Spit roasting Lamb

Here are some hints on how to spit roast a whole lamb (or pig). There are two secrets that most people miss.
A pig takes about 50% longer as it is a much more dense an animal. A decent lamb will feed 20 or 30 people. I have an extension to do two lambs at the same time. I also have covers in case of rain while cooking. A water tank cut in half to make two arks. I used them for the first time just the other day. They sped up the cooking by about 1/2 and hour, as they kept a bit more of the heat in.
