I have never seen a comedian nail that awkwardness like Kyle. It's like he had his self-esteem surgically removed. Absolutely brilliant.

Omg, exactly what I came here to say! He nailed the awkwardness. Love all the little quirks. Even just the way he leans on the chair while talking to the girls. Pure gold 😅👌

definitely. he does this type of delivery a lot. it's like a 15 year old's cadence and facial expressions, along with what a 15 year old would actually say. he's got another skit where he's asking Bowen, "do you like me?", and it's in the same vein.
i love how each season there's this Kyle theme sketch w/the cast. First it was Kyle & Leslie relationship, Beck & Kyle 90s retro sketches, Kyle trying to beef up, and now Kyle vs Mikey Day.
Don't forget when he tried to be the new Pete!
I guess since Leslie left, Kyle doesn’t need to hate Colin anymore for trying to steal her. Now that hate is directed at Mikey.😉

This is what Kyle does. He is so gifted at making things so awkward. Vulnerability has never been utilized by any other comedian to this degree. He is a pioneer. True genius.

Genius? He’s just being himself and is self-aware that he’s generally considered the lamest person in any room. I can only tolerate him when he’s playing a character far removed from his natural personality.

Kyle had me SCREAMING! 🤣 It was the subtle shade towards the cast for me and him being self aware of his "cut for time" status.
I just realized Billie had two distinct sketches in this episode where she tries to be nice to someone for Christmas only to regret it - this sketch and the Kate/lonely woman next door neighbor sketch. She did a great job in both, especially how she went from being friendly to horrified in mere seconds.

I used to watch Mikey perform live at The Groundlings in LA, he was super hilarious. He was grinding in the industry for years before he landed SNL.

After watching Billie this weekend - its safe to say she's ready to make the jump to acting - she did a great job - SNL is not an easy gig to pull off.
Would be fun to see Billie in series like Pretty little liars. Where she is the normal non popular girl, but totally awesome, and girls go to her for advice. Then be besties or whatever lol.
