Tell me I wasn't the only one who read the vid title and checked the video length immediately...
i did it too!
So did I
Same
Clicked the video without fully reading the title, but checked the length when he named the challenge.
omg thats so unique 😯🫨🫨 noone else would ever do that
11:25 Matt checking the price as if that isn’t the price of the entire bridge😂
And calculating from head how much money have left
Came here to say that😂
@@janbartos4271it’s the fact that he calculated how much he had left THEN checked the price lmao, he did harder part lmao
What about going for the lowest stress without going overbudget? Like top 1%. I guess that's how a "real" engineer would do it
That's what I was hoping he would do. Instead he still focused on the cost =/
Safety first
That's a rather civil challenge
I would love to see Matt try his hand at the lowest stress leaderboard
Would love to see RCE take a stab at this! However, jump world may not be the most fun levels to do low stress on as it can feel even more inconsistent and tweaky than jumps usual do 😅
If one of Matt's videos is longer than 20 minutes, you know it's gonna be good
correct
Dont translate. I warned you.
ในเวลาไม่กี่ชั่วโมง หัวใจของคุณจะเริ่มหยุดเต้น วิธีเดียวที่จะป้องกันไม่ให้สิ่งนี้คือสมัครรับข้อมูลจากช่องของฉัน
@@LunarP2Wshut up Npc
@@LunarP2Wbet that will happen
@@LunarP2W also i have more subs and i don’t beg for people to sub for a stupid reason
You should do one where you simply go for lowest stress throughout the whole video, kinda like this, but a bit more focused on the stress being low
I feel like that would induce stress
Yeah, I know I'm late but it was dissapointing he didn't keep refining for lower and lower stress
Next challenge: If RCE gives into temptation and draws a strongest shape the video ends(it is gonna be a short one)
do galery bridges technicly count ?? . . . if not , than this challenge isn't that hard for him . . because lately his fans draw sausages more often than Matt himself
Must keep stress over 69%
That's what she said
@@Mr_Darby at*
the video or the shape?
6:43 I DO appreciate all the hard and good work you editores guys do. In fact, I'm always on the look out for these funny, quick, short, and personal related messages between you and Matt, and I find them hi-lla-rious. And one of the things that I admire the most is the fact that you guys take the time to CC his silly, funny, cringy, deftoned songs. Tha fact that you guys have to go through them more than once to place the CC on time is really something to be admired. XD If you ever need something translated to Spanish, hit me up. I'll help.
I can't believe my heart rate went up from watching a Poly Bridge video.
no mate i straight up started watching no title needed
His songs are legit getting better. RCE might be the first gamer/engineer turned singer in history
How is the original song called?
@@Will-td8ro Gloria Gaynor - I Will Survive
I could see the Devs piggy backing off of this idea and adding in a daily or weekly challenge where you only get 1 attempt.

The old classic. The Boots and cats... Respect. - RCE Charity CD of all his classics coming soon to the merch store. The Bridge Trust charity are a worthy cause!
From a physicists pov, the bell curve at 4:35 was rule 34 material. As soon as i saw it i was sure it wasn't even close to failing, the flow of force was just too good planned.
Now that's engineering!
Edit: watching it unfold was amazing, totally forgot that's a thing🤦♂️
This video proves Matt may actually know what he is doing. He might have been an engineer at one time, especially odd given his usual architectural tendancies
Came for the bridge, stayed for the montage 😂
Boots and cats.
Literal gold
I feel like Matt's gonna return to these levels next video only to trim the cost
Oh totally
He had better!
as he should cant let aliensrock win (even tho its actually disgusting how badly aliensrock beats matts ass when he goes back and tried to beat his scores)
I hope so
U should check the leaderboards for lowest stress too. It'd be interesting to see how people do that.
Gallery? Not possible unfortunately
@@RealCivilEngineerGaming well, that's unfortunate.
Well that’s dum
The devs should add that in as a feature
For those wondering: gallery can't sort by stress; it sorts by budget by making the budget part of the replay id. Stress isnt written into the replay id the same way, so no sort by stress.
