How I would explain what love is without using words: Closing my eyes and hugging my loved one so that our positive energy can dance through us.

My favorite thing is just smile, every morning I look at myself in the mirror and I just smile back at me... I believe a smile changes so much

I frequently think about this as a parent. It becomes almost bipolar, expressing joy for positive behavior and condemnation for bad behavior to a child. It's a difficult cycle to break. I make sure to express love, I just hope it is enough.

Question: How do you balance unconditional love and self love / self respect? Perhaps I am misunderstanding it, but how do you love someone unconditionally and continue to love and accept them if let's say that person doesn't value you, appreciate you anymore? Or worse if they outright mistreat you? Thank you for what you're doing. Wish you could reach more people. I will always share your videos with those closest to me.

I an no Peter Sage, but here is my take. Love is not a relationship but a state of being. If someone is not respecting you or being abusive in some manner that you know you cannot tolerate, you can still love them AND end that relationship. I remember Katie Byron saying that saying no to someone is still saying yes to yourself. Hope this helps and peace be with you.

My Cat was far easier to deal with than all the waste of space men I have dated. Cats far more unconditional. I don't want to be in a relationship with any more men!
