Just be careful because if something hits that valve and knocks it off or it starts leaking your out a new motor. Thanks for watching, please LIKE and SUBSCRIBE
Hi Mat I've been watching your reviews on the your Mirage can you say about it not that it's been years since you've made a video about the Mirage do you have and updated pros and cons?
Enjoyed the video. You spent $30+ on the dimple oil drain plug and less then $10 on the wrong weight oil and filter. You may have voided you 100k warranty? I take mine to the dealer, $68 included oil, filter, new drain plug, fluid top off, tire rotation, brake check and computer diagnostic. Mitsubishi sends me $10 off coupons for oil changes every 3 to 6 months.
Thanks for watching Michael, yes sir the drain plug is worth every penny that magnet is super strong and I definitely didn't hurt my warranty there's no way for them to tell what oil was in it. It was so close to the correct weight that they wouldn't know the difference plus I've drained it out several times since then. I try to service my own cars because I just don't trust dealerships but for $68 for all that is a great deal. Happy Holidays Michael!
Good video. Thanks. I just needed to look and see how things are oriented before doing my first job to save time and hassle once outside. I'm guessing there were no issues with the channel-lock-type filter wrench. Looks a little tough; especially getting the factory filter off, which are always too tight. I'm going to stick with the OEM filter.
You prolly dont care but does any of you know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid forgot the login password. I love any tips you can offer me!
@Shawn Kaden thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm trying it out now. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Open the oil cap, (he forgot to say) get a 17 mm, drain the oil, forget the hillbilly trying to make fun of your car, catch the oil, change the filter, grease its gasket, put the NEW one back. put the drain plug back, fill it. enjoy your car and ignore JimmyBilly Bob
this is by far the worst oil change video that has ever been made. guy spends half the video talking about the magnetic drain plug and then walks around like a 5-year-old picking up everything in the yard with it. got past that the only helpful thing was explaining that the oil pan was on the passenger side. then he shows you where the oil filter is then blip he ends the film and now he's back on top of the lawn showing you the now removed oil filter in a pan never explaining how you reach the oil filter what kind of did you remove it with his hand did he remove it with a tool and show it doesn't show you how to put a new one in ..ridiculous
Awwwe poor baby! 😢 It says in the description exactly what this video is about. I don't care if you make a dumb comment because I think it's funny that I triggered your mental meltdown over my video. So go take a timeout and change your tampon and calm down Karen. 🤣🤣🤣🤣😎
The longer oil filter is 7317..Supertech no longer has 7317 so I used Fram 7317. I believe oil 0-W16 is for new hybrid engines or turbo engines.
I installed the fumoto drain valve, makes changes much much easier

@@matthewmeltonTEAMMELTONFISHING shouldn't leak, had it on my subaru for over 2 years without issue, even went through the snowcalypse here in texas
Whats the size of the magnetic drain plug?

I will be conducting my first one on my Mitsubishi, so now question, do I have to get under the car?
What happen to showing how to take that oil filter off in that tight spot!! That's exactly what I was waiting for ☹
It's to hard to get a camera in there along with my arm but it's easy to change the filter man just reach up in there and twist.
Nice drain plug, I prefer to extract the oil rather than using the drain bolt. I use a K&P S60 filter on my Audi A4
K&P makes a great product!
Thanks man I went to change my girls oil and couldn't find the filter lol
Thanks for watching Tyler, please like and sub. :)

@Shawn Kaden it worked and I finally got access to my account again. I am so happy!
Thank you so much, you saved my account :D
Thanks, you rock. Now I don't have to pay 90 dollars for oil changes lol

Thanks man!
Great way to ruin the warranty using the wrong oil and filter.
It's not going to ruin the warranty because you can always change it back to stock if you have to take it in to the dealer.
