I do like riding in the dark. Don't do it enough any more. For decades I used to do a 50 mile + night ride every week with my cycling buddy in all weathers. Admittedly it was not on gravel, but it was sometimes known to be on black ice and snow.......Or through flood water. That was before cycling became cool again, and when bike lights weren't as good as they are now. We had NiteRider lights imported from the USA with 2 big NiCd battery packs. (my friend was a bike dealer) And cars would pull over thinking we were another car. Great times.

Not sure if it was tubeless or not? You're right but for some tubeless is quite daunting. There are very few tubes on rides now and we haven't had a major "tubeless" incident for some time. Modern tubeless is good 👍
