Hi Corrie, greetings from darkest Oxfordshire. Stay warm and have a good weekend. Another cracking video. I think the pilot of the Seair Caravan was playing fighter pilots. A constant curve from downwind to final and coming in hot.
Hi Ian, we too are experiencing the dark days of impending winter, it's been chilly too. You made my laugh, the Caravan pilot playing fighter pilot and coming in hot, it was a good start. I am sincerely grateful for your kind words, mentorship, knowledgeable engagement and support, thank you. Best...Corrie
Thanks for checking in Shaun, I am doing well. Our weather has been pretty good as of late, just chilly. I am truly grateful for your always kind words and support, thank you. With love from Canada 🇨🇦. Best...Corrie
I was nervous about that racer, thinking about the incident from a few months ago. I'm glad I don't have to worry about "lane incursions". The boaters aren't necessarily professionals, so one doesn't know whether the boat pilot will at some point just suddenly think, "I'm going to make a sharp right turn". It seems so chaotic with the way they handle both water and air movements, but they seem to handle it well enough.
Your comment is perfect! I thought the same about the incident a few months ago and this situation looked similar to me. As you said, It seems so chaotic with the way they handle both water and air movements, but they seem to handle it well enough. I am truly grateful for your always kind words, knowledgable engagement and support, thank you. Best....Corrie
I flew on a HA Twin Otter to Victoria. I read HA is the largest floatplane operator in : North America, or the world? Not sure what it was. Does anyone know for sure?
Aaron, Harbour Air is the largest seaplane operator in North America, Trans Maldivian Airways is the largest seaplane operator in the world. A Twin Otter is a great way to get to Victoria any day of the week! Thanks for visiting the lounge, I am truly grateful for your kind words, engagement and support. Best....Corrie
There were 3 fuel barges in coal Harbour at one time. Back in the day somebody loaded up the 9 o'clock gun with rocks and blew the windows and signs on those barges.no on hurt as they were closed for the night, itwas late fall.
Thanks so much for sharing such an interesting story, thank goodness no one was hurt. I appreciate you visited the lounge Joe, I am truly grateful for your kind words, interesting engagement and support, thank you. Best...Corrie
