it into the PS5 (*with the same original PSN id*) it will not work, when you boot the game right from the start, a top right pop-up notification will be vissible saying that save file got corrupted. (atleast that was in my case) So, i used the same method as in this video, but applied it to my PS5. 1. Create a dummy save on your PS5 by starting a brand new game (this will be your original save that WILL WORK with the PS5) 2. Copy the dummy save to an USB 3. On the PS4 launch APOLLO app and repeat the steps from 16:04 till 16:35 with the save that you want to transfer to the PS5 4. Plug the USB (with the dummy save from the PS5) to the PS4 and launch APOLLO app again 5. In the apollo app go to USB SAVES and just copy it to the HDD 6. Go to HDD SAVES and choose the save file that you just copied from the USB and click on "Import decrypted save files" option 7. Exit the app, then by default copy the save file from the options menu that you just modified on the PS4 to the USB 8. Plug the USB to the PS5 and replace the dummy save with the modified one. After that you are done! In general what you did is you copied the contents from the PS4 save to the dummy PS5 save that you created.
Everything works but after rebooting the console, when you try opening the same game again it shows the save file has been backed up and corrupted. Almost all the games I tried
Does anyone know if it’s possible to transfer fpkg save file from PS4 and have it working on PS5 retail game disc? I’m trying to continue my game progress I started on PS4 (fpkg) over to PS5 but with retail game disc (not the same game title ID). I’d it transferred successfully from jailbroken PS4 to PS5 but upon loading up the save file on PS5 it wouldn’t appear at all. Can anyone help or if it’s a way to get it working? Hello there, This is quite the late comment, but I've recently tried to get a starter save for a game "Horizon Forbidden West". I've followed this tutorial to the letter, but alas it did not work. I've tried so many things with Apollo, even downloaded the complete save file listed in the online DB .. no dice. Cleaned all save data and only kept the initial profile untouched. Is it possible that some games have certain "security" measures that might prevent installing/copying external saves ?
the original saves in my game have exact same file size duplicates with sce_bu_ in the name... when i renamed and copied over my files, everything got corrupted to the point of needing PS4 reboot and game reinstall.. what to do, i dont get it

Yes this and PS4 Save mounter work to do just that. You just need to use offline account activator on your PS4, that has the receiving PS5s userID. Make a save on the PS5 and the 16byte string in the save folder is the UserID that you need to make an account for on your PS4, and then put any saves on that account. And then send them USB then to PS5.
This has worked for me for a few games but I can't get it to work for Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled. Every time the game is loading it says the save file is corrupt. I've used like 4 different saves. My copy of the game is on version 1.21 if that matters

@@CarnageReplays It works for me. What game are you trying to get saves to work. Some saves can be easy to setup on some while other games take a little bit of work.

Thank you so much. Let me explain my issue and why this helped. Gold edition for this game im encountering a bug where jack has infinite health. Ive used goldhen cheats for godmode and inf ammo and sat there for over an hour. The regular edition has a cheat in goldhen for instakill option which is not on gold editions cheat menu. I had to redownload my game fine but restart too ? Hell no. I was already pissed about the bug so i wasnt about to start over. This got my save working after several attempts.

First of all great video! I can understand why you'd put 'Save Wizard' in your SEO to reach the algorithm but I don't think the constant mention of 'using this Jb option vs buying a $60 program' is apt since they're 2 totally different options. It's good you're offering and showing how this can be used as an alternative free option for resigning, but at the end of the day, Jailbreaking your console is a one and done process. Most users still want to have online access which isn't possible on a standard JB console which really doenst benefit the average PS user. For $60 you pay once and you have the software forever, no JB required. This is year 5 of value ($12 per year) and still going strong, plus it's way easier & faster using SW. Just wanted to drop my 2 cents, huge fan of the channel, keep up the great work! - X
There's pros and cons to both. Most people who have jb ps4s also have another ps4 on latest firmware and just transfer saves between consoles. This also allows you to make mods for things save wizard won't release cheats for. Also re region support for all games instead of just ones with advanced mode, etc.
@@johnbowers7044 Great point! Most people who JB usually do have 2 consoles but unless someone gifts it, you're going to be -$200 - $400 as opposed to $60 if you're just the average fan who wants to play for fun with less hassle
omg that whole extract and import into a new save file for another region was just what i needed, thanks i had trouble loading my p5 royal file onto another gamedump, even when it was same cusa region just another download site, but the trick fixed it, that was so weird
So I'm still trying to figure out how to get my Days Gone save from cusa08966 to work on cusa cusa09175... Apollo keeps exporting it as a ".sav" file, and when following the same steps as in the video, it fails to import the .sav file. Anyone smarter than me know what may be going on?
Before importing the save file you need to press apply changes and resign because the save is connected to the account id of the owner. With resigning you detach the save from the owner and attaches it to the new account id (the new user).

@@alexscottthompson812 Ok I get it. Different CUSA encrypted (***. bin ) files on a same account work with ps4 save mounter. I tried myself on Days gone - 2 EUR different CUSA and 1 USA CUSA. I just copy/paste all my files including my bin files from the save folder into the new CUSA save folder and no problem. My 1st save work on all CUSAs. I do not use Apollo at all. But i do that with PS4 save mounter and previous Modded Warfare video about PS4 save mounter.