We'll get stress shown in the gallery next to price eventually. Then you can sort budget high to low, ✅️ under budget only, and find some cool low stress solves more easily.
Pb3 devs are super active & working to improve the game 😄 they'll do what they can!
The amount of vehicles stuck on the tops of buildings in PB3 is just astonishing.
That abrupt ending caught me off guard 🤣 just “oh, poo” then silence was so odd.
I love the format! I always liked properly engineering a bridge to be safer better than engineering it to be cheaper to be honest. Would love to see some more of this!
I suggested a "least stress playthriugh" two videos ago and now youre doing it. Thanks Matt! :D
He really needs to release a CD with all his songs. Love them lol
I think this is your best poly bridge video yet! The no breaking challenge added a great tension (no pun intended) and narrative to an otherwise really chill game, great work!
I watched part of this without audio, but thought I did. Turns out I just know you and your voice really well - I was picturing your voice in my head when reading captions, and although autocaptioning missed it, I knew you were going to say “boosh” repeatedly at 3:20. You’re very predictable and I love it
I love video ends style content because it often satisfies my love of perfectly cut screams.
I actually love seeing Matt try to do a low budget solution and low stress, like an engineer
3:52 I did NOT expect so many boots & cats 🤣 bravo!
PLEASE MAKE A BRIDGE COVER OF WAITING FOR LOVE LIKE “WHERE THERES A GAP, THERES A BRIDGE, AND ITS CABLE STAYED”
Honestly I find that the lowest stress under budget challenge is a much more interesting way to play the game but that might just be me.
4:20 „Not to mention I need to poo“. Im literally on toillet rn LOL
The "boots n cats" was strong in that montage 😂😍
It would be neat if there was a challenge mode in which you have to build bridges but if your bridge breaks, you are done. As a way to keep folks from memorizing the layouts have small tweaks to the physics of each level. Whoever builds the most successful bridges consecutively without having one break has the highest score. Really test the engineering acumen of polybridge players
"So, regarding your two foundational anchor points for this bridge you're proposing, one is an I-beam suspended by a crane and the other is a power pole?"
"Mhm."
“Looks like a Diglett in a hard hat” had me dying 😂
4:13 the “boots n cats” lol
lots of top players dont' share their solutions... but goseigen always does, so i keep getting dejavu when i see his bridges in your videos
You were definitely like "I gotta end this video so I'm gonna keep making this bridge as unstable as possible." at the end, lol. Love your videos tho! Just thought it was funny
It would be neat if there was a combined score leaderboard. Take budget then divide by max stress. A safer bridge might score better than some of the more sketchy submissions.
I think you got it wrong - as the budget increases, the number increases, but as the max stress increases, the number decreases
@FlyMaster_ good point. 👍
I'd love to have a video where him and his friend he competes against get 10 or 20 minutes for a level with the goal being the least combined percentile from stress and cost
This might come off as rude, But I mean it as a compliment. Your videos are so relaxing that I watch them every night to put me to sleep. As I have ever since your first few videos. I enjoy your content and am thankful for the sleep it has given me
I love how Matt still hasn’t learned that cars don’t interact with planes or boats.
Love how he really ended the video right where the bridge broke
Real Civil Engineer The MUSICAL!!!! DO IT! iknow both you and your editor want this!!
Keep up the montages! They just keep on getting better and better!
genuinely one of the best Matt engineering covers
This video didn’t end as soon as the bridge broke, but I’ll forgive you because it was just long enough to hear Matt’s inspired reaction of “Ah, poo.”
I love me some quality public works, so I'm really pleased to see a video focusing on maximum stability within the budget!
My favorite PolyBridge video setup to date.
i knew how the video would end, but was still surprising to see it happen like that .
This video was essentially Matt playing Farcle or Greed, but with bridges.
Another challenge:
If the bridge breakes the budget halves.
I love the friendly "how did Tyler do?"
One of the best TH-cam friendly rivalries!
Steve Terreberry would be proud of the Boots 'n Cats drum section :)
The notch in the sides is actually meant to be an anchor point. You just need to ensure that your joint is nestled into the bottom corner, to prevent any movement.
