The only time this is acceptable is if you're stuck in a desert, a frozen tundra or the middle east where there is no chance of getting help and your life is on the line. Period.
@@jaypayelite117if you’re only going to travel 15 minutes before you buy a replacement tire, that should be fine. Just watch your speeds and for real CHANGE THE TIRE lol
@@quintinkemp6615ok and what if you’re somewhere with no service? But a gas station is 10 miles down the road? I bet you’ll plug up that sidewall real quick lol
@@quintinkemp6615 That's if you have a spare tire handy, which yes if you do should be your first option. But personally I buy a lot of used cars that no longer have spares. I usually keep a spare tire handy after i get new ones, but not on the rim. So in that case, I'd say plug up the sidewall only if a mechanic/home/some type of civilization is nearby. Aside from that, please don't plug your sidewalls people!
ONLY repair a sidewall if there is absolutely NO OTHER OPTION! Make sure you can make it to the next service station/tire store! Extremely dangerous to except as a “fix”
According to “Consumer Reports” 2018, revised Oct 23, 2021, about 30% of new cars sold do not have a spare tire. Car makers are skipping the spare because of regulatory pressure to squeeze more miles out of every gallon of fuel. Incidentally it also increases automakers’ profits because they don’t have to pay for those parts, tire, jack, wrench, retaining brackets, etc. Also, a lot of the country still has no or spotty cellular service. Many areas have persons driving roads like in much of Michigans UP where an auto breakdown may leave a person stranded for hours or days before another driver may come by. Emergency repair may work for them in a pinch.
For an emergency this is something to have. Not all new cars come with a spare tire and not all keyboard warriors and momma boys know how to change a tire.
It is not recommended to make a plug in the bead part of the tire, since that area works in amortization, at the moment it looks good. but when he goes out, he's going to go out
This will not lost and the pressure on the side will push those strips out in no time! Also they won't need this in middle east they just change the thing!
Side wall patch is good till you get to the next tire shop nearest you and purchase a new tire, also make sure not to go over 35mph Incase it blows out you can recover from such a disaster. This sidewall repair should never been seen as a permanent fix or acceptable to drive on a highway at high speeds, it is certain death for your help and innocent oncoming traffic

Completely not safety terrible
Literally 15 miles away from the gas station with court 300 miles away I need to at least make it to town to get a new tire lol this will do
Middle East is safer than many places in the state but some people like to be guided like a sheep

Tires are not suppose to be plugged on the side wall. It’s dangerous.
Well what are you gonna do in an emergency?
@@chrisknight636 call roadside assistance or AAA.

If youre stuck in the woods yup you can rely on this
For an emergency this is something to have. Not all new cars come with a spare tire and not all keyboard warriors and momma boys know how to change a tire.
Most new cars dont come with a spare tyre instead they come with a repair kit
Replace the tyre if sidewall is damaged
Times are getting tough all over
It is not recommended to make a plug in the bead part of the tire, since that area works in amortization, at the moment it looks good. but when he goes out, he's going to go out
Not shown: dismounting and mounting a new tire
Go start to the tire shop and replace immediately, unless you want to die or worse someone else dying.
They say is not required to be repaired by the one who produced the tires. Need to be replaced with newer tires .
Should never repair a sidewall puncture !

Esse tipo de remendo na lateral do pneu não e recomendado
Don't forget to save some money for the lawsuit!
Never ever repair sidewall punctures
Yeah that's going to zipper for sure.
Ye punchar nhi chalega
Réparation comme ça sur le flanc ? Il vaut mieux un emplâtre.
Use mushroom punture
Completely not safety terrible work
What did u say? I re read it 3 times and cant fucking comprehend what u said
This would not be legal and dangerous due to the amount of pressure exerceted on the side wall when driving.Reckless
One bump 😂

The bottom is tread. The side is told hold the tread. It's it's structure. You just ruined the tire. Goodluck in hospital