I finally managed to finagle the save into the other version, I'm not even totally sure how lol... it boots, loads and is playable, but I think the delta between versions is so large is just too much change for it to work properly, unfortunately. I Can't Save Used this method for jedi fallen order but the game doesn't save. My PS4 automatically rebuilt database and had to use your FTP + Script method to restore, i made a db backup after doing this. Jedi fallen order saves seemed to be some how missing. So checked the data backup i did, the save was there then checked on the PS4 through filezilla (User>Home) weirdly enough there was a smaller save file. So overwrite it and re-sign it with the Apollo. It loads and works but i cannot save shows an error code with corrupted data any solution???
I have transferred my Okage Save file from a PS5 on System 6.50 and after all the trouble to get my other consoles, PS4, jailbroken, Appolo Save Tool says on PS4 that this Save requires PS4 to by on System 8.00 or above. Is this really true???

Running gold hen should enable the patches. If not you can also try the ps4debug payload.

Nobody knows. Most probably it will require 9.03, since 9.03 is from the middle of December.

Thank you so much. Let me explain my issue and why this helped. Gold edition for this game im encountering a bug where jack has infinite health. Ive used goldhen cheats for godmode and inf ammo and sat there for over an hour. The regular edition has a cheat in goldhen for instakill option which is not on gold editions cheat menu. I had to redownload my game fine but restart too ? Hell no. I was already pissed about the bug so i wasnt about to start over. This got my save working after several attempts.
How can I copy my trophies from a PS4 to another PS4? (Both accounts never went online, they are both local.)

First of all great video! I can understand why you'd put 'Save Wizard' in your SEO to reach the algorithm but I don't think the constant mention of 'using this Jb option vs buying a $60 program' is apt since they're 2 totally different options. It's good you're offering and showing how this can be used as an alternative free option for resigning, but at the end of the day, Jailbreaking your console is a one and done process. Most users still want to have online access which isn't possible on a standard JB console which really doenst benefit the average PS user. For $60 you pay once and you have the software forever, no JB required. This is year 5 of value ($12 per year) and still going strong, plus it's way easier & faster using SW. Just wanted to drop my 2 cents, huge fan of the channel, keep up the great work! - X
There's pros and cons to both. Most people who have jb ps4s also have another ps4 on latest firmware and just transfer saves between consoles. This also allows you to make mods for things save wizard won't release cheats for. Also re region support for all games instead of just ones with advanced mode, etc.
@@johnbowers7044 Great point! Most people who JB usually do have 2 consoles but unless someone gifts it, you're going to be -$200 - $400 as opposed to $60 if you're just the average fan who wants to play for fun with less hassle

So I'm still trying to figure out how to get my Days Gone save from cusa08966 to work on cusa cusa09175... Apollo keeps exporting it as a ".sav" file, and when following the same steps as in the video, it fails to import the .sav file.
Anyone smarter than me know what may be going on?
Before importing the save file you need to press apply changes and resign because the save is connected to the account id of the owner. With resigning you detach the save from the owner and attaches it to the new account id (the new user).
@@amonra9651 Hey I appreciate the help, but the saves are actually on the same account ID... my problem is that I'm trying to import a save from a different *version* of the game (from US to EU, I think) like he does at 12:49. I tried what you recommended anyways though lol, unfortunately it didn't work.
Out of curiosity, do your save exports save as ".sav" or ".bin" files?
My save is titled "bendsavegame.ps4.sav," and the error I get when trying to import is just "Error! File bendsavegame.ps4.sav couldn't be imported"
@@alexscottthompson812 Ok I get it. Different CUSA encrypted (***. bin ) files on a same account work with ps4 save mounter. I tried myself on Days gone - 2 EUR different CUSA and 1 USA CUSA. I just copy/paste all my files including my bin files from the save folder into the new CUSA save folder and no problem. My 1st save work on all CUSAs. I do not use Apollo at all. But i do that with PS4 save mounter and previous Modded Warfare video about PS4 save mounter.

I finally managed to finagle the save into the other version, I'm not even totally sure how lol... it boots, loads and is playable, but I think the delta between versions is so large is just too much change for it to work properly, unfortunately. Can't save, all nests/NERO sites etc, have been reset., etc
I've seen people do it successfully, but I'm going from the literal 1.00 to 1.70, and the patch notes are massive lol... which I suppose makes sense since the original is so buggy.
edit: oh, and one last question... any idea why my saves are being saved as ".sav" files and not ".bin"?

I Can't Save Used this method for jedi fallen order but the game doesn't save.
My PS4 automatically rebuilt database and had to use your FTP + Script method to restore, i made a db backup after doing this.
Jedi fallen order saves seemed to be some how missing. So checked the data backup i did, the save was there then checked on the PS4 through filezilla (User>Home) weirdly enough there was a smaller save file. So overwrite it and re-sign it with the Apollo. It loads and works but i cannot save shows an error code with corrupted data any solution???
I have transferred my Okage Save file from a PS5 on System 6.50 and after all the trouble to get my other consoles, PS4, jailbroken, Appolo Save Tool says on PS4 that this Save requires PS4 to by on System 8.00 or above. Is this really true???
