Woah this bag looks great! My 'everyday' bag gets used for everything, from commuting with a laptop, carrying a load of supermarket shopping, some casual hiking to being a flight carry-on. That's a really hard set of requirements to achieve in one bag. Looks like this hits every box for me and thank you for the extremely comprehensive review! I'm going to go try it on tomorrow
I don’t have a roll top but I do have a Patagonia that opens solely from the top. Personally i got used to mine pretty quickly but I definitely understand that it’s not for everyone who wants to grab things more quickly (also this roll too makes it feel a bit awkward and flimsy! Accessing by the side was definitely a strange design choice 😅
thinking of getting this bag and I'm pretty sure ill just sew the bottom zipper (the one that zips upwards) to the backpack or break off the puller or something like that so it can't be used, because i personally don't have any use for it
i have a 30l schoolbag and i think from anywhere to 2-4 days you should be fine. i just make sure to wear my jeans and coat (bulky items) and i only use one pair of shoes. you might even get up to a week if you keep your outfits simple and stuff the bag.

A really good video with some excellent explanation and demonstration thank you. Much as I like this colour it went a long way in convincing me that rolltop backpacks are not my thing :) I repeat, your video and review was excellent and a great help, so thanks again, Packing Less :) Zs
I have this bag and love it. I use the front pocket for my ipad and book on flights. Perfect size for an ipad.
Thanks for the detailed review! I saw this backpack almost a year ago but almost no videos on it. Now I can really see the space inside.
I'm glad to help, Its actually kind of hard to get into the inside because of only has the single zipper on one side

Youre welcome, I hope you love it :)
That’s one of the cooler rolltop designs I’ve seen, but I agree, I find accessing roll tops really frustrating
Thanks for this video. Very helpful. Made me realize I’m not a fan of roll tops so I might opt for their other bag
thank you so much for the video! it's not covered very much online so I'm glad to see a review. i think I'll be getting one

Yeah I have seen other roll or flap tops that have a zip either side and flap down, that is much prefered
Which brand are those toiletries pouch from? Looks nice and sturdy
Its the PGYtech one, I reviewed here: th-cam.com/video/FWVGtk70FPM/w-d-xo.html and you can buy here: amzn.to/3tJUuZR
The price is great but that main zipper is too thief friendly. I do like the side waterbottle pockets and that it is not black on black.

Great review!
If i buy 32l will it good for putting good amount of clothes?
Depending on how much you bring yeah. Make sure you roll the clothes and for best results use a packing cube

How tall are you? I want to know how this backpack could look on me.
175cm (5'9")
@@PackingLess Thank you.
I use this backpack still like new to use rolltop properly you need to tighte the strap as well so it won't look saggy.
Thats true, but I still find the single strap a bit messy looking

@@bloodyysweet yeah I wanted to try it but they don’t sell that version here in the Australian decathlon store
