@@Cyclist-o6e thanks mate, I really like doing it. They’re actually far more interesting than ‘super bikes’ because they’re treading such a fine line between price and performance. And it really matters that these bikes are good. If somebody buys one and has a crap time then they’ll just assume that’s mountain biking and give up. By the time you’re buying a Yeti you’re already hooked so if you don’t like it you’ll buy a Santa Cruz or vice versa.
Is that dry trails and blue skies... In the UK?? I've got the outgoing MTR 9.0 and was really surprised that Boardman went downcountry. I'm not sure I'd want 130mm when it comes to replacement time.
Don’t think there has been a better time to get a high quality, low(ish) priced MTB with this, the Calibre and Voodoo. The big boys brands seemingly struggling these 3 are a gate way drug to the adrenaline filled pleasure of MTB…. And after missing out for the last 2 years Ard Rock 2025 is in the bag 😊
@ A Whyte less than £2k that’s such a good buy. A mate has the 140 in carbon a from a few years ago and it always impressed me and the ELyte 150 works which was just over £6500 on Black Friday is a thing of beauty
Really interested to see what your take is on the Canzo Pro and T8. I'm stuck trying to choose between both of these bikes as I'm upgrading from my Polygon D7.
Voodoo, Calibre, and now Boardman! You’re on a roll, Guy! I like that you review affordable bikes! Great work! Thank-you 🙏

@GuyKesTV Agreed, 100%
@@GuyKesTVvery good point. ‘Gateway drug’😂
Your local trails look terrific. And so does the bike on the whole
@@rollingpanda9590 TBF the light was amazing for the video
Think it comes down to this or the Chisel for me next, great to have a choice between affordable bikes again.
@@RussNicholls so good for sensible money options ATMO
It's a shame these are not available in the U.S. There have been great sales as of late but that's limited.

@@benmillns8976 yep, apart from dry ragging the Rockrider last week it’s been a genuine ‘no bike wash November’. Unbelievable but also frightening

@@rickmoz amazing mate. See you there. Hoping to get Polygon in too and there’s a new Whyte 160 coming for £1999 that looks amazing

Boardman have appalling build quality