Every time he does something risky I check the length of the video
"technically, it could be okay."
the last words of a lot of engineers
Ive damn near spent the last 3 days watching your old poly bridge vids ...I might be hooked to your content
I like this video, I'd like to see well engineered stuff rather than the sketchiest bridge that works. You could go for the lesser stress under budget as well!
A good challenge. Real Civil engineers need to be the first across the bridge in the company's semi truck(with a full load and on a windy day).
NiffTea's solution in the end was a Teapot. How'd we miss that?! Shoutout to the NiffTea spirit
I love how Matt tried so hard to end the video that he just resorted to making things that were almost guaranteed to break by the end
11:25 well what did you think those numbers built😂😂
The stress leader board is where you belong as a true engineer
I have a real-life bridge suggestion. There is a bridge that had a famous failure called the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. I'd like to see the current generation in Poly Bridge (the span that replaced the failed bridge)
Not a huge fan of the songs, but do appreciate the novelty and creativity.
That said, you just won my heart with the boots and cats. Great job.
I do hope Matt comes back to these levels because let's be real. We love seeing Matt shave his bridges lol.
Dab of hot sauce whenever a bridge breaks. I know we can't see you actually do it but it could be a fun change. No milk until the area is beat.
I appreciate the fact that he's just saying "boots and cats" repeatedly
Love this new format!! And I'm so happy we still see the RCE propaganda with the strongest shapes. I will never get bored of this!
RCE is really the actual GOAT of Polly Bridge
I'm not sure when I started watching these for the fantastic musical numbers but I know its what I'm here for now.
That NiffTea box delivery was awesome!
would love to see a collab between this dude and either lets game it out or blitz. defo satisfactory with josh and that ship game with blitx all 3 are wicked
He is using the Ian Stirling beatbox method of "cats and boots and cats and boots..."
An Engineer is always true to their word and you sir are an excellent Engineer, nice to see the immediate cut off after the break.
Thank you so much for the bridge building montages. They're unironically absolutely wonderful 🙏
The singing had me cracking up frfr, so unexpected XD
I see you're going for the "boots and cats" beatboxing strategy :D
I love how confused Matt is by knobs these days 😂😂😂
I always have all his Polybridge songs stuck in my head 😂 I love them
I think at the last bridge he purposely kept trimming the bridge down so it would break because he knew he already had enough content for a 20+min video. Either way, well done mate
big fan of how immediate the episode end was to the offending event
We need a compilation of bridge songs
Giving yourself top 50% for both budget and stress combined would be cool. Like top 20% stress and top 29% budget is allowed, but 26% and 27% is a fail.
3:53 "boots and cats and boots and cats....."
At the end when he finally lost, as SOON as he removed that piece I was just like THAT'S A HIIIINGE lmao
Just two videos casually popping up right before you deleted that wood
I saw the video title and am frankly shocked the video is more than a minute long. Good job.
On the other hand if the challenge were “if the vehicle falls the video ends” that would have been a really short video.
HE MISSED THE NIFFTEA SPONSOR 2:49
14:01 Is it me or he thought he was at the BOTTOM 49% instead of TOP 49% ?
"ohh pooo!" should be the sign off for all future vids
I love this content, as an engineering student. I love that I found this channel
we heard you doing "boots and cats" in the background of that montage, don't think we couldn't!
The nifftea solution where it delivered the R from one side to the other was incredibly satisfying
First time I watch some Polybridge stressed out 🤣 Good Job Bud!
25:50 aww POOoo...
I see Matt has wrapped around and is trying to compete in least stress now. I guess Tyler's engineering skills were too intimidating to compete with.
You can tell exactly when he said "ok the video is long enough"
I saw something about how someone heard an English person call Oreos something extremely obnoxious and that made them understand why we had to have a revolution. “Telegraph poles” just reminded me haha
Great video, especially at the end the trimming till it breaks. You should do another video like this but instead of ending the video you end working on that bridge.
That ended exactly as I hoped it would 😂
You are not alone I also read the vid title and checked the video length immediately.
3:35 A MASTERPIECE
